chapter 7
7 – Change – 1
“Hehe, are you here?”
“…Priscilla? What are you doing in my room?”
I had an unexpected guest in my room upon coming back from an unexpectedly stressful visit.
“I lack warmth…”
Priscilla, buried in my bed, lifting her head at the sound of my footsteps. Next to the bed were a girl’s school uniform, a coat, blazer, and a slightly torn skirt.
‘Wait. What about the rest of the clothes?’
I looked at Priscilla’s body, which bulged from under the blanket with doubt. Without finishing my thoughts, Priscilla struggled to sit up with a smug smile on her face. Naturally, the blanket slipped off.
“……”
Priscilla was dressed only in a shirt, underwear, and a garter belt.
Her lingerie, the same color as her hair, supported her full breasts through the unbuttoned shirt. Her sensual figure was clearly exposed where it was not covered.
The orange lingerie holding her breasts boasted a heavy weight, and the underwear that covered only a few palm-sized areas tightly compressed her buttocks.
“Why are your clothes like that? No, before that, how did you get in?”
The male and female dormitories naturally use different buildings.
It wasn’t just that. Bellium Academy’s dormitory has protective magic installed to detect and arrest the opposite gender intruding, and each room has a personal lock.
But Priscilla just appeared in my room.
“My clothes didn’t have enough warmth…and I saw Aria disabling the protective magic before…looking for evidence…”
She touched her forehead. It must have been easy to mimic as she had seen it more than once or twice. What episode from the original made her sneak into a man’s dormitory to find evidence?
Laughing, I held Priscilla back, who tried to hug me, and demanded that she put her clothes on first. As soon as I rejected her, she weakly put on her clothes with teary eyes.
Even though I made a reasonable request, Priscilla’s expression seemed so pitiful that I felt like the bad guy.
“Sigh…”
She immediately came to me as soon as she put on her clothes. Her arms wrapped around my neck and her head buried deep in my shoulder. The sound of her breathing in came several times.
“Okay…okay…It’s warm…”
Her thighs tightly wrapped around my waist. Her ankles crossed in an X near my coccyx, completely blocking the gaps. Our groins were tightly pressed against each other.
“Hmm…?”
Priscilla, who was sharing her warmth in an extremely risky pose, suddenly stopped and started sniffing with a deep focus. Then she grumbled with a bit sulky voice.
“…It smells like someone else. It’s like the smell of flowers. Is this Prince’s smell?”
“Can’t you react like a human for once?”
Even if her toes wiggled a couple of times while the prince was stepping on her, she recognized it correctly; it’s not a dog. Moreover, she even burnt the coat where he had stepped on it.
“But I…it’s my first time living like a human. I’ve only lived like a doll before…”
“……..”
I had nothing to say to that. I gently stroked her nape. Priscilla enjoyed the moment, burying her face in my chest and sniffing.
Lately, Priscilla has been regaining her humanity quickly. She subtly used her sad past and her status to satisfy her desires.
It’s been only two days, but it’s a considerable change compared to the entrance ceremony.
“Her mood seems to be getting brighter, but…”
Somehow, her need for physical contact and its accompanying intimacy seemed to increase in proportion. Look at the way she’s holding me now, she didn’t ask for such a position until yesterday.
“Priscilla.”
“Yes, what?”
I brought up the main point only after letting Priscilla satisfy her desire for a long while. Her thighs, wrapped around my waist, felt significantly weak, which indicated she must have been quite satisfied.
“I think we need to reconsider the plan to draw His Highness, the Crown Prince, to our side.”
“Huh?”
After deep thought, I decided not to assert that the Crown Prince had an unconventional taste. Unless he revealed it himself, I could not make such assertions about others based purely on suspicion.
Especially if it’s the taste of the first in line to succeed the throne.
I didn’t forget to subtly mention the incident that happened then. Upon hearing what kind of behaviour the Crown Prince displayed, Priscilla nodded her head, understanding, her eyes clouding slightly.
She proceeded to rub her body predominantly against my left shoulder. It was a movement much more persistent and careful than usual.
Two more days passed after my meeting with the Crown Prince. I was prepared to be summoned once more, yet, to my surprise, no one came looking.
“At least they have a conscience.”
Because it seemed like he was aware of his own mistake. I mean, if you don’t recoil from doing that kind of thing with another man, you’re definitely not normal.
“That’s a relief.”
“What is?”
Aria, who was sitting on the terrace sipping her coffee, smirked. Brynhild was sitting beside Aria, and there was no one alongside me.
Priscilla, as usual, tried not to attend the lecture, was caught by the professor, and was dragged along gurgling with a magic wand sticking out of her mouth as much as her words.
“It’s about the changed gaze towards you, Mr. Crate. Now there are no people blatantly staring at you like a few days ago.”
