Toman's Black Cat

I'm not sure when I leaped. It didn't matter because my surroundings were exactly what I would've expected them to be. I stared at my reflection just to see what about me had changed this time, the mirror saying more than enough about the life I lived.

I adorned sweats and a t shirt, small scars I don't recognize on my hands and face. Even the mirror itself seemed just as broken as I was. I looked slightly fogged with a few cracks in it. Big enough to get a general idea of if I looked presentable or not, but that was it.

I saw my calendar a few steps away and walked over to investigate since I couldn't find a phone. Days were marked off, including one in particular that had a wedding written before being crossed out. It was supposed to happen today. I stepped closer to see the scribbled-out name.

That's why I scribbled it out. He's in the Tokyo Manji Gang…..

Stop sluttin around me and my gang.

My shoulders fell with the memory, words I knew would always remain fresh in my mind.

I promised….

I walked around to investigate more to distract the reminder of my shattered heart. Stacks of letters addressed to me. All opened but apparently, I had never replied to even one. Many from Toman members. Quite a few from Hina and Chifuyu. One from Draken and even one from Kazutora.

Not one from Mikey.

The realization hurt more than I could put into words and I couldn't bring myself to read them, even if I needed information. If anything at all had changed, I wouldn't have scribbled out the wedding date that they would no doubt all be attending.

He really meant it, then…

I was yanked from my thoughts when I heard a knock at my door. I went to answer, thinking it might be a delivery. Tears of relief filled my eyes, a smile of overwhelming joy overtook my features when I saw my visitor.

I'm not alone after all.

Takemitchy's POV

Once he noticed that Mikey and Y/n were the only ones he couldn't find, he began checking around, asking everyone where his friends could be. He was surprised that most said to leave Mikey be, even Draken and Chifuyu.

But no one had seen Y/n in years even longer than when they buried the time castle. Chifuyu didn't seem to want to say much on it, like many others, but he did try to smile when Takemitchy kept asking at the wedding.

"I tried to see her after I wasn't so caught up in everything, but she moved without telling anyone." Chifuyu gave a sad smile and shrugged. Mitsuya patted his friend on the shoulder while Souya spoke up, trying to hold back his tears.

"I miss her…"

As everyone gave solemn nods in agreement, Takemitchy missed two who hadn't said much on the matter. He went to Naoto in hopes of being able to go back and see what would have happened to these two. When the handshake didn't work, Takemitchy wasn't sure what to do, but Naoto stopped him before he walked away.

"Y/n is hurting. I don't know what happened, but I overheard Kazutora a for years saying he needed to find her. He must've, but he didn't say anything else about her. Strange, right?"

He spoke with Chifuyu and Kazutora at their pet shop, still trying to figure out what was going on as worry filled his heart, all the while Kazutora keeping silent as his friends talked it out. When Takemitchy made his way home, Kazutora was waiting outside to offer his help in finding Mikey.

"Then what happened to Y/n?" Takemitchy cried.
