The Rise of Victoria Seras

Chapter 11: 11. Why not kill?

Chapter 11

After talking with Integra, Walter headed to the basement to tell Alucard his mistress's decision. However, when he approached the door, he heard a conversation.

- Master, what do you do to get rid of the anger and frustration that accumulates inside?

- You just need to do something that brings pleasure, for example, I like to kill with maximum cruelty. It burns me so much inside that I forget about everything else.

- Does it help?

- Do you doubt it, policewoman?

- No, it's just that at the shooting range, when I shot at targets, I imagined that it was

those scum. A couple of hours later it even helped, but as soon as they came, this

disappointment returned, and I still feel anger.

- Is that a problem? Just go there and kill them. – Alucard immediately suggested, when he got the gist of the problem.

- I can't do that, Master!

- Why? – the vampire asked irritably.

- If possible, I'd rather not talk about it now. You can come in, Walter. – I said, looking at the door, after all, with new feelings I noticed him when he had just started to go down to the door.

- Sorry, Seras, I didn't mean to eavesdrop. Old habits die hard, you know? – Walter said with an awkward face, opening the door.

- It's okay, I understand. I haven't been here even a few days, and I've already caused a lot of trouble for Sir Integra, I'd be curious too if I were you. – I said with a smile.

- I'm glad you understand, but Seras. Please tell the truth, why didn't you follow Alucard's advice? - Walter began to speak with a smile, before showing a stern expression.

- There are so many reasons that I don't even know where to begin. - I said, tiredly lying down

on the bed, hugging Basque, who had come up to me.

- Just start with what you think is a good place to start, and I'll listen to everything.

- Well, first of all, I'm a vampire and I can't influence the fact that they and the recruits will hate me. After all, vampires killed their comrades, and veterans pass on their hatred to recruits.

- Okay, what next?

- Well, it's also obvious, I can understand their pride. A little girl who has been alive for barely longer than they served surpassed them in everything and did what none of them could ever do.

- How does all this relate to the fact that you didn't follow Alucard's offer? – Walter asked, slightly irritated.

- Well, even if I kill them, it won't change anything, it will only add headaches and extra work for you and Sir Integra, since new soldiers will come and they will also inherit the hatred towards me.

- So you mean to say that you don't do this so as not to create more work for us? That's all? – Walter asked, surprised.

- Yes, and I certainly don't want to clean up all the mess that will result from the massacre!

- Is it really Seras?

Before I could answer, Alucard took the floor.

- Yes, Walter. She was just embarrassed to say it in front of you. There are so many more human reasons not to kill someone, and she doesn't do it so as not to irritate you and Integra. Funny, isn't it? – Alucard chuckled.

- Okay, let's get to the point of why I'm here. According to Sir Integra's orders, Seras no longer needs to train with humans, you, Alucard, will be in charge of her training.

- As long as it's an order, I'll do it to the best of my ability, - Alucard replied.

- Well, good night then. - Walter said before leaving.

- That's mean, Master! What do you mean by "as long as it's an order". You don't want to train me?! - I voiced my complaints while holding Basqui in my arms.

- You're not worthy of training, policewoman!

- HM! - I spoke out in pure Uchiha style and went to bed.

"Policewoman, why didn't you actually follow my suggestion?"

"Do you really want to know that much?"

"Yes."

"How about please?"

"Policewoman!!!"

"Damn it! Okay, don't yell like that! It hurts!"

"That's because in about a month, they won't be here anyway, they'll all be dead. So what's the point of creating extra work for me if it's going to be done by someone else's hands, and I'll still have the opportunity to take my anger out on them, only not as humans, but as ghouls."

"Really? Any exact dates?"

"No, but I know it'll happen when the round table conference is held here."

"Isn't it sad that even Arthur will die?"

"Hmmm. No? Still, what's the point of getting attached to dead people?"

"Hahahahahahaha, you're really great, police girl!"

- Thank you, Master! – I answered with a joyful smile.
