Top Assassins Call Me The Lady Boss

Chapter 37: “Please.”

Chapter Thirty-Seven

"I have my men looking for her. They'll find her. I'm doing it for you, even though we are no longer friends." Ahmet knew Grey was trying to manipulate him.

"Your father killed her grandmother." He decided to say something, to give him something too in exchange for Asli's whereabouts at least.

"I should've known. I knew it but I guess I didn't want to accept it. I told my father I didn't want to inherit his empire. I didn't want to do it because I was in love and wanted to move away and have a decent family. I felt she needed that. I felt…" the other man kept rambling and it irked Ahmet.

Was Grey kidding him? Rachel was happy being an assassin. She had admired Asli for being the badass she was and was hoping to have an empire herself and train her children with him. Why would he think she wanted to quit?

"Now find out more from them and I will tell you about her whereabouts." He told him. He didn't have the energy to deal with his problem. They would talk about this later but for now, Asli was in trouble and he needed to save her.

In a few minutes, his phone rang again and he quickly picked up when he saw the caller ID.

"The bastards drugged her. The water she drank, I think they slipped something, like an aphrodisiac or something stronger. Maxwell's men were following her until they lost her at the 27 Streetford bridge." Grey told him, but he didn't thank him; instead, he hung off and slammed the accelerator hard. He knew exactly where that address was leading to.

If anyone touched her, he was sure he was going to kill the whole city. Asli was his to kill and his to touch.

He drove like a madman to her warehouse. He saw her car and realized her headlights were still on. He rushed to the car and looked in it. She was shifting uncomfortably in it.

He tried to open it, but it was locked. She was safe, at least. Not the least. She was safe. He exhaled. He removed his wristwatch and extracted the pin that was hidden inside. He unlocked the car.

As the darkness closed in around her, Asli felt a pair of strong arms scoop her up, lifting her off the seat. She tried to struggle, but her limbs felt like lead, refusing to obey her commands.

The next thing she knew, she was being carried into another car, the cool night air rushing past her face. She tried to lift her head, to see where she was being taken, but it felt too heavy, too cumbersome.

Ahmet closed the car door after she was gently laid across the backseat. She tried to sit up, to protest, but a firm hand pressed her back down.

"Easy," the voice was low, smooth, and familiar whispered in her ear. "You're safe now. Just rest."

Her eyelids fluttered closed, her body relaxing into his car seat. She felt the car start to move.

As they drove, the man's voice occasionally broke the silence, his words soft and reassuring. Her mind struggled to focus, to piece together what was happening, but it was no use. She hated this. But she knew the man was Ahmet.

And she hated that he was saving her. She hated that she was defenseless.

Yet, at the same time, she was happy that it was he who had come to save her. There was something about him that made her want to trust him. Maybe it was because she needed help, she wanted to believe.

As he carried her into his secret apartment, he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. He had been blackmailing her for months, trying to get her to sleep with him, but she had never given in. And now, here she was, laid out before him like a sacrifice, her body begging for his touch.

He laid her down on the bed, trying to calm his racing heart. He had never seen her like this before, so vulnerable, so… available. He felt a surge of desire, his body burning with a fire he couldn't ignore.

But as he looked down at her, he felt a pang of guilt. This wasn't how he wanted it to be. He didn't want her to beg him to touch her, well that didn't sound true too, but not like this. He wanted her to want him, to choose him, not to be forced into it by some unknown substance.

He took a step back, trying to clear his head. He couldn't do this. He couldn't take advantage of her like this. But as he looked at her, he saw the desire in her eyes, the pleading. And he felt his resolve weakening.

She reached out a hand, her fingers brushing against his leg. "Please," she whispered, her voice husky with desire. "Touch me."
