The Entity of Contradictions

 Sonia felt her common sense breaking at this moment, first was her extremely attractive master having no confidence in his looks. Ok, this might be understandable as he probably never had a relationship in the past and is unaware of his allure. But SERIOUSLY, subjugating Gaia and having her being so submissive, does not make any sense. She saw that Gaia was truly afraid of Marco with her master simply threatening her, she doubted the stories she heard in the past where she was actively against Erebus used poisonous tactics to kill Nyx.

 For the ignorant the beings she actively fights are primordial gods, they are all extremely dangerous as essentially started their respective pantheons. The mere effort of creating a pantheon requires a ludicrous amount of energy, and just the primordial gods alone accomplished that impossible feat. Seeing Gaia behaving like this was just surreal. She was highly suspicious that she was having a lucid dream.

 This thought stems from the ridiculous situation she found herself witnessing. Rubbing her temples she just groaned, Marco misinterpreted this simple action. He assumed that Gaia was trying to pull something funny, power started to flow out of him, his eyes sucking in all light that tried to enter the abyss. He threatened Gaia again, his face started to darken into something unknown voice neutral and ancient "I dare you to continue Gaia" These simple words sent chills down everyone in the vicinity. Everyone in town shuddered as they felt an awful foreboding.

 Tears rolled down Gaia's eyes and sobbing she stuttered "I'm not doing anything, please believe me." She was mentally breaking down, she could not look into whatever that was as she felt her heart squeeze. Sonia realised that this was her fault as she tried to stop Marco "Master I'm fine, don't worry she is not trying to harm me."

 Sonia grabbed Marco's shoulders and repeated. As she did the power Marco emanated calmed down and receded. Seeing Marco calm down she mentally noted that she needed to be careful of the actions and words the people around Marco used. She assessed at this moment that he was a very rash person and would attack anything.

 Little did she know that Marco was just trying to take care of the maid. Seeing her reminded him of his dead sister, the way she acted and reacted was very reminiscent of her. So, when she had a bad reaction, he assumed Gaia tried to harm her and he overreacted. As if an older brother just saw his younger sister getting bullied, he stepped in to destroy the bully. To him this simple action was just brought upon by Gaia as she tried to harm Sonia so when he found out that the woman did not try to harm Sonia, he apologised.

 "Gaia I'm sorry for my actions and words, I assumed you tried to hurt Sonia" Marco stated emotionlessly, this simple action shocked the two again as someone with as much power as him would never admit to their mistake. The arrogant beings they knew would rather go to war than admit their faults. Seeing the situation calmed down Sonia hurriedly continued "Master I came to check your safety as ordered by Madam Diya. Now can I ask why Gaia is here?"

 Marco hearing Sonia's words just rubbed his chin, "I am aware of the first part but regarding why she is here, I have honestly no clue". Sonia just looked wordlessly at Marco, feeling her judgemental gaze, he looked away awkwardly. After a few minutes of awkward silence, he looked at Gaia just huddling in a corner and asked "Can you tell us why you attacked me out of nowhere?"
