The Legend of Carmine

Princess Carmine as General Armine set for the border. At this point, Carmine looked like a young man in her general armor. The border between Ouran and Lapen was called Shar. Armine's decision to hide her identity as a woman was because she did not want to shatter the confidence of her soldiers at this crucial hour. As she knew that the news of replacement of great general by a female general would have severely damaged their fighting spirits.

So, Armine and Lex rushed to Shar. When they reach there it was clear that Ouran had mobilized its army to the border. Armine noticed that along with the mobilization of the soldiers they had a highly guarded area, where they appeared to build a structure near to the border. This gave a bad feeling to Armine. After evaluating everything Armine realized that if she waited for Ouran to complete the structure and attack then they will certainly lose because it cannot be just a simple building, to be built near the battlefield.

So, as per Lapen tradition, she sends for peace message to the general of Ouran stating that the Lapen will not start a war if Ouran is just mobilizing their soldier and not planning for any war. But if it is not like that then, the war will begin on the third day. Furthermore, as per the old tradition of war, they would stop fighting every evening if unable to find the winner, for the funeral of the dead soldier and treat the wounded ones, to respect the dead.

This message was delivered to the general of Ouran named Nade, who was a man in his mid 30, with a small built but one could feel in his presence the coldness of his nature. Upon hearing the message he gave a sly smile and just took his sword and plunge it through the heart of the messenger. The messenger body lay dead in front of the General. Then, Nade ordered his soldier to leave the body in front of Lapen camp.

When Armine saw the dead body she knew the answer that they wanted a war but to kill someone, who is innocent, only displayed the cruelty of the general.

So, Armine started to prepare for the battle. But, she knew that battling them head-on could lead to their defeat. Because of the reaction of Ouran's general. When he sent the dead body of the peace messenger, it only showed his overconfidence in his victory.

Armine called Lex and their 2 elite soldiers named Ky and Reji. Armine instructed Ky and Reji to stay low in battle and just act dead after the sunset and when both sides will be busy with the transfer of the dead body. She instructed them to change into Ouran soldier uniform and find out what they are safeguarding.

On the day of battle, it was a ferocious battle with both sides getting equal casualties. But the winner was undetermined. So, as per the plan, Ky and Reji acted dead and when no one was around changed into dead Ouran soldiers' uniform. So, Ky and Reji, who were now acting as dead Ouran soldiers were carried inside the guarded area with other dead bodies and severely injured soldiers. This was shocking to Ky and Reji as the corpse were not brunt but was left in heaps. And severely injured soldiers, with no fighting capability were lock in the cells. This was shocking to Ky and Reji. So, when everyone was asleep they went to investigate the area. What ky and Reji saw shocked then, they found dead animals with pink dust on their dead body and their body appeared to have severe sunburnt and appeared to die due to severe dehydration. Finally, they reached a tent and they heard someone talking.

General Nade, "It is almost ready. These are a few samples I created according to your instruction this will be effected in human as well". We can experiment on those people in cell and after that, we only need to find a way to kill people in mass using it."

General Nade replied, "I knew my creation is the best, when it is perfected it will bring the great Norand in its knee. And this tiny Lapen will just be a speck of dust for us to conquer. My dream is coming true, I wanted to build my experimentation lab here so once we conquer Lapen it will easy to transport my deadly pixie powder from here to attack Norand.

Ky and Reji heard all of this and knew that this needed to be informed to the Armine.

According to the plan of Armine, they would have disguised as Ouran soldiers and come to the battlefield to report it. As Ky and Reji were about to leave they were caught by Nade's arm of aid Xan. Ky and Reji could not run because if everyone came after them it would be impossible to survive so they decided to went with the flow. When Xan saw them he was already suspicious. So, he invited them inside the tent. Nade understood something was not right and asked Ky and Reji, " Are you new here, and do you guys not know the area that you are posted to guard." Ky and Reji thought that they have not caught the truth yet and replied yes.

Nade and Xan knew that they did not take any new recruitment for this place because of its secrecy. Nade decided to play with them and said, "Since you are new recruitments please show me the iron burnt mark in left hands as that of Xan." However, Xan had got that injury and it was not part of recruitment. Since both of them showed their forearm and it did not have any mark. Nade instructed Xan to get a hot iron to be stamped on their arm.

Ky and Reji determine to get through this and to report to Armine. To prove they are newly recruited Ouran soldiers, they were ready to get the stamp. As Nade was getting ready to stamp the iron he gave a sly smile and said, "I know you are not Ouran soldiers, I also know who you work for. Join me in my journey to conquer Lapen and Norand and I will forgive your tardiness."

Reji who always had short-tempered and had enough of it. When he heard to betray his nation he replied, " We will never betray our nation even if you kill us."

Nade shook his head saying, "The wrong answer." Then dumped him in the pixie storage. When Reji was dumped in pink dust he could see his entire skin got red and his body shrunk like his entire body was getting dehydrated.

Nade then turned to Ky and said I love how my creation is getting better. As he was indicating for him to throw in it. Ky jumped to Nade's feet and said "He had committed a crime and now he realizes that there is no one superior to Ouran. And he wishes to serve only the greatest."
