The Legendary Emperor King

Chapter 5: Chapter 4 - God's Gambit

Black Star Condominium…

 Mansion A, garden…

- Grey (bursts into the room, his uniform disheveled, eyes wide with urgency)

- Sir. A (sitting at the table, engrossed in his newspaper, seemingly unfazed by the intrusion)

- Grey (sits down): Mr. A! Today you don't escape me, let's get straight to the point! (voice cracked)

- Sir. A (startled, dropped his teacup): My God boy! When did you get here?! (folds the newspaper, clears his throat): How are you? Arrived early today…

- Grey (annoyed, looks fixedly at him): Old man, don't be polite to me, tell me the story!

- Sir. A (chuckled): I see that I left you anxious, where did we stop? (looks at Grey): Aham yes, in Arthur's question...

The atmosphere was tense, Hera knew that Brunhilde's life depended on the answer she would give now...

- Arthur (sitting in a chair in front of her, leaned forward): Who killed queen Cassandra?

- Brunhilde (laughing heartily): Finally…!

Meanwhile, in the observation room, Selena and a doctor approached Alexia's body. They gasped, the transformation was complete. Her golden hair, her features, everything had changed. And on the island, more precisely in the palace, the queen began to notice the absence of amazons, the ancient ones disappearing, they did not return to the island. More than 2 million amazons had not yet returned, and the reproduction period was about to close, so...

- Grey (annoyed, crosses his arms): Mr. A, tell me the part of the questions...

- Sir. A (laughing): Okay Grey, there's no need to get angry...

Back in the interrogation room, Brunhilde's laughter echoed…

- Brunhilde (laughing): You're really stupid, who do you think it was?

In the observation room…

- Princess Hera (worried, seeing Arthur torture her) "The way things are going, he can end up killing her…"

- One of the agents (seeing everything): Do you all know that this is a crime? He is violating several laws now, national and international…

- Other agent (looks at her colleague, whispers): He's violating the Pendragon law, but like that kid said, do you want to tell him?

Interrogation room…

- Arthur (wipes his hands, smiling): Where's Brunna's beautiful smile? Don't you want to laugh anymore?

- Brunhilde (covered in blood, moaning in pain): Agh! You… (bleeding, spits blood)

- Arthur (smiles evilly): Don't forget your daughter, don't you want her alive?

- Brunhilde (laughs, spits blood): Since you asked! Child, did you ever think that your grandmother died of natural causes? It's a shame, a pretty little shame... (laughing): I poisoned her, like the useless ant she was. Why, you ask? Because I wanted to! What are you going to do? Brat! (laughing)

- Arthur (his eyes shine, his aura darkened): YOU WILL PAY WITH YOUR LIFE FOR THIS!!!

His eyes turned purple, everyone watching was worried, and scared by it, they had never seen such a dark aura, such a domain, Hera desperately tried to open the door. The entire base could feel Arthur's fury, and they knew it was the captain, and Brunhilde stopped the provocations and realized what she had done...

- Personification of Arthur's domain (laughing, behind Brunhilde): Hmmm, there's someone very interesting here, she's coming back to life... (looks at Arthur): I knew you'd end up accepting me, for now just kill her, okay? Just put your hand on her face...

- Arthur (enraged, comes closer to Brunhilde)

- Brunhilde (looks at the woman): Who are you? (looks at Arthur, sees his condition, his eyes): Get away from me, you monster! Leave!

In the observation room…

- Princess Hera (enters the room, after having tried to break down the door): It's true, the glass... (starts punching the glass)

- Tristan (enters the room, sticks his sword in the glass, and the glass starts to break)

In the interrogation room…

- Arthur (his left hand pressed against Brunhilde's face, he drew upon her life force, evolving into an Extreme Master)

- Brunhilde (struggling against his grip, losing strength): Let go of me! Let me go you useless!

- Arthur (takes the sword that his grandmother gave him from his back with his right hand, and cuts off Brunhilde's head, blood sprayed, and the room seemed to hold its breath)

- Princess Hera and Tristan (shattered the glass, rushing in the room)

- Personification of Arthur's domain (laughing, looks at Hera and Tristan): Too late... (blows kisses and vanishes, leaving behind an aura of malevolence)

Arthur, unable to control his newfound power, writhed in pain. Killing Brunhilde hadn't eased his suffering, it had amplified it. His grief, anger, and guilt merged into a tempest within him.

