Victory was so close, yet the Spirit Bomb crushing Frieza suddenly came to a halt. Vegeta immediately realized it was Yuujin's doing and was both anxious and furious.

What the hell is that bastard up to?!

But unlike Vegeta's reaction, Chi-Chi showed a relieved smile.

She knew how much Yuujin longed for her and Goku to transform into Super Saiyans. He had worked tirelessly for it. Giving up this opportunity would undoubtedly lead to a lifetime of regret.

Right or wrong doesn't matter. If this is the choice you and Goku have made—

"Ahhhh...!"

"Haaahhh!!!"

Frieza's voice roared as he unleashed his energy, forcing the halted Spirit Bomb upward into the sky. His battered figure, previously crushed into the ground, reemerged.

Frieza looked utterly disheveled, panting heavily, weak beyond measure. But more than anything, he was terrified.

He had almost died—almost!

"Well, Frieza, still hanging in there, huh?"

Descending from the sky alongside Goku, Yuujin spoke with a sly grin.

"Why?!"

Frieza glared at Yuujin, his expression dark and stormy.

He knew perfectly well that in that critical moment, it was Yuujin who had stopped the attack. Otherwise, he might have already turned to cosmic dust along with the planet beneath him.

"Super Saiyan. You've heard of it, haven't you?"

Yuujin wasn't in a rush to strike.

"Super Saiyan?"

"That's just a self-indulgent myth of your Saiyan race. Such a thing doesn't exist!"

A strange glint flashed in Frieza's eyes before he sneered mockingly.

"Frieza, why deceive yourself?"

"Not only among Saiyans but even your own race has legends of the Super Saiyan. Long ago, one of your ancestors was killed by a Super Saiyan."

"Saiyans may be nothing more than ants to you, yet you still destroyed Planet Vegeta, a world that had already submitted to your rule. Isn't it because you feared the emergence of the legendary Super Saiyan among them?"

Shaking his head, Yuujin's face also showed a trace of ridicule.

Frieza's expression turned uglier. How could Yuujin know so many secrets? Even the true reason for destroying Planet Vegeta?

But none of that mattered now. Frieza admitted he feared the power of the Super Saiyan. So what? These weaklings before him were far from being the stuff of legends!

"Hmph, and what does all this have to do with you suddenly stopping your attack?"

"Heh..."

"Don't you get it yet, Frieza? From the very start, we weren't fighting to defeat you."

"Your power is indeed immense. But as you just saw, if we only wanted to defeat you, we had many ways to do so. That's not the point."

"My true goal is to transform into the legendary Super Saiyan. And you, Frieza—"

"You're nothing more than a tool to help me and Goku achieve that transformation!"

"So now you understand, don't you? Since neither Goku nor I have succeeded yet, we can't let this tool disappear. That's why I spared your life..."

Under Frieza's incredulous gaze, Yuujin explained with the demeanor of a devil who had orchestrated everything from the start.

Unsurprisingly, Frieza flew into a rage after hearing Yuujin's "explanation."

"Dare to treat me, Frieza, as a mere tool for your transformation?!"

"Unforgivable! You all deserve to die!!!"

Exploding with a violent aura, Frieza's face twisted in fury as he launched himself at Yuujin and Goku.

Frieza had always been the one to manipulate and dominate others. Yet these fools dared to use him and even spare his life when they could have killed him.

It was a humiliation he couldn't forgive—a humiliation that could only be washed away with their blood!

"That's it! Bring it on!"

"Goku, let's go!"

"Right!"

Facing Frieza's enraged onslaught, Yuujin didn't retreat. Instead, his face lit up with crazed determination.

He had staked everything on transforming into a Super Saiyan. Let them fight, kill, and battle to the death until the transformation was achieved!

The intense battle resumed, shaking the heavens and earth. Despite their dwindling energy, Yuujin, Goku, and Frieza unleashed everything they had.

Without considering the aftermath, all they could do now was fight.

"Ahh... Ahhhh!!!"

From afar, Vegeta and Chi-Chi, watching the battle, were dumbfounded.

Such fierce willpower. Such insane fighting spirit. Just standing as spectators left them gasping for air.

But unsurprisingly, without the Spirit Bomb, Yuujin and Goku were no match for the enraged Frieza. Even against two opponents, Frieza dominated, defeating them soundly.

Yet Yuujin's face remained crazed.

This was exactly what he wanted!

He lacked Vegeta's pride and ego, and he couldn't bear to let Goku or Chi-Chi die in front of him to trigger his transformation. So he had to rely on his own fear!

Yes, Yuujin was terrified. He had left himself no escape route. If he failed to transform, he would die. Goku would die. Chi-Chi would die. Everyone he cared about would perish!

So he couldn't fail. He had to become a Super Saiyan!

"Die!!!"

In the sky, Frieza, having repelled Goku, raised his hands and unleashed a powerful energy wave at Yuujin.

Already gravely injured, Yuujin couldn't dodge. The energy wave struck him directly, sending him hurtling toward a river of lava below.

As the river of molten rock loomed closer, Yuujin laughed maniacally in his heart.

Hahaha, this is truly a desperate situation!

If he were truly the protagonist of this world, Yuujin felt this was the moment he should transform and reverse the tide.

But the world didn't favor him this time. The energy wave carried him straight into the lava, where he disappeared...

The entire world seemed to fall silent.

"Yu-Yuujin..."

Unable to sense Yuujin's energy anymore, Goku froze mid-battle, stunned.

Even Frieza was briefly taken aback, not expecting Yuujin to die so unexpectedly. But after a moment of shock, he laughed maniacally.

"Hahahahaha!!!!"

"Damn Saiyan, this is the price for defying me!"

"Hahahahaha!!!!"

Frieza laughed uncontrollably, his face twisted and deranged.

At last, the Saiyan who dared to challenge and use him was dead.

"Frieza!!!"

A voice roared like thunder, and a crimson aura shot into the sky.

It was Chi-Chi!

Witnessing Yuujin's fall, her mind went blank before erupting into furious rage.

Using the Kaio-Ken x20, Chi-Chi's body was pushed far beyond its limits. Her body could collapse in seconds, but she didn't care.

With Yuujin gone, nothing mattered anymore. She wanted revenge!

The ground shattered as Chi-Chi, a red blur, appeared in front of Frieza.

Her gaze was ice-cold and brimming with fury, leaving even Frieza momentarily shaken.
