The Grim Fate of Those Who Arouse the Wrath of the Most Dreaded Marquis

Chapter 89

Chapter 89: The End of Part Two

Thank you so much for reading this far into 『』.

I believe that being able to successfully conclude Part Two, the “Gildolq Kingdom Turmoil Arc,” today is all thanks to you, the readers.

I would especially like to express my deepest gratitude to those who took the time to write reviews and share their thoughts. Your feedback is an incredible source of energy for me as the author. While some of the opinions were harsh, they also gave me a lot to think about.

That said, those of you who have read this far seem to have a pretty good understanding of Giorg and Jilvol’s perspectives, and your insights have been spot-on.

To those I replied to with “Great analysis!”, I kept my responses vague to avoid spoilers, but internally, I was screaming, “Ahhh, they’ve figured it out!!”

Honestly, I’m not entirely confident that the finale of Part Two fully satisfied everyone. Jilvol, as a character, is someone who’s too busy dismantling the old system to delegate his responsibilities to his younger brother, which might have made things feel a bit roundabout.

Also, many of you pointed out that Giorg and Jilvol’s names are too similar and confusing. All I can say is, I’m really sorry about that. Please bear with me.

As a behind-the-scenes tidbit, Jilvol was originally the protagonist of a different story. The events in the Gildolq Kingdom were almost exactly the same as what happened in Part Two of this work.

However, in that world, Giorg didn’t exist, so it was a completely one-sided affair… Because of that, the story felt a bit shallow, so I decided to incorporate it into Part Two of this series, which features the “Most Vicious Marquis.”

When I received feedback saying, “It feels like there are two protagonists,” I thought, “This person is sharp!”

After rambling on for a while, let me share some updates about what’s coming next.

Part Three is currently in the planning stages.

Since this story would fall apart if I wrote it on the fly, proper preparation is necessary. So, I kindly ask for your patience as I work on releasing Part Three.

That said, Part Three won’t suddenly jump ten years into the future. Since Part Two took us abruptly to a foreign country, I’m planning for Part Three to focus on events happening within the kingdom.

Thank you so much for reading up to Part Two.

I’ll do my best to deliver Part Three, and I hope you’ll continue to support me then.
