This was the fourth volume of the book, so some of the contents were hard to understand because Rein was missing the information written in the previous volumes but still he was able to at least understand what this book was about.

And after analysing it with his Eye of Truth, he was actually extremely surprised. That was because the grade of this book was extremely high. This book was an artifact that even a rank 5 mage like him could use to boost his power. Not only that but all the volumes of the books could gather together to create a super strong artifact that could even be useful for a magus.

But that was not something Rein needed to worry about for the time being as according to his analysis, this series should have a total of 13 volumes and all of those volumes needed to gather together in order to manifest the magus level artifact. And this city had at most only 4 volumes.

After retrieving the book from this area, Rein did not waste any time and raided the other area. After knowing the value of the books, he was unwilling to waste any more time.

The raids were relatively well. Only the third location that he attacked had a higher security with the presence of a rank 2 mage. But for Rein handling a rank 2 mage was not much different from handling a rank 1 mage so everything was fine at the end.

After raiding all the locations, Rein was pleasantly surprised to find not there but four of the volumes. They were volume VIII, XI, III and VI. So now with the IV volume he had found in the first location, Rein now had five of the volumes.

As for the reason why Rein was sensing only four sources of evil aura even though there were five of the books, that was because the book XI was still not activated and was in a dormant state. In this state this book was not releasing any kind of mana.

After retrieving all the dangerous books, Rein finally started the interrogation. The rank 2 mage he had found in the third base was the strongest individual he had seen so far. So Rein guessed that he would have a decent amount of information. So he wake him up after binding him thoroughly.

The man was not very cooperative at first but that was nothing which could not be solved with a little bit of beating. After getting properly beaten up, he confessed like a good little boy and told Rein everything.

According to him, what his organisation was going to do was not a surprise. All the members of the organisation knew about it. So it was not like he had any special information that the others were not aware of.

As for what their objective was, it was simple. They wanted to use the power of the book to sacrifice this whole city and turn all the inhabitants of the city into undead puppets for them to control. Their main target was the two rank 3 mages of the city.

So from what Rein heard, it looked like the second rank 3 mage that he had sensed was not working with this organisation as he was also a target. As for what this organisation was, it was made out of many criminals who could not live in the light for a reason or another. So they joined this organisation to do criminal tasks around the world.

Their organisation was not small but even the strongest person they had was only a rank 2 mage. The person who was getting interrogated by Rein was also a former criminal who was excommunicate from the mage society for doing dangerous experiments.

Their lack of a rank 3 mage was the reason why this city was still safe. They had found these five books by a complete coincidence. They still had no idea about the real power of the books. But they knew that it was quite powerful. So they were planning to use the power of the book to kill the rank 3 mages of the city to turn to them not their puppets. After that with two rank 3 mages, they would have a very easy time settling down in other cities.

After learning all this information, Rein next started to ask him about the other rank 2 mages of the organisation. The man said that the other mages had gone to a special area to activate another one of the books. So it turned out that in total this organisation had managed to collect six of the books which was without a doubt a big deal. They had managed to find almost half of the needed books.

Rein then asked the man about the location of where they went and after getting that information and making sure that it was the truth with his truth affinity, he knocked out the man again and went to the special area where the other rank 2 mages and the last book was.

As Rein was busy saving the town while continuing to find powerful artifacts, Lopas and Luna were relaxing in the count's house. Even though Luna was their family member, at the end of the day, she was still a royal and had a higher status than even the head of the count family. As for Lopas she was the only daughter of the super powerful Leonance family, so her status was even higher than Luna's.

Not only that but these ladies were here to bring medicine for their family. The child who was sick had actually already awakened so he was most probably going to be the next head of the family. So by saving him, the ladies were actually saving the future of the Dansi family.

But the ladies were not just relaxing. Before going to collect the last book, Rein had sent all the other books to the ladies through a spatial portal. So now the ladies were reading the book while trying to make sense. All the books were not in proper order, they were extremely hard to understand. But with Lopas' special skill and Luna's high intelligence, they were still making decent progress.

So just like that not only Rein but his two little lovers were also busy with work.
