The Village Disciples

BACK IN FURUSATO VILLAGE

Three men can be seen walking through the entrance of a throne hall, two of them with dark green hair, one of them having ear-length hair and the other with neck-length hair. Traveling with them is a man with dark black hair and red sideburns.

"King Regashi, we brought back the men we were searching for." Informed the dark black-haired man with long, red sideburns that traverse down the side of his face. Otherwise known as Imawashiki.

"Well done, if you may. Call Gimu back to the village to notify him that we found what we were looking for." Regashi commanded, then moving his eyes to meet the two already expected green-haired strangers.

"So, want to tell us why we were almost dragged here for?" The longer-haired man asked, staring at the 'leader' who's supposedly named Regashi, sitting on a throne.

"We wish to come to a compromise, one that benefits the both of us." Answered Regashi, attempting to pique the stranger's interests. "Your names are Itami and Doryoku, right?"

"How do you know who we are if I may ask?" The shorter-haired man known as Itami questioned.

"We recently have had our eyes on you, watching what you're both capable of. You both stem from a village that trained warriors, more specifically. One of the top 15 villages in the nation!" Hollered Regashi, who was now standing up due to the excitement that was brewing in him and was almost unable to contain it.

"So what if we were a part of a well-known village, what about us acquires your attention?" Asked the longer-haired man named Doryoku.

"Not too long ago, this village used to be filled with people, an almost perfect kingdom. But, it could've been better. The previous king of this village was named Oritsu Ketsueki, and Hana Ketsueki was known as the Queen." Stated Regashi in a story-telling tone. He then took a breath and continued the story.

"Both of them had a son, whom they supposedly loved deeply, but when it came to receiving power, the prince had none. Almost on par with a peasant, the only thing that separated him from the peasants was living in a castle. Then, after 14 years of raising one kid, they gained news that the Queen was once again pregnant, meaning that the prince would gain even less attention, so the day the child was born. The prince planned an attack on his own village and also killed his own family. That prince's name is Regashi Ketsueki, NOW KNOWN AS THE KING OF FURUSATO VILLAGE!" Regashi declared, while yelling the shocking news.

"So, you killed your family because you never got enough attention?" Queried Itami with growing agitation.

"I would advise you not t-" Imawashiki tried to warn Itami for disrespecting his majesty before receiving a hand being raised by Regashi to silence him.

"I guess you could say that, but the TRUE reason was for power. The King had magnificent warriors and village folks with awesome and powerful abilities, mainly due to being well-known and also being a high-ranking village, being ranked number one in the nation, might I add. But the king used nearly none of them to their true potential, letting them rot away their magic senses and weaken over time. So I took it upon myself to revise the village and form an even stronger unit than my father ever could!" Declared Regashi, who's now smiling wickedly.

"Wait, so what I'm assuming you're getting to is that you want us to join whatever unit you're talking about? If so, I'm going to have to decline the offer. We don't want to work under an immature brat who just didn't get enough attention growing up." Retorted Itami, now preparing to leave. "Now, we'll be on our wa-"

Just as Itami and Doryoku turned around, a new guy appeared. Wearing a banaged mask that hides half of his face and wielding a sword with kanji markings written all over the length of the blade, he jumped in front of the green-haired duo and stuck out his sword. "This wasn't a request, it was an order."

Another short chapter! This was meant to shine a light on possible story antagonists, also to explain the upbringing of Regashi's revolt more.
