Chapter 363: Chapter 361: Pregnant with Your Child?!

Sui and Rindō walked out of the school building and found a grassy hillside where they sat down.

"I want grapes!" Rindō demanded, her small pointed canine teeth gleaming in the sunlight.

"There aren't any left," Sui replied bluntly. He had set aside the remaining skewer of grapes for Alice—one each for the three girls.

"Stingy! Kohai, don't you know men shouldn't be so stingy?" Rindō chided, playfully patting his shoulder.

Sui sighed and asked, "By the way, Rindō-senpai, how did you even know there were grapes?"

"I asked Erina. Why, though? Why does Erina get to have grapes, but I don't? Aren't I your woman too?" she retorted, twisting Sui's ear in mock anger.

Sui shot her a sidelong glance. Since when did this girl become 'his' woman?

"Rindō-senpai, I don't think our relationship is quite like that," he responded flatly.

"Girlfriends and senpais deserve the same treatment," Rindō declared confidently.

Sui found himself speechless yet again.

After a brief pause, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bag of coral candies. Handing it to her, he said, "I don't have grapes, but here's some candy."

Yesterday, Tohru and Kanna had devoured a pound of the coral candies like peanuts, so Sui had bought more.

"If this is just ordinary candy, don't think you can bribe me so easily!" Rindō remarked, tossing one into her mouth. Her eyes instantly lit up. "Wow, this is delicious! Is it natural? It doesn't taste artificial at all."

Sui stared at her in surprise. Aside from Erina, Rindō was the first person to discern that the candy was made from natural ingredients. As expected of her.

"The sweetness is mild and elegant, and the flavor is as rich as the finest honey. This is a truly premium natural ingredient," she added, popping another candy into her mouth. "If you melted this candy, you could use it as a sweetener—definitely better than the best sugars. And it's crunchy too, perfect for eating as-is."

Sui's eyes lit up at her observation. He hadn't considered that coral candy could have practical culinary uses beyond just being a snack. It could potentially be more valuable than the Dia Grapes, especially since sugar is a staple ingredient in many desserts—and this candy wasn't even that expensive.

After sitting in silence for a while, Sui asked, "senpai, can I go now?"

"Stay with me a bit longer," Rindō murmured, resting her head on his shoulder and casually popping candies into her mouth, making a crisp chewing sound.

From a distance, they could easily be mistaken for a couple, sharing a peaceful moment.

"Hey, Rindō-senpai, have you had any... unusual visitors recently?" Sui hesitated before asking. He was trying to confirm whether Rindō had been approached by Azami.

After all, aside from Rindō, Sui's relationship with the other elite students was mostly casual. He couldn't ask something so sensitive without tact.

"Oh, you mean Azami? Erina's father? Your future father-in-law?" Rindō replied nonchalantly.

Sui was caught off guard by her straightforwardness. He had intended to ask subtly, but Rindō seemed to have no reservations about the subject.

"What did he want from you?" Sui asked, his curiosity piqued.

"That guy gave me a bunch of rare ingredients and asked me to support him in becoming the commander-in-chief. He rambled on about other stuff, but I was mostly focused on the food," she said dismissively.

"Did you agree?" Sui asked cautiously.

"Of course not! I already ate all his ingredients," Rindō replied, completely unfazed.

Sui couldn't help but imagine Azami's likely reaction—probably not a pleasant one.

"You know, I've always been good at freeloading," Rindō said proudly.

Sui rolled his eyes. "You're well aware you've been freeloading, huh?"

Rindō grinned and, without warning, pulled Sui's head under her arm, playfully squeezing it. "Are you looking down on me, Kohai?" she asked, feigning annoyance.

Once again, Sui found himself in a rather intimate and awkward position with Rindō, feeling the fullness of her bosom firsthand.

"Oh, before he left, that guy did ask me not to tell anyone about our meeting," Rindō added, almost as an afterthought.

Sui raised an eyebrow. "Then why are you telling me?"

"I never promised him I wouldn't," she replied with a playful smirk, sticking out her tongue.

"Why not tell the commander-in-chief then?" Sui pressed.

"These are all family matters for the Nakiri. Who becomes commander doesn't concern me. Besides, I'm graduating soon," Rindō said, a candy bulging in her cheek as she rested her chin on her hand, gazing into the distance.

"Fair enough," Sui replied, recalling how he had already discreetly warned Senzaemon about the situation. He trusted the old man knew how to handle it.

After a brief pause, Sui asked, "So, what are your plans after graduation, Rindō-senpai?"

"After graduation? Hmm... maybe I'll explore the world," she mused, her golden eyes sparkling as she looked off into the horizon.

The two sat quietly for a while, enjoying the peaceful moment.

Suddenly, Rindō broke the silence. "Hey, do you remember what happened at the last school festival?"

Before Sui could answer, Rindō leaned in and pressed her lips against his.

A wave of sweetness filled Sui's mouth, accompanied by the lingering taste of the coral candy.

After what felt like an eternity, Rindō pulled away, her cheeks flushed but her expression mischievous. "How was that? Sweet, right? senpai's kisses are something special," she teased with a grin.

Sui was momentarily speechless. The candy had indeed made the kiss unexpectedly sweet.

"Rindō-senpai, if you keep this up, you'll have to take responsibility for me," he joked half-seriously.

Rindō laughed, flipping her hair dramatically. "Sorry, but your senpai isn't going to take responsibility for you."

When Sui returned to the mansion, Erina was already there. As soon as she saw him, she hurried over and knelt by the door, gracefully helping him change his shoes.

Afterward, she hesitated for a moment before nervously asking, "Sui?"

"Hm?" he responded, looking at her curiously.

"Is Rindō-senpai... pregnant with your child?" Erina bit her lip, her voice trembling slightly as she finally summoned the courage to ask.