A month later, Arthur freed the amazons and ordered them to tell the queen, his mother, that he will not return to the island, that he knows what she hid, what the amazons were hiding, and he doesn't want to be looked for. Alexia's new appearance amazed everyone, taller, more beautiful, with tattoos on her, leaving her admirers even more amazed, and she reached an understanding with her mother, after sincere apologies from both parties. But Arthur refused to forgive his mother...

- Sir. A (sighs): He didn't want to go back to the island, didn't want to talk to his mother, didn't want to be looked for or found, and he decided to go on an adventure on the vacation that were knocking on the door, in search of peace. Hera, sad after hearing this returned to the island with Alexia. Tristan refused to abandon his lord, his friend, and decided to go with him on this adventure...

And they left, traveling around the world. Meanwhile, the queen received the news, and mourned with so much sadness, she just cried and cried out for her son, she stopped sleeping, eating, she kept trying to find a way to bring him back, and everyone avoided talking about reproduction, and Arthur's name began to cause fear in the amazons. Arthur left, looking for relief from his many pains, looking for a reason to live. Little did he know that he was far from being relieved, but very close to what he wanted to avoid…

Arthur revoked his princely titles and privileges when he left, Arthur wanted the amazons to stop this as quickly as possible, but reading one of the pages of his grandmother's book, he discovered that it was very dangerous, if he wanted to end it, he would have to be prepared for a war, not a war, but world wars, he had to train, evolve, and have the King's Force. If he wanted to defeat Zeus, defeat the kingdoms that are in his hands, he would need the King's Force, without that, he wouldn't have allies, he wouldn't have an advantage in the fight. Only then would he have voice, he would have a name, he would have allies, and most importantly, it is not enough to kill Zeus. To get to Zeus, he would have to fight against many, and when he gets to Zeus, he will fight against such a strong being, but so strong that he is capable of defeating an entire army alone…

His beloved grandmother's words echoed: "Be careful. Don't be driven by revenge. Be prudent, wise, and patient."

The beginning of this fearsome war lurked, a war that would reshape the world…

- Grey (leaned forward, eyes fixed on him): What happened?

- Sir. A (gesturing, revealing the truth): Zeus discovered that Arthur was not dead, Ares said he would return to finish the job properly, but the furious Zeus refused, saying it was better not to kill him, waiting for him to take them to the King's Force…

He didn't consider Arthur a threat...

- King Zeus (sat on his throne, contemplating): He's a Treadway, he probably knows where the King's Force is, and will lead us to it...

- Apolyte (kneeling, voiced her concern): This is very dangerous, my king. Arthur will become a serious threat. He might rally allies, raise an army, and declare war...

- King Zeus (laughed, dismissing the notion): That would be fun, and much easier, do you really think he's a match for a god? He's an insect, so I don't have time to annihilate him and all his friends at once, he's not worthy of the attention of the gods...

- Princess Aphrodite (standing next to the throne, waving a fan): And because of that Ashura who walks with him...

- King Zeus (looks at Apolyte): Where is Brunhilde?

- Apolyte (sighs): Brunhilde? She was killed by the child…

- Prince Ares (laughing, excuses himself): I'm going to freshen up... (leaves the throne room)

- King Zeus (his eyes gleaming, looks at Apolyte): That's interesting, we can use that... (looks at one of the servants): Send a letter to the Council of Kings, say that the god king, summons a meeting!

- Apolyte (smiles) "You're already dead, Treadway…"

Alfred confirmed to Arthur how strong Zeus was, a being capable of crushing a human's head without difficulty, being close to him was certain death, and Arthur understood that he needed to get stronger...

- Grey (takes a notepad from his backpack): Mr. A, I have a lot of questions to ask, about the king's force, core, Qi, Qi balls, Pendragon, domain, realms, continents, so many things...

- Sir. A (annoyed, sweating, restless) TERRA! BRING LUNCH, AND MY PILLS TOO…

- The housekeeper (inside the house): YES SIR...

- Sir. A (looking at the door of the house): Sorry, kid. I can't stay a long time without my medicines... Anyway, I said, organize your questions. When we finish, you'll ask. Now let's eat…!

- Grey (smiles): Okay, Mr. A…
