The Villain Doesn’t Want To Date the Cute Heroine

chapter 26

26: Li Hua Prefers Not to Be the Center of Attention

“Evening · 7 PM”

The night breeze was somewhat cool, the bright lights on the control tower guiding the planes in the sky, a series of ground lights lighting up one by one on the runway.

The huge white beast dived from the sky, roaring over the brightly lit runway with a thunderous rumble.

The raging wind brought up endless dust, swirling into the high sky, disappearing into the vast night.

Looking out the window at the empty runway, Li Hua sitting in first class felt puzzled.

Although 7 PM wasn’t exactly peak time, there shouldn’t be not a single person in sight.

Not only were there no other passengers to be seen, but even the staff were nowhere to be found, as if deliberately cleared out.

It even gave Li Hua the eerie feeling of a zombie crisis outbreak.

“Maybe I’m overthinking it.”

Leaning back in his seat, he pinched the bridge of his nose, muttering with a headache.

He had been in Colombia all night preparing for a thesis competition and academic conference, and now, unexpectedly, he had flown back.

It was truly regrettable, he had prepared for this international academic conference for years.

“But there’s nothing I can do about it, it’s the Wu family’s invitation after all~”

Feeling a bit regretful, Li Hua took off the glasses from the bridge of his nose, pulled out a pure white glasses cloth, and slowly wiped the lenses.

Thinking about it, it had been a while since he last visited the Wu family, he had been too busy in recent years.

This time, I’ve finally got a chance to visit the Wu family, but that old guy is definitely not at home, right?

“Ah, the last time I saw Wu Liang was when he was fourteen,” he said with a hint of nostalgia.

As if he was thinking of something unacceptable, Li Hua’s face showed a slightly helpless smile.

Wu Liang, that little rascal, was extremely mischievous three years ago when he visited the Wu family. He didn’t give Li Hua a good time then.

And now, three years have passed, and I have no idea if Wu Liang has become more well-behaved.

If he’s become even more unruly, that would be a problem. I’m not very good at dealing with that kind of kid.

“Mr. Li Hua, we’ve arrived. You can disembark now. The person waiting for you is already downstairs,” the flight attendant said softly.

Just as Li Hua was closing his eyes and taking a breath, a flight attendant in a red uniform and white apron stood beside him, whispering softly.

The flight attendant’s slender legs were wrapped in a package skirt, which was tight-fitting and accentuated her curvy figure. Her long legs were covered in black stockings, and even the areas where the stockings were slightly worn showed a glimpse of creamy white skin.

The legs were simply crossed, and the two thick legs would wriggle out from the root, revealing a glimpse of pink flesh.

Especially the area where the stockings were already worn out, revealing the white flesh, seemed to be inviting him to touch. As the attendant subtly moved her legs, her full legs began to tremble slightly.

“Ah…oh…I understand…”

Li Hua’s eyes snapped back into focus, and he couldn’t help but be impressed by the flight attendant’s charm.

Especially the area where the stockings were worn out and revealed white flesh seemed to hit the spot of his x factor.

“Okay, I’ll lead you down the plane,” the flight attendant said softly, gazing at Li Hua for a few seconds.

She looked like an ordinary thirty-year-old, but she seemed to be able to get such a grand welcome. Even if a leader came, it’s hard to see a scene like this. It’s as if she was presenting herself for this ordinary man.

“Thank you,” Li Hua said, stretching his lazy neck, and the people from the Wu family should be arriving soon.

He hoped there wouldn’t be any big trouble, and he didn’t want to face the weird looks from other passengers.

I didn’t forget that last time I was at the airport, the scene almost gave me a heart attack.

This time… yeah… it shouldn’t be too special, right…

“I… I knew it…”

Following the flight attendant out of the plane, Li Hua covered his forehead with a helpless sigh.

Looking at the black sea of cars and the bodyguards with sunglasses and stern faces, Li Hua suddenly felt like laughing.

I’m just a doctor, after all. What’s with all this pomp and circumstance?

You’re acting as if you’re afraid someone won’t realize I’m a VIP. If there were an assassin here, I’d be the prime target.

What’s with all this fuss? I’ve emphasized countless times that the Wu family should keep a low profile. Aren’t you afraid of drawing unwanted attention?

“Miss Flight Attendant, aren’t the other passengers disembarking?”

Li Hua massaged his temples, trying to soothe his rising blood pressure.

With what he believed to be a pleasant smile, he turned to the beautiful flight attendant beside him.

“Ah… Sir… I’ve been instructed to ensure your safe departure from here first…”

“The rest of the passengers will wait on the plane for a moment… After you leave, they will be free to disembark…”

The flight attendant had clearly never witnessed such a scene before. It was far more extravagant than she had anticipated, with people being received directly inside the airport…

Even her speech was hesitant, and she addressed Li Hua with a respectful title.

The man before her was definitely a person of importance. Truly, appearances can be deceiving.

“Alright then, I’ll be leaving first. Please apologize to the passengers for me; it’s because of me that things have turned out this way.”

Li Hua put on his glasses and spoke apologetically, then hurriedly grabbed his suitcase and scurried away.

“What a mysterious person.”

The flight attendant stared blankly at Li Hua’s retreating figure. Initially, she hadn’t thought there was anything special about him.

But now, it was clear that this man was no ordinary individual. It made her wonder who he really was…

————————————-

“Dr. Li Hua, thank you so much for taking the time to come back amidst your busy schedule.”

Upon seeing Li Hua again, the bald man at the front gestured.

Several burly men quickly ran to Li Hua’s side to help with his luggage.

“You know, you guys don’t have to make such a big deal out of this every time. Wouldn’t it be better to wait for me outside the airport?”

Li Hua, half-smiling, half-crying, looked at the bald man in front of him while holding his cap-covered head.

He remembered the last time this man had come to pick him up, and it had been quite a spectacle.

“You are a distinguished guest of the Wu family, and a dear friend of the master. Of course, we must not neglect you.”

The bald man bowed respectfully and then opened the car door, signaling for Li Hua to get in.

For a dear friend of the master, they dared not show the slightest negligence.

“Enough, enough, I’m almost sick of hearing that. Let’s just go and not cause any more trouble here.”

Li Hua turned to glance at the passenger plane behind him. He could imagine the passengers pressing their faces against the windows, watching this scene.

He had been embarrassed before, and he really didn’t want to experience that feeling again.

“Very well, Dr. Li Hua.”

The bald man smiled gently, thus fulfilling the task Miss Yao Shi had entrusted to him.
