The Village Disciples

"I am Yuso: Lucifer's successor."

Standing in the giant stone building, Gimu and Shototsu are standing face to face with Yuso. Gimu still had his sword drawn, along with Shototsu maintaining controlled wind around his hands.

"What kind of self-proclaimed title is that!?" Gimu shouted while laughing at Yuso, seemingly dumbfounded by him being 'Lucifer's Successor.'

Yuso didn't even react to the bantering that was displayed, all that did happen was Yuso's eyes turning ink-black, his pupils started to spin until they started to turn red. Once the spinning stopped, Yosu's eyes had tiny red pentagrams for eyes.

This transformation was not missed by Shototsu, but it, unfortunately, was for Gimu-- who was still laughing from his earlier question. Yuso's eyes locked onto Gimu, he then forced his eyes wide open-- his eyelids were completely retracted into his face.

"No one can escape my Shirugeto," Yuso informed, making Shototsu's eyes shoot wide open-

"Gimu, move!" Shototsu warned, Gimu then stopped laughing as he noticed three bright lights appear all around him-- one behind him, in front, and above. acknowledging their sudden appearance, Gimu attempted to dash away-- only to be grazed by spikes that protruded out of the lights. Looking back, Gimu noticed how three pentagrams were surrounding the space he was just standing, spikes also being pushed outwards.

'What the hell?' Gimu mentally questioned, he then noticed that his right shoulder and a part of his forearm were bleeding-- showing proof of being grazed.

"Color me impressed, not many can escape my eyes." Yuso congratulated in an insincere tone,

'His eyes?' Shototsu and Gimu simultaneously thought, both looking at Yuso's dark red pupils-- surrounded by an ocean of black. 'What about his eyes should we focus on?'

Yuso's eyes started spinning once again, this time-- a pentagram swallowed Yuso whole, making him disappear without even moving. Shototsu then acknowledged one trait, "His eyes start to spin when he's doing his attack!"

Gimu nodded in response, signaling that he understood. After that, a pentagram started to form underneath the duo, making their eyes widen. Gimu was able to avoid getting sucked in, but Shototsu on the other hand was immediately absorbed into the pentagram. "Shit!"

Gimu then heard a noise outside of the building, he then started to run towards the entrance of the building. Once he made it outside, Gimu looked into the sky and noticed that Yuso was standing on a hovering pentagram while Shototsu was being held to the pentagram, red chains were coming out of the pentagram and tied Shototsu down-- sitting on his knees.

"Hey jackass, down here!" Gimu called out, the hovering red-haired man then peered down beneath him-

"There you are, what took you so long?" Yuso taunted with a dead expression stained on his face,

"You ran away from me and then stole my partner!" Gimu retorted, 'Why is it once again my partner who gets captured or killed!?'

"Maybe you should've been faster." Yuso annoyingly responded, apparently berating Gimu on his abilities.

Gimu then squeezed his eyes shut, the hold on his sword tightened-- his hand started to shake from the pressure, also releasing blood from his palm to indicate that his nails dug right through his skin. 'First, he stated he was some satanic psycho, attempted to kill me, now he's calling me slow!?' Gimu then lifted his sword to his mouth-- keeping his eyes shut, then pulled out his tongue and licked the blade of the sword, cutting his tongue in the process.

Shototsu could only watch as his partner cut himself, but he could only sit in fear as for what happened next. Gimu's original light brown hair started to turn a dark gray, while his body also started to get covered in thin yellow lines, each resembling minuscule tendrils. The lines traced down his arms to his hands, as well as his face and surrounding his eyes. Gimu then opened his eyes to showcase his now incredibly golden colored eyes that contained the word 'blade' in Kanji within his now enlarged pupils.

"What a horrid transformation." Yuso insulted, "what is your reasoning for this?"

Gimu then looked back up at the red-haired man, "You seem to deem me as weak, how about now, eh!?"

Yuso only kept a bemused look, "If you wish to initiate a battle, I'm all for it-- but I will never let you live through a second set of attacks." He then folded his arms, "now then, since you wish to fight, let us begin."

Yuso formed the first attack, he created the small pentagrams in each of his hands and launched them at Gimu, as if they were shurikens(ninja stars). Before they could reach Gimu, he suddenly disappeared, leaving a faint afterimage in his place for a mere moment.

Yuso looked around and spotted the branches and leaves on the trees around him were swaying violently, up until.

"Surprise!" Gimu appeared in a flash in front of Yuso, somehow getting into the air-- up to where Yuso was hovering on his pentagram. Yuso then created a giant pentagram in front of him to block Gimu's incoming sword, surprisingly-- the pentagram broke into tiny fragments as Gimu's sword kept on reigning in.

Yuso barely managed to dodge Gimu's attack, Gimu's foot slightly touched the pentagram beneath them, allowing him to disappear again and reappear instantly behind Yuso.

Yuso quickly turned around and pushed his palm towards Gimu, the pentagram in his hand shined and a bigger pentagram formed and pushed outwards, blocking another one of Gimu's attacks.

Gimu backed off and got an idea, after dashing away, Yuso saw the chains tying Shototsu down, break in a flash. Yuso growled in annoyance as he watched his prisoner escape and safely land onto the ground by cushioning himself with the wind he was currently using.

"Submit, I've won already." Yuso declared as he then extended his hand towards the sky as a giant pentagram formed, escaping the giant, red pentagram was a huge stone pillar. The duo then noticed a mountain in the distance lost a chunk of its side by getting sucked into a distant pentagram.

"I've stationed pentagrams in various locations to aid me in battle, this is just a glimpse of what my Shirugeto can accomplish," Yuso informed as his eyes then bulged open once again, still attaining the dark-red shine within his ink-black eyes.

As the giant stone pillar was falling, Shototsu raised both of his hands at the falling structure-

*WHOOSH*

Newly acquired wind then started to flow upwards and make contact with the falling stone, the wind eventually started to decrease the momentum of the falling stone structure. Due to the pressure of the wind, the stone started to crack and break apart-- sending down more stone pieces.

'C'mon Shoto!' Gimu mentally rooted out to his teammate, 'show me why Regashi thought you were important!'

Shototsu then expanded the width of the wind getting sent up to catch more of the falling stone debris-

"Need help?" A voice called out to Shototsu, the voice resided within Shototsu's consciousness.

After the new voice spoke, the power of the wind being expelled strengthened and nearly immediately stopped all of the falling stones. 'Kaze! Thank god, I was having trouble lifting all of that!' Shototsu mentally spoke back, thanking the new voice.

"I recommend using all of that stone and tossing it at the red-haired brat." The new voice suggested,

Shototsu then redirected all of the falling debris at Yuso. Yuso noticed the incoming debris falling towards him when it made contact with where Yuso was standing-- a cloud of dirt and broken parts of the ground ruptured all around where the stone hit. Only a crater that was filled with stones was left.

"I-is he dead?" Shototsu panted out to his partner,

"No clue, lift the rocks back up," Gimu commanded,

Shototsu complied, not before complaining and groaning-- but he lifted all of the stone back up, expecting to see an injured or dead Yuso, instead they see nothing. No sign of a person was present, all that was left was a red light quickly diminishing within the crater.

The duo only stared at the now-empty crater in annoyance and fear, resulting in Gimu's casual retort, "God damn it!"

MILES AWAY FROM GIMU AND SHOTOTSU

A red-haired man can be seen slowly walking through a forest, then stopping and looking back. 'I'll kill you next time, I'll find you eventually.' The man started to walk away again, this man was Yuso-- and he survived.
