The Superior Spider (Marvel)

Seriously, this is bullshit.

All I wanted to do was enjoy a nice first date with Gwen, and now I have to deal with Ivan Vankos' bullshit and Iron Man shenanigans.

Then again this is also an opportunity.

Since the unmaned drones Justin is going to reveal tonight run on Arc Reactor technology.

Which Tony hoards like a fat kid hoards candy and cake.

Stark doesn't share.

But with all the drones here tonight, and all the chaos that's about to ensue, I'm sure no one will miss one or two of the reactors.

So maybe this night won't be so bad after all.

Plus this is a chance to get in good with Iron Man and his closest friends.

Even if I am planning to steal from him.

Then again is it really stealing if Tony didn't technically make these reactors here tonight?

Eh, semantics.

As I thought about all this Justin finally finished his horrible entrance dance, and then started pumping himself up.

After which he began revealing the drones just like in the films.

Until finally he revealed Rhodey in his future War Machine armor.

Then a few minutes after he did Tony came down from the sky, and landed on the stage in a perfect superhero pose.

His armor now powered by the element he just created, Badassium.

"Eh Stark, well isn't this a surprise. Everyone, Tony Stark the one who made tonights events possible has decided to grace us with his presence. So let's give him a big round of applause." Justin spoke.

"Yes, please do." Tony said.

So that's exactly what everyone, including Gwen and I, did.

Justin getting a look on his face like someone had just slapped him, given the level of cheers and applause we the audience gave Tony was much much higher than when he made his appearance on stage.

As the cheers died down Tony moved closer to Rhodey.

Then a second after he did shit finally hit the fan.

The drones, and the War Machine armor, all suddenly came online.

Leading to Hammer to looked utterly shocked.

But I only paid attention to that for a split second before my Spider sense kicked into overdrive.

With this telling me the danger was close I took Gwens' hand and started leading her through the crowd.

"Peter. Hey Peter, what are you doing?"

Ignoring all her attempts to talk to me.

I continued to do this until we were finally out.

"Aghhhh!!!"

Then right after we were things truly kicked off as I saw the drones beginning to attack Tony.

"What the hell?!" Gwen shouted. "What's going on?!"

"Looks like Hammer wants to take out Stark permanently." I spoke.

Even though I knew that wasn't the case.

But I can't say that now can I?

After the drones, and War Machine armor, began attacking Tony complete and utter chaos erupted.

People started running out of the venue.

Seeing this I pulled Gwen behind me and ran, until I found a secluded spot with no visual surveillance of any kind.

"Peter, what are you-"

"Getting you safe." I interrupted her.

I then opened a portal to the Spider's Den and quickly moved Gwen through it.

Ignoring the utterly shocked look on her face.

Pulling her close I summoned forth my suit.

Deciding it was as good a time as any to reveal my other self to Gwen.

"Peter, your-"

"-Yes. I am. But we can talk about that later. Right now I'm heading back to help others. And you're going to stay here where it's safe." I spoke.

I then gently tossed Gwen onto the couch and ran back through the portal, slamming it shut before she could say another word.

After which I got to work.

Jumping into the air I started web slinging around, saving people.

I kept some from trampling each other.

Then when I was finished with that two drones came at me.

Seeing this I webbed them both up and then slammed them into each other.

After which I quickly portal'd their remains to inside the train car lab of the Spider's Den.

Which I had put on lockdown to make sure Gwen, or anyone else, who I brought there, or who happened to find it, couldn't get into the lab itself without my express permission or a lot of time and effort.

My Arc Reactor technology acquisition complete I continued webbing through the venue. Taking down drones left and right.

Continuing to swing I saw Tony being chased.

But before I could go and assist him I noticed a drone targeting a kid of about ten or eleven years old in an Iron Man mask just like in the film. So with that I shot two web lines near its legs and launched myself at the drone.

Slamming straight into its back and sending it into the ground.

After which I looked at the kid wearing the Iron Man mask. "Nice try kid. But wait until your a bit older before playing hero." I told him.

He then simply nodded.

"Miles!"

Until I heard a female voice cry out for the boy.

Turning my head in its direction I saw Too Morales.

Meaning the boy I just saved is none other than Miles Morales.

'So, he does exist.' I thought.

As I did his mom took him, thanked me, and then ran off with a potential future Spider hero.

Meaning I need to set even more of a good example, if that kid does get powers one day.

Making a quick mental note of that I stomped on the drones head and ripped out the Arc Reactor in its chest for good measure.

I then continued swinging through the venue, saving as many people as I could.

Until the drones stopped attacking and I saw a large explosion of light.

Telling me Tony and Rhodey has just dealt with Vanko permanently.

Still, I could see people still needed help.

So with that I went around continuing to work for a little bit.

Lifting rubble, helping clear out debris.

That is until first responders arrived.

When they did I said a few hello's before webbing off.

Only to spot Tony and Pepper sharing a passionate kiss.

Swinging towards them I landed.

Leading to them breaking apart, and Tony aiming his repulsors at me.

"Whoever you are, that was rude."

"First of all dude I'm Spiderman. If you haven't heard of me you must've been living under a rock. Or in a cave in your case Stark. Secondly I just came to say hi to a fellow hero." I explained.

"Spiderman." Tony mused.

"Oh my God, can I get your autograph?" Pepper asked me. Handing me a piece of paper and a pen.

"Sure, anything for a fan." I spoke.

I then gave Pepper my autograph.

"Well that's all I wanted to say. Bye." I spoke.

Then before Tony could say another word I web slinged off.

Quickly finding a secluded spot, where I portal'd back to the Spider's Den.

Finding Gwen trying and failing to break into my train car lab.

Only to stop when she noticed me.

Giving me a look that contained anger, confusion, yet also relief all at the same time.

"So, you're Spiderman?" She asked.

When she did I pulled off my mask and nodded. "Yeah, your boyfriend is Spiderman." I said.

Only for Gwen to walk right up to me and slap me clear across the face.

Okay, I deserved that one I admit.
