Even the Third Hokage rarely goes home because he’s busy at the office. That’s why I don’t want to be Hokage... having to fight with a mountain of paperwork!"

Minato chuckled softly, while Kushina tried to hold back her smile. Aoki's reasoning sounded so simple, yet it was filled with the logic of a child.

"Maybe many think being Hokage is amazing, but I think it’s a hassle. Besides, I don’t have much chakra. Because of that, I can’t be a Ninja. How could there be a Hokage who isn’t a ninja and has only a little chakra?" Aoki continued confidently.

Minato and Kushina, who were initially entertained by Aoki's view on the Hokage job, suddenly fell silent when they heard about the amount of chakra Aoki possessed. Their curiosity increased.

The two of them immediately tried to sense the chakra within Aoki's body. When they succeeded in feeling it, shock crossed their faces... Aoki truly had only a little chakra, far below the normal standard for a child his age. They fell silent for a moment, contemplating what they had sensed.

Actually, I hope there’s another kind of energy I can use... if only there were energy besides chakra." At the end of his sentence, Aoki murmured softly, his last words almost inaudible, even to someone with sharp hearing.

However, Minato and Kushina were not ordinary Ninjas. They clearly heard Aoki's last murmur about energy besides chakra but chose not to comment on it. They simply exchanged glances, as if trying to understand the boy sitting in front of them.

"Ah! Is the ramen ready? Time to eat!" Aoki exclaimed enthusiastically, immediately starting to devour the ramen in front of him.

Meanwhile, Minato and Kushina continued to look at Aoki with great curiosity. Aoki, sensing their gaze, finally glanced at them, feeling a bit strange about the attention he was receiving.

"Eh, are you two hungry? Or maybe you don’t have money to eat? Don’t tell me the pretty older sister lied about treating us earlier?" Aoki asked innocently, startling the two ninjas from their thoughts.

Kushina, hearing that baseless accusation, immediately changed her expression to one of anger. Quickly, Kushina flicked her hand to Aoki's head, causing the boy to wince while rubbing his head.

"Ah! Why did the pretty older sister hit me?" Aoki complained, frowning as he rubbed his sore head.

"Haihs... I was looking at you because I was curious, not because I don’t have money! And of course, I have money! Don’t think of me like that, you naughty boy!" Kushina retorted, her face annoyed but still showing concern.

"Oh, is that so? Alright, all done!" Aoki shouted as he set down his now-empty ramen bowl.
