"Sun" and "Moon's" advance was rapidly approaching the Imperial Capital, and it was expected to push all the way without much resistance as the army in the east was still expected to take time to complete its mustering. However, a lone soldier went ahead to halt their advance.

"Ah, fancy seeing you here, "Star". Then again who else could they have sent to stop the likes of us?" "Sun" said confidently. "Isn't this the point where you ask us why we betrayed the Empire?"

"I have no interest in such trivial matters, my only interest is completing my orders and burying the two of you." "Star" said.

"Please stop this "Star". We were all members of the same Royal Guard. The three of us are equal in terms of power, but there are two of us and one of you. You don't stand a chance, just give up I'd rather not kill you if I don't have to." "Moon" said.

"I'm afraid that's impossible. For the only way to reach the capital is to step over my corpse. You will not take one more step east while I still draw breath." "Star" said pointing his spear towards them.

"Heh, I wouldn't want it any other way." "Sun" said smiling.

"It's a shame you couldn't see reason." "Moon" said sullenly.

Meanwhile, on "Fire's" assigned planet. His men had been pushing back the Vandal forces when he discovered a lone woman in one of the towns.

"Hey lady! This is a combat zone! All non-combatants need to evacuate the area!" He said. "I thought everyone was already evacuated anyway." He thought.

As the woman got closer, he noticed that she was very beautiful and she even seemed a bit familiar though he was certain that they had never met before. When they were finally face to face he remembered where he knew her from.

"You're the announcer lady! You work most of our War Festivals. What the heck are you doing here?" "Fire" asked.

"OMG! I'm so glad I finally get to meet you!" She said as she run up to him and threw her arms around him.

"Fire" was a bit shocked, but he wasn't mad about having a beautiful woman draped around him. "Um, it's nice to meet you too?" He said unsure of what to say.

"Whenever I see you at work I have to be professional, but now I can tell you. I've always had a really big crush on you! Eek! This is so embarrassing!" She said while squealing and giggling.

"Oh wow! I heard that she had a crush on me but I didn't know that the rumor was true. This is awesome! Wait I need to play this cool." He thought. "Oh- um I-is that so?" He managed to stammer out.

"Hey why don't we go on a date right now?" She asked tugging on his arm.

"Alright, I suppose that's a- wait a minute I can't do that I'm on a mission! You need to get out of here! Actually what are you even doing here to begin with?" "Fire" said snapping back into reality.

"Well, that's because I'm a member of the Vandal Royal Guard. But don't worry about that, we don't need to fight. In fact, you should join us!" Tori said excitedly.

"What? No way! Are you serious? This has to be some kind of joke. How are you a member of the Vandal Royal Guard?" "Fire" asked in shock.

"Well, despite being a woman, you should know I'm incredibly strong. King Venpa wouldn't have named someone to his Royal Guard who wasn't capable. Although the bulk of my mission was obviously infiltrating the Empire." Tori said.

"So all that time you were undercover?" "Fire" asked.

"Yeah, and you should know this too, but while I was under cover I convinced a bunch of people to switch sides. Including your big brother "Sun"." Tori said.

Hearing his older brother being mentioned caused him to put his head down.

"Oh sorry I know you two don't have the best relationship. Is that why you don't use his power that much?" Tori asked.

"I'm done talking. If what you're saying is true, then I have no choice but to crush you here and now. Although killing a woman does leave a bad taste in my mouth." "Fire" said with a shift to a more serious demeanor.

"Aww, that's too bad. But then again if you abandoned your duty so easily you wouldn't be the "Fire" I've come to know and love." She said.

"Enough of the lies. Let's fight already." "Fire" shouted. Tori started off the fighting using her ability, Lightning. She threw massive lightning bolts that pushed "Fire" back.

"You use lightning?" He asked while dodging some of her strikes.

"Yeah, after Chihiro passed away, I'm probably the strongest lightning user in the universe." She said while showing the power to back up her claim. While see had been attacking constantly, "Fire" had only been defending himself. He hadn't launched a single attack.

"She certainly is strong I can't afford to take it easy on her. Half hearted efforts will just make this fight more painful than it has to be. It'd be better to just use full power and finish the fight with one blow." He thought.

Sun King Mode!!!!

"Fire" engaged his Sun King Mode gaining the amazing power of his elder brother, the Royal Guard captain "Sun".

Suddenly a huge column of fire appeared where Tori had been standing, completely incinerating everything in the vicinity. When the fire had dissipated, Tori was revealed to be next to the crater created by "Fire's" technique. She had been knocked down to the ground by the heat.

"Huh? How did I survive that? You definitely could have killed me, why didn't you?" She asked while feeling around to make sure she was completely intact.

"I told you, killing a woman would leave a bad taste in my mouth. Just get out of here before I change my mind. And I'll warn you, if I see you on the battlefield again I really will have to kill you." He said.

"You don't have to tell me twice." She said preparing to leave. "You know for the record, the stuff I said earlier wasn't a lie. If you ever stop serving the Empire someday come find me." She said blowing a kiss as she left.

"Man my job really sucks sometimes." "Fire" said as his power ran out and he fell to the ground exhausted. His men would go on to recapture the planet without much issue.

"You said we were on the same level." Star said. "What a farce, as if I'm on the same level as trash like you." He said as he hoisted up the bloody and broken corpses of "Sun" and "Moon". He had to take them back to present to High Command. "Star" had defeated the two of them in an instant, without taking any damage himself. This denoted a clear gap between "Star" and the rest of the Royal Guard captains.

After "Star" had finished his fight he received a call from High Command. "I've completed my mission. "Sun" and "Moon" have been taken care of-" He said as he was cut off.

"Who cares about something as insignificant as that right now? A far bigger threat is on its way! Get to the coordinates I'm sending you IMMEDIATELY!" The minister of the left screamed in a state of panic.

The coordinates he sent "Star" led to the same planet that "War" was sent to retake. The same planet that the captain of the Vandal Royal Guard, Kize, was also heading to.
