The Awakened Blader

"Oh uh what's wrong with his?" He asked.

"He doesn't have one and he needs a special made one because he just broke one of our launcher in one pull!" She exclaims.

"Oh, well do you know how strong his launch power is?" He asked.

"We just need the most durable launcher you have." She said.

"Hmm well I do have one that's impossible to break with sheer launch power but it'll take some work to get workin properly." He said.

"We'll take it!"

They walk out back where they have a large stadium.

"Unlike the toy stuff inside this bad boy is tournament grade nearly impossible to break so it won't melt and warp like the one you used earlier, and it's bigger so it gives your bey some room to run around!" She brags.

Kodai puts his bey on the launcher and prepares to launch.

He takes a deep inhale and holds his breath as he launches and with a zip and a sizzle the beyblade spins to life.

It let's out massive winds as it spins for real after thousands of years.

"Woah! It's stronger than I've seen in most tournament battles!" She exclaims.

"I'm the strongest blader in this family dad taught me everything he knows and that'll never change." Elizabeth's oldest brother said.

"You can't be sneaking up on people like that!" She exclaims.

"With this stranger in our house I can't be too careful." He said.

"He's not a stranger he's a lost and scared child!" She yelled.

"Look at his eyes, he ain't normal, he's like a robot observing his surroundings! And I intend to prove to him he won't have any effect on this family." He said.

Kidai couldn't understand most of his words but he could understand the intent behind them.

He picked up his bey and placed it back on the launcher taking a launch stance.

"Atleast you can understand this much." He snorted.

The boy counted down.

Go shoot!

And both boys were circling the stadium but kodai's eventually just sat in the middle.

So he's a defense type I just gotta knock him out of the stadium.

"Knock him out of the stadium!" He roared.

His bey scrashed into kodai's with full force the material creaking under the force as winds rush from the clash but he wasn't strong enough and his bey bounces off of Kodai's like it's a trampoline and falls out of the stadium while Kodai's sits perfectly in the center having not budged even a millimeter.

"What!? H-how!" He stammered.

Kodai just shrugged his shoulder and picked up his bey.

"Wow that was incredible! He has several tournament wins under his belt but you just swatted him away like a fly!" She exclaimed.

In the midst of her wow's she gets a brilliant idea.

"You should enter the next local tournament!" She exclaimed.

Kodai just tilted his head and raised an eyebrow.

"The next tournament is in a month that gives you plenty of time to get acquainted with the rules and improve your english." She said dragging him to her room to get started on teaching him.

When he was being dragged Kodai had left his launcher on a nearby table and Elizabeth's brother picked it up.

"What's so special about him anyway he's got a launcher boosting his power!" He complained as he put his bey on the launcher.

He launches as hard as he can but his bey doesn't even leave the launcher.

"Huh!?"

He recognizes his dad's craftsmanship and takes it to his dad for answers.

"Dad what is this?" He asked.

"That's a reinforced string launcher." He responded.

"No what is this!" He points to the switch on the launcher.

"That is a switch to reduce the stress the launcher is on why?"

"I just tried the same setting Kodai was using and I can't launch it!" He complains.

"You're saying kodai has been using THIS setting!?" He exclaims.

"Yes!"

"Give it here!" He demands.

He grabs it and begins tinkering with it and when he's done he hands it back to the boy.

"Give this back to kodai pretend you grabbed it to give it back to him and don't let him know about any of this." He commands.

The boy does as he said and when he gets to Elizabeth's room he finds then going over an English book.

"You guys forgot this." He says with his arms crossed.

Elizabeth tries to grab the launcher but he pulls it away.

Nope you ain't getting this except on one condition.

"Ugh, you're so annoying, what's your condition?" She asked.

"He needs to teach me how to launch so powerful!" He demanded.

"He's just strong its not like it's some technique he barely even knows how to beyblade." She says but Kodai just nods his head.

"Good!" The boy says as he begins leaving.

"Don't go back on your word." He demands.

The boy makes it back to his father where he's looking at a data sheet on his computer.

"I did it dad what did you do to his launcher anyway?" He asked.

"Just a little data tracking you'll find out when I begin getting data." He said
