Chapter 7: CHAPTER 7: Fateful meeting
Under Leon's orders, each of the thieves took their own lives.
This is the curse that C.C. planted on Leon in the past, a power called Geass.
The GEASS of absolute obedience.
Able to dominate other people's thoughts.
The power to make anyone obey absolutely.
"What a convenient and frightening power. I'm so glad I didn't let you go. If you spread this power everywhere, the world would definitely be in chaos."
Leon touched his left eye and looked at the green-haired witch not far away. However, he saw the witch shaking her green hair and smiling.
"Don't worry, I will stay by your side. After all, we have a contract. I won't leave you until you fulfill my wish."
"Hmph~ Just wait, witch."
Leon snorted. In exchange for obtaining Geass, he signed a contract to fulfill one of the witch's wishes.
C.C. will not leave him until the contract is fulfilled, but if it is judged that it cannot be fulfilled, the witch will leave decisively.
"Forget it, but now you're here to help. These thieves have won a lot, I can't take them all."
"Huh? You want to take advantage of others?"
C.C. asked in confusion and saw that Leon had already jumped into the thieves' carriage, where he was counting and collecting the thieves' belongings.
The witch thought he wanted to keep them for himself. After all, in her memory, Leon really spent money very generously.
However, the Prince rolled his eyes.
"Idiot, how could I do such a thing? I'll feel dirty if I spend these ill-gotten gains. Even if you give them to me, I don't want them."
"So what are you going to do?"
You can't just leave it on the side of the road, right?
"You can deal with this however you want, just throw him in some orphanage later."
Leon said casually, but it was obviously not the first time he "threw everything away" like that.
"..."
C.C. raised her eyebrows, okay, she takes back what she said before, this person will probably be a principled tyrant in the future.
Thieves are hedonists and immediately spend their money to have fun. Leon has no interest in taking money from these scoundrels.
But sometimes he finds some really good works of art that he doesn't mind collecting.
What is more.
Every now and then he finds something interesting.
"Huh? A cage? Is it a slave?"
Leon found a cage in the carriage.
The cage was covered with cloth, and painful screams were coming out of it. Slavery existed in this world, and he thought to himself that he would let him go free later.
However, when Leon pulled back the cloth and prepared to destroy the cage.
"Ah, this is really unexpected."
His expression was a little surprised.
What was locked in the cage was not a slave, but a twisted piece of meat. Although he still maintained his human form for now, he only maintained his form.
Furthermore, this piece of meat also has enormous magical power, but the magical power was completely out of control.
Same as the description in the forbidden book.
"Is this [Demonic Possession]? I didn't expect that the book I just read today would lead me to meet you. Sure enough, I'm very lucky."
Leon raised the corners of his lips happily.
He raised his hand to touch the piece of meat in front of him, as if to comfort him.
"What a fateful encounter. Don't worry, I will definitely save you."
"Leon, what do you want to do?"
"I didn't just say C.C., I decided to save her. A hero's son shouldn't be treated like that, right?"
"Are you serious?"
The witch frowned slightly.
It's not that no one has tried to save [Demonic Possession] in the past, but everyone has failed without exception. Not even the strongest recovery magic can restore it to its original state.
"I'll definitely save her. Just because others can't, doesn't mean I can't."
"You're still as arrogant as ever. So I'll wait and see. I hope you can create a miracle."
The witch crossed her arms. Although she said this, her face was filled with disbelief.
"Hmph~ It's just a miracle. This will be easy for me. C.C. Just watch."
Leon said confidently.
The green-haired witch shrugged. Ever since the two of them met, he had always been so confident, as if there was nothing he couldn't do in the world.
At the same time, the piece of meat also looked at Leon. Although his body was like this, his eyes were still intact.
In those eyes filled with pain and despair, there was a glimmer of hope at that moment.
It was as if he was saying.
[Please save me.]
-------
A week later.
"Phew~ It's finally done."
A week later, Leon tried countless methods and finally managed to suppress the out-of-control magical power and return her to her original appearance.
To be honest, he wanted to complain.
No wonder no one was able to save these victims of [Demonic Possession] for so many years. The medical level in this world is really terribly low!
They use healing magic for everything.
Do you have a cold?
A healing spell.
Injured?
A healing spell.
Broken arms and legs?
A healing spell.
This is simply outrageous!
As an exceptional young man in the 21st century, Leon really couldn't bear it. Medicine is obviously deep and sophisticated knowledge.
But the healing magic in this world is not omnipotent. It can only heal wounds.
No wonder the death rate is so high.
Leon: "The medical treatment is really amazing... Ah~ I'm in a world of swords and magic. Pursuing science seems so empty."
And then the most surprising thing is.
After [Demonic Possession] was removed, the ugly and rotten piece of flesh turned into a beautiful elf!
