chapter 30
30 – The Difference Between a Freak and an Uninvited Guest
While Rise was flustered, the man’s hand moved like lightning and grabbed the air.
Then, even at a distance, she felt her breath choke as if she had been grabbed right in front of her nose, and as if being dragged by her invisible hand, she leaned over and dragged her, leaving a mark on her floor. I had no choice but to go.
Profit.
As Lisse was being dragged along, she naturally brought both of her hands to her neck in an attempt to free herself from something that was holding her back, but she didn’t grab anything, and she only gasped for breath and slapped her bottom. I could do nothing but look down and helplessly be dragged away.
The only thing that catches RiSe’s eyes is the floor of the gentleman he always sees.
‘Uh? Why are the pillars…’
As she was being dragged along, she noticed something strange.
There was a hollow under the shrine’s pillars.
And judging from the amount of wet soil that came out, it reached the level of the pillar’s roots.
However, the man did not slow down her steps, as if he had no intention of clearing her doubts, and moved on until he saw her.
Ki-Ik.
When he went to the main hall, as if he had waited, the door opened without even touching him, and he saw a person hanging inside.
“Lee, Lisse!”
It was Rise’s father, Kenji Saigo.
Tied to a log where her hair had been rescued from, Kenji shouted her name as if vomiting her blood as she watched Lyse dragging her. He yelled as he glared at the man at the sight of Lisse snapping at her neck in agony.
“You ghost! Release my daughter right now!”
A cry filled with anger.
But the man was not afraid, he just smiled.
At first glance, that smile seemed innocent, but just looking at it as if it was full of ominous feelings gave me a bad feeling.
“Don’t do that.”
The man said that after dragging Rise to Kenji.
“Are you kidding me right now!”
But that attitude made Kenji even more excited.
Because it seemed like he was lying without even putting saliva on his mouth.
But the man looked straight into Kenji’s eyes as he shouted with a bloodstain around his neck. It’s as if he wants you to believe in his truth, as if there’s not the slightest lie in what he says. He met his calm eyes as if to prove his sincerity and purity.
“You and your daughter will be released.”
The man’s eyes did not move.
“I have no intention of harming you.”
He didn’t waver
“Rather, now this may be a blessing to you.”
“Oh my god…”
“Yes. I have come to bless you. Aren’t you really grateful?”
Kenji knew that there was only truth in the eyes of a man as deep as the deep sea and as still as a rock.
The man who approached her with a kind face, strangled her, knocked her out, tied her to a log, and dragged her daughter by the collar like a dog by unknown means.
He could sense instinctively that he was telling only the truth.
How could that be?
How could that man’s words be true?
The weight of the spirit in the man’s words was infinitely heavy and infinitely pure.
It was something Kenji couldn’t understand with his common sense.
“But yes… It’s quick and easy to take the shortcut. So I’ll only suggest it once.”
The man muttered something incomprehensible and grabbed Rise by the hair. Then he said, holding it in front of Kenji’s eyes.
“Do you intend to tell me the real name of the body?”
Body name.
Upon hearing that word, both Kenji and Rise’s faces hardened.
A name has power.
The thing called the body is no exception.
The body has spirituality to be called a divine object, and the body is infinitely lacking in reason to be called a divine spirit. They exist isolated from external stimuli, and only the name of the body was the only way to contact them.
Observation and interaction are closely related.
To know the name of a body is to be recognized by the body, and to be aware of each other is to be able to influence each other.
As an analogy, the body is an intranet, and knowing the name of the body is the same as knowing the access ID.
“…Knowing that, what are you going to do?”
Kenji moved his heavy lips and asked.
“Knowing that, what difference does it make?”
However, the man rather jokingly asked back, but did not come back with a proper answer.
“…I can’t tell you.”
“I knew it would.”
He smiled and pulled out two objects from his bosom.
