Uchiha's Taijutsu Supreme

Chapter 134: An Unexpected Visitor

The Cloud Village incident ultimately failed to stir up much commotion.

Many Konoha ninja remained oblivious to the matter, basking instead in the peace agreement between Konoha and the Cloud Village, grateful for a period of tranquility.

The ninja who attended that night were all well-known figures in Konoha, including the likes of the Third Hokage, Fuma, Homura, and Sakumo. Even the lowest-ranked Anbu present were at least squad leaders.

However, while the lower-level ninja were unaware of the incident, it sent ripples through the major ninja clans, creating an undercurrent of unease that left Konoha's shadowy corners anything but calm.

The Third Hokage's handling of the situation prompted many clans to abandon their wait-and-see attitude. Setting aside unnecessary pride, they began sending some of their elite members to join the Anbu, signaling their allegiance.

These clans soon realized that while Hiruzen Sarutobi was no Tobirama Senju, when the Hokage decided to discipline a ninja clan, it was done with remarkable ease.

Even a clan as prestigious as the Hyuga, with centuries of history, found themselves humiliated, their former grandeur reduced to whispers of the past.

The only exception was the Uchiha clan, who seemed to take pleasure in metaphorically burying the Hokage's face in the dirt—and occasionally stomping on it.

Some clans, however, felt dissatisfaction with the Third Hokage's heavy-handed tactics. They despised the so-called political wisdom he exhibited and chose a different course of action.

The Hyuga clan, for example, became even more insular. Rather than aligning with the Third Hokage as he had hoped, they expressed their discontent with silent resistance.

Hyuga Clan Compound – Branch Family Quarters

Hyuga Yuto knelt in his home, gazing at his younger brother, who had lost both eyes. His otherwise pure white eyes now glinted with a murderous red hue.

After Hyuga Yen had sacrificed his own eyes, he had not stopped there. He had taken Yuto's younger brother's eyes as replacements for his own.

For most members of the Hyuga clan—whether branch or main family—the purity of their Byakugan depended solely on their genetic expression.

The sole distinguishing mark between them was the cursed seal of the caged bird etched on the foreheads of the branch family.

Yuto's younger brother, being too young and frail, had yet to receive the cursed seal, making him a natural candidate for Yen's eye replacement. As a result, the boy had been plunged into darkness.

Though Tenno promised to find replacement eyes and provide compensation for the boy, his treatment of people as mere tools deeply angered Yuto.

Moreover, Yuto doubted that Tenno would go to the trouble of enlisting Tsunade to perform the intricate eye surgery needed for his brother.

In Fuma's past life, many visual jutsu bloodlines were regarded as "plug-and-play," as if they could be swapped out at will. But only those possessing Hashirama's cells or a strong command of Yang Release, like Obito or Madara, could manage such feats.

Even Sasuke, when receiving Itachi's eyes, had to bandage his own and undergo a lengthy fusion process.

For a mere branch family member of the Hyuga clan, achieving a perfect eye replacement was no simple task. Konoha's medical department was far from robust, and securing a skilled medical ninja required considerable status.

Ironically, the scarcity of medical ninja could be partly attributed to Fuma himself.

Having grown up with Tsunade in a relationship resembling both rivals and friends, Fuma's rapidly advancing strength left her far behind, fueling her pride and driving her to focus her efforts on training rather than organizing a medical division.

It wasn't until Fuma shielded Tsunade from a Tailed Beast Bomb, easing the gap in their rivalry, that she began teaching medical techniques to talented members of the Uchiha clan after moving to their compound.

As a result, several Uchiha kunoichi, despite the clan's reputation for Yin Release and visual prowess, became proficient in medical ninjutsu.

Yuto clenched his fists, consumed by a sense of powerless rage as he looked at his beloved brother's helpless form.

Though he hated the main family with every fiber of his being, the cursed seal on his forehead served as a constant reminder that resistance was futile—a hard-earned lesson from countless branch family sacrifices over the centuries.

Yet, as he recalled Yen's drunken boasts about the events of that fateful night, a powerful figure began to take shape in his mind.

"It seems only Fuma-sama can save my brother. But how do I even begin to ask for his help?"

Yuto fell into deep thought, determined to overcome this challenge for his brother's sake.

........

Uchiha Compound – Residential Area Entrance

Fuma, having visited the Konoha Police Force for the first time in a while, returned to the compound to find an unassuming figure standing silently at the entrance to the residential area.

If not for Fuma's sharp observational skills, he might have missed this man, who blended almost seamlessly with his surroundings.

Several Uchiha clansmen guarding the entrance looked on helplessly, clearly exasperated.

"This guy just stands here, practically invisible, doing nothing. What a weirdo…"

Fuma stroked his chin and approached out of curiosity.

"Aburame Shizan-san, may I ask what brings you here?"

The man was Aburame Shizan, the current head of the Aburame clan. If Fuma hadn't met him at a few jonin meetings and memorized his chakra signature, he might have mistaken Shizan for any other member of the Aburame clan.

The Aburame were known for their uniform appearance: oversized coats, hoods, and dark glasses that obscured their features. The perfect attire for stealth—or looking like suspicious lurkers.

Shizan adjusted his small sunglasses, his tone tinged with slight surprise as he said, "As expected of Fuma-sama. You noticed my presence."

Fuma's face darkened. "It's hard not to notice, given your strong chakra signature—and the fact that you're standing right at the entrance to our residential area."

What Fuma didn't say aloud was that the Aburame's eccentric attire made them stand out more than they realized, looking almost like voyeuristic weirdos.
