Transcending Realities: A Journey to Reclaim Home

Chapter 139: The true past II

Merry Christmas 🎊🎄🎉

"Oh, so you're the one behind everything?" I asked, my voice calm but edged with tension.

"You're absolutely right, boy," Zetsu replied, his tone dark and triumphant. "I was the one pulling the strings from the shadows. Madara, Obito, and even the Akatsuki—they were all just my pawns. Even Indra himself fell under my influence," he added, laughing maniacally.

"Obito? You mean the Obito who supposedly died in the Third Ninja War?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"Yes, that very one," Zetsu confirmed with a sinister grin. "Do you want to know a secret?"

"Yeah," I said warily.

"The man in the mask... he is Obito," Zetsu revealed, his words hanging in the air like a curse.

I stood frozen, disbelief gripping me. "Then… the death of my father… that was because of you and him?" I asked, my voice trembling with anger as I processed the truth.

"Yes," he said, his tone mocking. "What are you going to do about it? A moment ago, you bowed to me, and now you show me this hatred."

My grip on the katana tightened, and I pressed the blade harder against his neck. My voice was steady, but my anger burned through. "I can tolerate many things, but when it comes to my family... I won't forgive."

Zetsu chuckled. "Boy, you can't kill me."

"Maybe not," I said, a sharp gleam in my eyes. "But I can seal you."

Zetsu's laughter echoed through the ruined walls of the Land of Whirlpools, dark and mocking. "Seal me? You think you can stop me that easily, boy? I've existed for centuries—you're nothing but a child waving around a toy sword."

I tightened my grip on the katana and smirked, my eyes narrowing. "I've heard enough. You've been playing with people's lives for far too long. My father, my clan… everyone. You think you can keep hiding in the shadows forever? I'll end your little game right here."

Zetsu's black half shifted, almost blending into the surrounding shadows. "You're bold, I'll give you that. But sealing me? You don't have the knowledge nor the power—"

"We'll see about that." I interrupted, forming a one-handed seal as chakra flared around me. "Don't underestimate me, Zetsu. I studied Fuinjutsu under my mom, and this is my clan's home. You're standing in the place where sealing techniques were born!"

Zetsu's face faltered for a moment, realizing I wasn't bluffing. He tried to retreat into the ground, but I slammed my hand onto the ground.

"Uzumaki Fuinjutsu: Four Pillar Binding Seal!"

Four glowing seals erupted from the ground, forming a square barrier around Zetsu. Massive chains made of chakra erupted, wrapping around him tightly, cutting off his escape.

"W-What?! These are Uzumaki sealing techniques!" Zetsu's white half shouted, writhing against the chains. "How do you—?!"

"I told you already," I said coldly, walking closer as my katana gleamed in the dim light. "This is my clan's legacy. You thought you could manipulate people forever, but you've made a mistake showing yourself to me."

Kurama's voice rumbled in my mind. "Finish it, Naruto. Bind him completely before he slips out."

I nodded, forming another set of seals. "Let's see you laugh now, Zetsu. Adamantine Chains Seal!"

Golden chains burst from my back, the Uzumaki chakra radiating as they wrapped around Zetsu even tighter, merging with the Four Pillar Binding Seal. Zetsu screamed, his form struggling against the chains, but they held fast, glowing brighter as I poured my chakra into them.

"Damn you, boy!" Zetsu snarled, his black and white halves distorting as they fought against the seal.

"But there's one thing I can assure you," I said, my tone sharp but composed. "I can help bring Kaguya back—but you need to tell me everything about how to unseal her."

Zetsu fell silent, clearly deep in thought. After a moment, he nodded. "Fine. At least my mother will return… and that's all I care about," he said, his voice carrying a mix of hope and resolve.

He revealed everything—explaining that the seal was located on the moon, guarded by the remnants of the Hamura Clan. To unseal Kaguya, one would need to awaken the Rinne Sharingan and gather the power of the Ten Tails.

Just as I processed his words, a familiar ding echoed in my ears. I froze. After so many years… I finally received a quest.

I froze for a moment, my mind reeling as the system's notification echoed in my ears.

"Ding!"

------------------------------------------------------------

New Quest: Save Kaguya.

Objective: Unseal Kaguya Ōtsutsuki from the moon's seal.

Reward:Jougun

------------------------------------------------------------

"Jougan... the strongest Dojutsu," I muttered to myself, recalling how that idiot Boruto had received it. I remembered Momoshiki's warning to him—how it would bring nothing but misery. Even Kurama could hear me.

"Aurora, you really gave me a good quest this time," I said, my voice filled with appreciation.

"Anything for you, Naruto," she replied warmly.

"Thank you. You're always so dependable," I said with a smile.

"Hey, brat," Kurama suddenly interrupted, his voice gruff. "Are you seriously going to unseal Kaguya?"

I sighed as Kurama's voice interrupted the moment. His concern was evident, but I knew I had to make this decision on my own.

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. Nothing's gonna go wrong," I said confidently.

"Okay, brat. Just don't come crying to me if you mess up," Kurama warned with his usual gruff tone.

"Oh, please. You're the one who's going to mess things up," I shot back.

We were starting to bicker when Zetsu suddenly interrupted.

"Hey, do whatever you want, but you promised, Naruto," he said, his voice carrying a sense of urgency.

I looked at him, slightly annoyed. "Ah, you're still here?"

Zetsu, still bound by my Wood Style, seemed slightly annoyed but continued speaking. "Yes, I'm still here. And you have your promise, Naruto. You can't back out now. I've given you the knowledge you need. Do what you want, but don't waste my time."

I looked at him, feeling a mix of frustration and resolve. "I didn't forget, Zetsu. But don't think for a second I'm doing this just for you. I have my own reasons for wanting to save Kaguya, and if this leads to something bigger, then so be it."

Kurama let out a growl from within me. "You're stubborn, as always, brat. But don't forget—this isn't just about you or your ideals. You're dealing with forces much bigger than you think."

I waved him off, trying to shake off the tension. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. You're always so serious. But I've got this."

"Then, you can go but you're going to do everything I say," I told Zetsu firmly.

"I thought you were going to seal me," he said, sounding surprised.

"I lost interest after seeing how much you care for your mother," I replied, my tone softening. "I get it now. I would do anything for my family, and you'll do the same for yours."

Zetsu's expression faltered for a moment, his eyes narrowing as he processed my words. His usual smug demeanor cracked slightly, and he seemed caught off guard by my insight.

"You think you know me that well, huh?" Zetsu muttered, but there was an undercurrent of something—maybe regret or hesitation—in his voice.

I stood my ground, staring him down with unwavering resolve. "I understand more than you think. We all have something we're willing to fight for, something that drives us. You're no different. If you're truly devoted to your 'mother'—Kaguya—then you'll do what I ask. Family bonds are stronger than any manipulation or plan."

He scoffed, but there was a flicker of recognition in his eyes, as though my words struck a chord. "Fine," he said reluctantly. "But don't think I'm doing this because you won me over. This is for my mother, and I don't care what happens to me as long as she's free."

I nodded, the tension in the air thickening as I considered my next move. "Good. We both have our reasons."
