Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Journey to Earth
After weeks of honing his abilities on Namek, Kaidan felt an itch for new challenges. The serene planet had offered him wisdom, power, and purpose, but now it was time to step into the larger universe. His ship, upgraded with Namekian technology, hummed to life.
As he set a course for Earth, he couldn't shake the feeling that this world held something or someone significant.
Earth: A Strange New World
The dense forests of Mount Paozu were peaceful, the chirping of birds blending harmoniously with the rustling of leaves. Kaidan's ship descended, its sleek frame casting a shadow over the trees. As the hatch opened, Kaidan stepped out, his emerald eyes scanning the surroundings.
"This is Earth," he muttered, feeling the planet's vibrant energy. "Let's see what it has to offer."
Nearby, a young boy with a spiky tail darted through the forest, chasing after a large fish. The boy, Goku, stopped abruptly when he spotted the imposing figure emerging from the strange craft.
"Hey! Who are you?" Goku asked, his voice filled with curiosity rather than fear.
Kaidan turned, his gaze falling on the boy. The tail caught his attention immediately. "You're a Saiyan?"
Goku tilted his head. "Saiyan? What's that? I'm Goku!"
Kaidan raised an eyebrow. This boy had no idea who or what he was. "Goku, huh? You've got a lot to learn about yourself."
The Meeting of Goku and Bulma
Elsewhere, a blue-haired teenager named Bulma drove through the wilderness in her Capsule Corp vehicle, her Dragon Radar in hand. The beeping device indicated a Dragon Ball nearby.
"Finally! The next one is close!" she said excitedly.
As she neared the forest, she spotted a boy dragging a massive fish. "What the—?" Bulma muttered, pulling over.
"Hey, kid!" she called out.
Goku stopped, looking at the strange contraption. "What is that thing?"
"It's a car," Bulma replied, stepping out. "And who are you?"
"I'm Goku. Who are you?"
"Bulma. I'm looking for something called a Dragon Ball. Have you seen anything like this?" She held up the radar.
Goku scratched his head. "I think my grandpa left me something like that."
Bulma's eyes lit up. "Really? Can I see it?"
Kaidan's Observation
From a distance, Kaidan watched the interaction unfold. He could sense the peculiar bond forming between the two, though he didn't fully understand it. As he approached, Bulma and Goku turned to face him.
"Whoa!" Bulma exclaimed, taking a step back. "Who's the tall, handsome guy?"
Kaidan smirked. "Just someone passing through. You mentioned Dragon Balls?"
Bulma nodded cautiously. "Yeah. You know about them?"
"I've heard of them," Kaidan replied. "I might be able to help you find them. But first, I want to see what this world's warriors are made of."
Bulma crossed her arms. "Warriors? You mean like Goku?"
Kaidan glanced at Goku, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Sure. Let's start with him."
A Saiyan's Spar
"Fight me," Kaidan said to Goku.
Goku blinked. "You want to fight? Okay!"
Bulma stepped back as the two Saiyans squared off. Kaidan deliberately suppressed his power, giving Goku a fighting chance.
The boy launched forward, his movements swift but unrefined. Kaidan effortlessly dodged, his hands behind his back. "Not bad for a kid," he teased.
Goku grinned. "I'm just getting started!"
The spar continued, with Kaidan offering advice as they exchanged blows. By the end, Goku was panting but smiling.
"You're really strong!" Goku said, wiping sweat from his forehead.
Kaidan nodded. "And you've got potential. I'll stick around for a while. Let's see if this Earth has any other surprises."
With Kaidan joining Bulma and Goku, the trio set off on their adventure to find the Dragon Balls. For Kaidan, it was a chance to understand the world and its people. For Earth, it was the beginning of a saga that would change its fate forever.