One was a drop. It was a small drop the size of a fingernail, and the surface was rough because it was cheap or poorly finished, and if it was not properly maintained, it had rust and dirt on it. In particular, in the case of dirt, there was a mix of blackened parts and green parts due to clumping together, so at first glance, it seems like it was a waste product that had been abandoned for a long time in a deserted place.
Another was a very small plastic bag. What was put in the plastic bag was different from each other. Some contained white powder, some resembled herbal powder, and some contained very thin paper. The powder was white, reminiscent of baking soda, and was translucent, resembling shattered ice, forming sharp crystals. At first glance, the herb powder looked like dried and ground mugwort, but it was clumped together in places to form a bumpy sphere.
The man waved a small plastic bag in front of Kenji and laughed.
“Someone who isn’t even a shaman has something like this. Why did you want to go into a trance state and perform a ritual with this?”
“Uh, how…”
“How can I not know what they smell like? I was able to find them easily.”
Kenji looked at his daughter Lise with a contemplative face. As she pondered what the man was saying, she thought of something and she was startled.
“Father! Did you do drugs?!”
“Li-Lise! No! That, that’s…”
Kenji tried to make an excuse, but looked away from Rise as if he was speechless. Then, as if to change the topic, she shouted at the man.
“You bastard! Are you trying to blackmail me! Even if you threaten me like that, I won’t tell you my name! Kill me!”
The man burst into laughter at the sight of him scolding him.
“Why do you think I will kill you? You must live. I will do it for you.”
But information needs to be spit out, so I prepared this.
The man thatMuttered and shook the small bell.
Jjal-lang.
The bells that floated and swayed in the air made a clear sound that seemed to cleanse the mind unlike their messy appearance, and sounded through the entire building as if they were striking a bell and spread to the outside.
Iron—-buck.
The sound of bells ringing as if calling someone moved something that was waiting outside.
It was swimming on the moist soil floor, and wriggling its body like a snake with its belly on the bottom, approaching it, standing on a handstand with broken fingers on the stairs, and tentacles hardened feet as it was in a cross-legged position. It stretched out like a tree and left footprints in the soil here and there.
“Uh, uh…”
A hideous face, as if it had been salted for a hundred years. Even though it was dry, the skin that had not rotted away barely covered the bones, losing its elasticity, and the salt, which had become black due to contamination with bodily fluids, constantly left traces in the open pupils, like sand falling.
It crawls with a body so shrunk that it is impossible to recognize what size it was when it was alive. Even when he tries to stand on his hands with a broken arm, he wriggles like a snake, leaving meaningless footprints on walls and floors.
“I was wondering what method to use, but I saw that there was an ink pearl in the car. Human sacrifices like this, where people are buried alive under pillars, are rare these days. Aren’t you really lucky?”
Risse thought that he had been pressed with scissors with his eyes open.
“By the way, Inju was just a child. So I tried to make a satani by picking up and driving the scattered souls. Maybe because there were a lot of souls, it was easy to make. How is it? How plausible?”
Pad?
Are you new?
I have no idea what you mean.
‘Sah, save me…’
I don’t even want to know
‘The salty smell, the rotten smell…’ .’
Lyse was confused and saw a terrible demon approaching her. The gaping hole gave off a smell reminiscent of salted meat, and a terrifying smell emanated from the gaping mouth that grew larger and larger.
The demon’s mouth grew bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger again and again. And the sight of the mouth tearing open and tearing the entire face is like…
‘It’s like a flower.’
I thought it was like a flower.
“Lise!”
Before the evil spirit’s mouth swallowed her own head.
He thought so.
* * *
『Lise! Remember well what I told you! 』
“Never say your name! 』
『No matter what tricks you use, you must never get over it!! 』
* * *
“Lise! Lisse! Class is over!”
Rise felt someone shake her body.
When she forced her closed eyes open and lifted her head slightly, what she saw was Airi.
“Why are you so sleepy that you don’t eat or sleep?”
