Chapter 21: chapter 21
Tiana's POV:
I sat in the break room, sipping on a cup of coffee and talking to Rubby. Our conversation turned to Eliana and Royalty, and my expression darkened.
"Ugh, I hate those two," I spat. "They think they're so much better than us."
Rubby nodded in agreement. "I know, right? They're always so smug and self-righteous."
I leaned in, my voice dropping to a whisper. "And you know what really gets my goat? Elvis and Xavier slept with them instead of us."
Rubby's eyes flashed with anger. "I know, it's like they were stolen from us. We had planned everything so perfectly, and then those two came along and ruined everything."
I clenched my fists, feeling a surge of hatred towards Eliana and Royalty. "We'll get our revenge, Rubby. Mark my words."
Rubby smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "Oh, I'm counting on it, Tiana."
Rubby's POV:
I listened as Tiana vented about Eliana and Royalty, my own anger and resentment simmering just below the surface.
"I hate them," Tiana spat. "They're always so perfect and poised."
I nodded in agreement. "I know, it's nauseating. And to think that Elvis and Xavier slept with them instead of us."
My eyes narrowed as I thought about that night. We had planned everything so carefully, drugging Elvis and Xavier's drinks to ensure that they would sleep with us. But somehow, Eliana and Royalty had managed to ruin everything.
I felt a surge of anger towards them, and I knew that I would stop at nothing to get my revenge.
Eliana's POV:
I sat at my desk, typing away on my computer as I worked on the latest marketing campaign. Royalty was sitting across from me, chatting with a client on the phone.
As I worked, I couldn't help but think about the events of the past few days. The incident at the restaurant, the one-night stand with Xavier... it was all still so fresh in my mind.
But as I glanced over at Royalty, I felt a sense of gratitude. She had been a rock for me throughout all of this, offering me advice and support whenever I needed it.
I smiled to myself as I thought about our conversation the night before. We had been laughing and joking around, and for a moment, I had forgotten all about my troubles.
Royalty's POV:
I hung up the phone and turned to Eliana, who was typing away on her computer. "Hey, girl. How's it going?"
Eliana looked up and smiled. "It's going. Just trying to get this campaign finished up."
I nodded sympathetically. "I feel you. I've got a ton of work to do today too."
As we worked, I couldn't help but think about Elvis. I had been trying to push him out of my mind, but it was hard. I had felt a real connection with him, and I couldn't help but wonder what could have been.
But as I glanced over at Eliana, I knew that I had to focus on the present. We had a lot of work to do, and I wasn't going to let my feelings for Elvis get in the way.
