Chapter 27: Chapter: punch of reality.
In a dark, damp cave, an old man, connected to multiple oxygen pipes, sits on a stone throne. His frail body is covered by a cloak, and his eyes gleam with malice. Before him stands a white, plant-like creature, its voice echoing faintly in the chamber.
"Madara," White Zetsu begins, "there's an unusual Uchiha in Konoha!"
Madara glares at Zetsu, his voice sharp. "What nonsense are you babbling about, fool?"
White Zetsu continues, unbothered by the insult. "I overheard Uchiha Saruto and his son, Uchiha Kal, talking about Kal's ability. It seems he can see parallel worlds."
Hearing this, Black Zetsu emerges from White Zetsu's body, his tone grim. "This is troubling. Such an ability could jeopardize our plans. I recommend we eliminate both father and son immediately."
Madara's eyes narrow as he considers the warning. After a moment of thought, he nods. "Fine. Investigate them. If they truly pose a threat, I'll deal with them myself."
-------------
White Zetsu bows slightly. "Understood. I'll track their movements."
After a brief reconnaissance, White Zetsu reports back to Madara. "They've left Konoha on a mission. This is our chance."
Madara, merging with Black Zetsu, follows Saruto and Kal. For days, they watch in silence, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Finally, as father and son are deep in conversation, Madara makes his move.
He bursts from the ground with blinding speed, delivering a powerful kick to Saruto and a brutal punch to Kal. The force sends both crashing to the ground.
Without hesitation, Madara rips Kal's heart from his chest. Blood spills onto the earth, and Saruto's eyes widen in horror.
Before Saruto can react, White Zetsu appears, holding Kal's grandmother captive. "You didn't think we forgot about her, did you?" Zetsu sneers, his grip tightening around her throat.
Saruto's grandmother, struggling in Zetsu's grasp, attempts to fight back but is swiftly impaled, her life extinguished in an instant.
Saruto, frozen in disbelief, watches as Kal's Sharingan awakens to two tomoe. The tomoe spin furiously, but before they fully stabilize, Kal collapses. Saruto's heart breaks as his son's life fades before his eyes.
Madara pulls Kal's heart from his lifeless body and turns his attention to Saruto, walking toward him with cold determination.
Suddenly, Kal's eyes evolve into a three-tomoe Sharingan. His body glows faintly green for a moment before falling lifeless to the ground.
Saruto's grief transforms into rage. His Sharingan mutates into the Mangekyō Sharingan. Seeing this, Madara pauses, impressed. "So, you've unlocked it. Interesting."
In his anguish, Saruto activates a unique Mangekyō ability. Kal's body begins to glow brighter with an unnatural green light.
Madara, sensing danger, launches an attack and destroys Saruto's heart with a devastating blow. Yet, Saruto's other Mangekyō technique triggers—a black, spherical surface materializes, engulfing Kal's glowing body.
Madara retreats immediately, wary of the unknown power. The black sphere engulfs Kal completely and vanishes without a trace.
When the dust settles, Saruto's lifeless, headless body lies on the ground. Madara, still on edge, surveys the scene.
"What just happened?" he mutters.
Black Zetsu emerges again, his voice laced with suspicion. "It's likely a dangerous pupil technique—perhaps something designed to eliminate enemies on a massive scale. We need to be cautious."
----------
As the black sphere disappears, taking Kal's glowing body with it, Madara looks around at the destruction. He notices something strange—Saruto's body is on the ground, but his head is missing. Blood spreads where his neck was, and everything feels eerily still.
Madara's eyes narrow. "That technique... it destroyed them both. His son, glowing with power, and even his own head. Interesting... but reckless."
Black Zetsu appears beside him, sounding uneasy. "Saruto's Mangekyō Sharingan must have triggered a technique that wiped them both out. It was meant for you."
Madara stares at the empty space where the sphere had been. "A technique like that... wasted. The Mangekyō Sharingan usually awakens in moments of great pain, but Saruto couldn't control it."
Black Zetsu adds, "We underestimated him. If you hadn't retreated, we might not be standing here."
Madara grits his teeth, frustration mixing with admiration. "Those eyes... if I had taken them before his death, they would have been mine. I didn't expect him to unleash such destruction."
Madara looks at the chaos around him, a brief look of regret flashing across his face before his cold expression returns. "It doesn't matter. His power is gone, but I've learned from it. Next time, I'll take the eyes before they destroy the person who wields them."
