The Frozen Hell

"what the hell are you doing"

I screamed as i rushed foreward to the northern side of the shelter. The sight i just caight a glimpse of was hard to digest. Never in a million years I would have thought i'd see Rosa hurt her little brother. Rosa who'd never even hurt a fly was now holding her brother's neck. 

It was only for a second but i knew it was Rosa. I ran foreward as the panic among people rose, stampede occurred. People were running away in masses, children were being brutally crushed. Some were crying helplessly near the corpse of thier parents. The blood from the bursted bodies scattered into air filling the room with a crimson hue.

 I was standing there helplessly while again scanning my surrounding. It was only for a brief moment but i caught again caught glimpse of Luke among masses and confirmed his presence at Northen gate, which coincidentally was the epicenter of this entire chaos. I took a step forward when suddenly an explosion seemingly out of nowhere occured behind me, rendering me unbalanced but unharmed. As i looked behind various body parts along with blood were flying across the room. My eyes trembled while witnessing this horrific sight. I turned away and started running at full speed. As i rushed forward, frequency of explosion became more often.

I rushed towards the northern side when suddenly huge flash of light blinded me along with heat and force that threw me back several feets away. Maybe it was due to my luck or my past that i survived first explosion and ran forward. I kept running as explosion near the epicenter became more and more frequent. I was caught in several of them but despite having a broken shoulder, 4 ruptured ribs, burnt marks all over my body I didn't give up. As my legs finally gave up I crawled towards the northe gate. The sight before me was a horror beyond what i could imagine. I immediately puked. The mountain of corpses before me was a sight i could not tolerate. Ny eyes trembled, my body shaking continuosly.

 Judging by the way the bodies are arranged, dismutilated and chewed,, I could not even imagine anything like that. But It was at that moment when my vision struck something atop of that mountain. I saw a blonde haired boy whose blond hair were now dyed in a colour of crimson red and blood leaking from all over his body from his wounds. Luke, I found him but I couldn't see Rosa anywhere and why was Luke kneeling on top of this corpses mountain? Suddenly my vision blurred and I blacked out for a second but within a blink of an eye Luke was nowhere to be seen.

Gathering every last bit of my strength I climb that disgusting mountain of flesh and reach the top. Luke was there laying with his body half chewed like piece of bubblegum and blood gushing out like a mountain. I feel his weak pulse.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE? LUKE? LUKE? WHERE'S ROSA" I screamed as i held his soon to be liveless body in my hand. I could see him opening his mouth. 

"B-"

"What are you trying to tell me, LUKE" I yelled again as tears running down my eyes started falling on his face. He again tried opening his mouth but this time he said a word.

"B- Be- Behind.."

My soul left my body as a cold sensation creeped upon me. I wanted to look behind but my body refused to look behind. I was frozen from instinctive fear. I knew i would die if i looked behind. A cold sensation touched my throat as if a snake had climbed on it. I could feel blood coming upto my mouth. My eyes started crying tears of blood. My ears suddenly ruptured as i fell to the ground. I manage to turn behind me before falling to see the one responsible for this. It was what I saw just before my eyes closed that I finally gave in to my fears and I screamed from top of my lungs. The person I cherished the most.
