Chapter 20: Vol. 1: Chp. 20 The Council
Currently, there was a room that had a huge oval table in the middle. Chairs also surrounded the table, containing people. More specifically, it contained members of the Council of Buraun.

The sound of a door was heard, indicating that someone has walked in. All of the council looked towards the entrance of the room, feeling relieved as it was the person they were waiting on.
"Evening, Gentlemen" Greeted Ms. Manabu, forcefully using a sweet tone.
"Evening, please sit down." offered a council member, the council member had a wide frame, short black hair, and a black beard to match.
Manabu then took a seat at the end of the table, allowing her to glance at every council member present in a vexatious manner. Manabu never liked the council, only have they ever promoted legislation that satiated their greed.
"Now that you're here, we can begin." the same council member with black hair started, "recently, an invasion occurred. At 9:32 AM, April 13th, 2021. The school of warriors, otherwise known as Buruanmajikku, was recently invaded by unknown warriors, and no context as to what village they're from." The council member informed, using a stern but informative sounding tone.
"That all sounds correct!" Manabu gleefully responded, making the council member nod and continue.
"In retaliation, the school was to undergo lockdown, the same went for the rest of the village. Making us send out warriors of all classes to scope out the situation. as that was happening, you seemed to have attempted to fight off the invaders." The council member added, emphasizing the word 'attempt', seemingly having something to talk about.
"Ms. Manabu, we called you in here today because you let a civilian partake in a battle meant for warriors. That fight could've easily been a high-class battle for our belligerent, but a mere stranger took place in that fight. You know why that's not acceptable." The council member disappointingly stated,
"That man's appearance was by pure coincidence, he was already engaged in the fight before I could render what was happening," Manabu explained, hoping to wiggle out of the blame.
"Ms. Manabu, being assigned as the principal of the school is a heavy task. Letting people engage in fights like that could lead to people not trusting us or believing that we can't protect them, then they wouldn't donate their charity to the schools, or the village." Stated the council member, using a stern and forceful tone. Causing tension to rise within the room,
"Charity? Is that all we stand for as a village now!? There are other factors to worry about, but you are all worried about the money that gets distributed to the village!" Shouted Manabu, enraged by the words of the council member.
"Ah, so you also believe what you did was wrong? Remember Manabu, we're choosing to keep your little secret hidden. If you stop listening to us, everyone will know of the cursed demon inside of you," the council member threatened, making Manabu silent.
The council member then smirked, "Good, that is all we have to speak of for today. Goodbye Ms. Manabu."
The members of the council then watched Manabu stand up from her seat and walk out the door, all of them sighing in relief.

"AH, I never thought that I'd see anything other than the tree's ever again!" Akogare proclaimed, smiling widely while crying as well.
*BONK*
"Oh, quit your whining. We were in the Kodaina forest for not even a day!" Said Naderamu, feeling slightly annoyed at his antics.
"IT FELT LIKE DAYS!" Akogare complained even more, fortunately, or unfortunately still attaining his loud mouth tendencies.
"Am I the only one still questioning why the marks on the tree's suddenly disappeared?" Tanjo asked, unable to clear his mind off of the class activity that was supposed to be harmless... Maybe.
"Don't know, don't care. We made it out and we were kept safe from whatever was out there, now I have a real question.-" Informed Naderamu,
"Who's down for some takoyaki!?"

"Here you go, enjoy!" said a waitress, handing a plate of food to three customers.
Currently, Akogare, Naderamu, and Tanjo were eating at a small restaurant called the 'Okunai Furaipan', just a few blocks down from Tanjo's house.
"Finally, it's been a while since I had food like this!" announced Naderamu, her mouth beginning to water from the smell of the food alone.
"I mean, it's pretty close to my house. Maybe I should get the old man to take me here?" Tanjo inquired, loving the idea of eating delicious, well-made food whenever he's in the mood for it. Which would be every day, but that'd be too much.
"Oh yeah, that reminds me. Tanjo, you said your father never took you to a hospital? And took care of every other human necessity? If that's true, is he super smart or something?" questioned Naderamu, adorning a look of curiosity.
"I'm not sure, he only recently got a job. We've been low on money, so he only just got into the workforce." Answered Tanjo,
"What!? How long has he not had a job? Did he hunt for everything or something?" Akogare also questioned, sounding pretty shocked, and annoyed Every customer in the restaurant, who was also now looking at him, "sorry."
"Yeah, I'm with loudmouth here. How do you live? Not very many people nowadays live like a caveman."
"Look, can we not talk about it here? Not even I know everything about him, let's just eat and go home." Responded Tanjo, feeling a little pressured by all of the questions.
Both Akogare and Naderamu decided to leave him alone, finishing their food and leaving. Well, not before arguing on who pays.
Akogare did, but he wasn't very happy.