“Ahh, it has come to that.”
From Monday’s Entrance Ceremony until today, Friday, I showed overwhelming performance in all the afternoon lectures I participated in, firmly disproving any controversy about my abilities.
With Brynhild’s name added, the atmosphere quickly changed. At the very least, everyone should understand that I didn’t make such a claim without any basis.
“Although the influence of the duel with the hero seemed to have the biggest impact.”
Yesterday afternoon, I rented the dueling field and had a fierce duel with Brynhild. As rumors spread, hundreds of spectators flocked to the large stage.
There I had a fight with the hero, wielding a sword in my right hand, a fight that cannot be considered a student-level battle in any sense. By the time the fight ended, everyone looked stunned.
Brynhild and I received similar responses. I ended up winning, but it took much more strength than expected. As for Brynhild, she lost despite her determined fight.
I think the way people looked at me drastically improved after that.
It wasn’t my initial intention, but Brynhild stopped fighting, boiling with excitement, and dived in nearly full-throttle.
There are still some who look at me unfavorably, but those who see my abilities and still act that way will always dislike whatever I do, so I pay no heed to them.
“Do you have anything to do this weekend?”
“Not really. Why?”
The only thing I might have to do would be to stick with Priscilla all day. Aria clapped her hands, seemingly pleased.
“Then won’t you come out with us?”
“Where are you going?”
“There are some things to buy, personal necessities, and books to read. The Academy provides basic things, but they’re not tailored to our specific needs…”
“Ah, they did mention that.”
“Truth be told, they’re really expensive and good, so if this were the old times, I would have used them without any major complaints… but now that I’ve gotten a hefty amount of things, I guess I’ve become a little greedy. Hehe.”
Aria stuck out her tongue slightly and gave a cute smile.
Come to think of it, this Academy hands out a significant amount of money just for enrolling. If you choose to drop out or are expelled, you have to pay it back, but if you graduate normally, you don’t have to.
The additional allowance from my family made no impression since it was an astronomical figure compared to the norm. I had forgotten about receiving such an amount of money, but now I remember.
“It must feel enormously different to them.”
Even though Aria had left for the city early to study, she was born into an ordinary family, as was Brunhilde.
“Alright, when is our meeting time?”
“Let’s meet at the academy’s main entrance at 9 in the morning. Actually, how about inviting senior Agnes too?”
“Agnes the fairy… You want to invite her?”
“Yes, I figured she would like to join too if you were going. Even someone like me who lacks tact can tell that much.”
Without a doubt, the Priscilla I knew would definitely follow. After a moment of hesitation, I nodded my head.
“There’s a place I know nearby. While we’re going out anyway, how about going there?”
“A familiar place? Where─ Ah yes, I remember, Mr. Crate you…”
Aria trailed off, seemingly guessing what I was talking about.
The place I just mentioned was a department store. I remember how shocked I was when I first found out that the Crate family owns a department store. I wondered why there were department stores in a world like this.
“Then there must be a discount for friends, right?”
“Huh?”
At Brunhilde’s words, Aria’s eyes widened. Brunhilde gave me a sly smile. The rapid closeness between us was a ripple effect from yesterday’s hands-on experience.
“Wait, was I the only one who thought of that? Aren’t we friends?”
“Friends…”
Aria stood there dumbfounded until she saw me nodding with a soft chuckle. Her eyes lit up.
“Yes! From now on, I look forward to your help, friend Mr. Crate!”
“Aria… We don’t usually address each other like that.”
“Oh, I’m sorry…I miss the cues sometimes…”
“Sir?!”
Beatrice abruptly stopped everything as she felt her device, stored in an inside pocket, indicating a particular pattern.
There was only one person in the world who could cause her device to emit this pattern. Beatrice cleared her throat, trying to stay calm, and opened her mouth.
“I hope you’ve been well, Sir.”
“Have you been doing well, Beatrice?”
“Of course. What’s the reason for your call?”
There didn’t have to be a reason. He simply missed Beatrice’s voice.
“There’s a department store run by our faction near Bellium Academy, right?”
“Yes.”
“I’m planning to go there with my friends tomorrow. Around 10 o’clock? I want to give them a head’s up, but I don’t know how to contact them.”
Beatrice’s eyes trembled slightly.
“With your friends… I see. Please leave it to me.”
“Thanks, Beatrice.”
“I’m simply doing my job as a maid.”
But they both overlooked one fact.
Mira didn’t realize the impact of his words, and Beatrice didn’t know that Mira was just casually inviting his friends.
Therefore, Beatrice hurriedly called the house steward.
“Why have you called me?”
“I need to see the master right away.”
“Are you referring to the owner?”
“Yes. It’s the young master’s command.”
Upon hearing this, the butler’s expression hardened, mirroring Beatrice’s determined look.
