chapter 12
12 – {Minst Academy, and Reunion} 2
{Minst Academy, and Reunion}
“Oh, my God. Prince William…”
Dean Albert was at a loss with a puzzled expression. As the dean of the Minst Academy, his authority was so strong that even the head of each aristocratic family could not be treated carelessly.
However, the man who appeared just now, William Astin, although a student at Minst Academy, was something that even he, the dean, could not do anything about.
It wasn’t because he had overwhelming force.
It wasn’t even because he was the heir to the most prosperous aristocratic family in the Britannian Empire, duke Artin.
.
A status that gave him so much authority that even his status as the heir to the duke’s family was relegated to a subordinate position.
The fact that he was the hero of the prophecy to save the world gave him, as a student, an authority that even Dean Albert could not treat carelessly.
‘You look embarrassed.’
Yuria knew that this situation was unexpected by Dean Albert. And the words of Dean Albert, who continued her guess, confirmed it.
“Hey, how did you know this place? Prince William.”
“Ah, dean. How many times have I told you to let me know when real international students come? Are you hiding it? I feel dirty, Mr. X.”
As if he was spitting out profanity and showing a teasing attitude, he showed an attitude like this in front of the academy president, not others, but soon turned his gaze back to Yuria.
Then she looked at Yuria’s god above and below her, and at that greedy gaze, Yuria felt a disgusting sensation as if her bugs were crawling through her body.
“Wow~ It’s bitter. They say she’s the most beautiful woman in the Arkansas Empire, and she’s fucking killer. That sucker is so big, and her butt looks so damn plump. It must be fucking delicious.”
It was the first time in her life that Yuria had been insulted like this, so rather than being angry, she was so dumbfounded.
She was born as the eldest daughter of the Duke of Arsane. Even though she was the emperor of the Arcane Empire, she could not throw such an insult at her.
However, William’s behavior of throwing such insults at herself was truly beyond her imagination.
“I’m in a fucking hurry right now. Come quickly, hehehe~ I’ll give you a chance to have a child for the chosen one.”
William stretched out his hand toward Yuria, openly blaspheming her, perhaps blinding her to her infatuation with her.
She believed that Yuria would accept her own offer, and there was no hesitation in his actions.
However, his intention was not successful.
Yuria also took a posture to avoid her, but it was because Theodore, who was ahead of him and blocked Yuria’s way, stopped him by holding his hand.
“Sir X, what is it? What kind of bastard…Uh, uh?”
He stuttered in embarrassment when William, who had lost his temper at being interrupted, saw Theodore’s face.
He was only interested in Yuria and had no interest in other people, but now he saw his face.
“What, what?”
William blinked his eyes several times as if he couldn’t believe his eyes. However, no matter how much I checked, Theodore’s face was straight in front of him.
William muttered blankly at the sight of Theodore exuding a chilly energy.
“Are you a doppelganger?”
Seeing Theodore’s striking resemblance to himself, William muttered that involuntarily, and Theodore retorted.
“That’s wrong, you look like me.”
Having said that, Theodore tightened his hand.
“aaa?!”
William let out a painful scream.
“It’s a reward for daring to speak abusively and indecently to another’s fiancée.”
Theodore glared at William with a trashy gaze and tossed him out screaming in pain.
“This, what?!”
Dean Albert was taken aback by the unexpected situation.
I knew William was an idiot, but I couldn’t have imagined that he would go this far.
Saying such absurd remarks against a princess of a foreign duchy who is not even a native!
Not even anywhere else, it happened right in front of the princess’s fiancé.
“Ahhhhhis the resort!
While William was complaining of pain while wrapping his right hand with his left hand, Theodore’s actions were making him angry again.
‘It’s terrible.’
Yuria truly couldn’t understand how a person could reach that point.
That was at the level of filth in the shape of a human.
She had heard her story about William Astin.
She was the ‘most likely candidate’ for , But she had heard that he, a second-year student at Minst Academy who grew up as an idiot, commits all sorts of atrocities.
But now, that behavior has gone beyond the level of madness.
It wasn’t even a low-class bastard living in the lowest class, and Yuria’s common sense couldn’t understand how she could behave like that even after doing such a thing to a foreign princess.
She even said that she herself was not alone, and her fiancé, Theodore, was by her side.
“Do you know who you are?”
Theodore snorted as he slowly walked forward, step by step.
Even though he was simply walking, his gait seemed to show the decisive difference between William and him, as if he were imbued with the intimidation and arrogance of a predator.
Unlike William, who has a similar appearance but is just a spoiled brat, Theodore, who is unluckily arrogant but has abilities to match, is so out of place that it is a pity to compare him.
“I don’t need to know you because I’m shining brighter than anyone else. I don’t think filth on the streets like you is worth my concern.”
“This, you bastard! Do you think you’ll be all right? I’m the chosen one! I’m the chosen one! If it’s not me, this world will perish! But you don’t know how to be thankful!”
* * *
He was William, who was losing his temper by asserting that he was the chosen one, but he did not dare to attack first because he had just felt Theodore’s power.
At least, it was proof that he was intelligent enough to know that the fist he was about to attack was close.
‘I thought about it, but it’s uglier than expected.’
And the behavior of the Britannia Empire, which believed and relied on this guy as the chosen one, was ridiculous.
‘Even after 10 years, that guy hasn’t changed.’
It wasn’t obvious since he was young, but Theodore had roughly guessed that William would grow up to be such an idiot.
And while he hadn’t yet thought of revealing his identity to the Duke of Artin and the Britannian Empire, it was concluded that there would be no problem even if he lightly revealed his identity in front of such an idiot.
‘The way that filth will look is as obvious as seeing a shadow under the bright sun.’
Theodore snapped his fingers.
Then he stopped everything except him and William.
Everyone in this room… Many wizards, Dean Albert, and even Yuria stopped.
No, it didn’t stop.
Time was passing very slowly.
It was only because the time was passing slowly at less than 1/1000 that it seemed to have stopped.
“What, what?”
However, William was terrified when the world suddenly stopped.
“It’s been a while, William.”
Theodore took off the mask he had been wearing for 10 years and smiled coldly.
“Isn’t it funny how you’re hitting the bottom and showing me what the end of the filth is while I’m growing into a special being that’s like the center of the world?”
William stared blankly at Theodore’s words.
He too now realized who caused this terrifying phenomenon.
“How did it feel to dance like a marionette in false glory? My hateful twin brother.”
William’s complexion slowly turned pale at Theodore’s words.
“Wait, can’t it?”
William, realizing who he was from Theodore’s words, trembled.
“Poem, Theodore?”
His voice trembled as he called the name of his long-lost twin brother, and Theodore said to him.
“If you look at my strength, you’ll understand? The real chosen one was me, not you. The special human being chosen to save the world was me, not filth like you.”
“Ooh, don’t be ridiculous! That, there’s no way! You just didn’t even know you existed… You were just a human you didn’t need! My, I’m the chosen one! I’m the chosen one!”
William screamed out in a fit of fear that the only reason for his actions might disappear.
However, Theodore coldly laughed at his outburst and said,
“It’s funny how human beings fall to the ground. I won’t reveal who I am for a while, so tremble in false fear alone. Even if I don’t step out, your lies will eventually be exposed.”
After Theodore finished his words, the slow-flowing time returned to its original speed.
“Uhhhhh!!!”
William turned and began to run away hastily.
