Chapter 2: 2 Can't Eat Raw Meat
"Hello, Olivia, are you feeling better?"
"Who's that speaking?"
"I am Moon."
"Moon goddess?"
"Clever."
"Was it you that sent me here?"
"How clever!"
"Could you please send me to a developed world if this has to happen? It's so poor here."
"Come on Olivia, do not focus on the materials. Rich is not equal to happy and poor is not equal to happy."
"Don't try to brainwash me. We do not even have clothes to wear."
Olivia wanted to argue more but she woke up.
She rubbed her eyes, as there seemed to be a voice talking to her in her mind just now.
The Moon Goddess? Was she the mysterious Moon Goddess who possessed great power?
Andrew's cheerful voice suddenly came to her ears. "You're awake finally."
Olivia snapped back to reality.
Only then did she realize that she was actually lying on the wolf's back!
At the sight of Andrew, Olivia remembered the scene where he had just transformed into a giant brown wolf, and she still felt scared.
Andrew ran fast, and the wind whistled past them, leaving the naked Olivia shivering from the cold.
Olivia cautiously sat up.
Andrew found her awake, and asked worriedly, "How do you feel now?"
"I'm fine. Where are you taking me?"
"I'm taking you to find a doctor in the werewolf pack."
Andrew noticed she was cold and immediately stopped.
He placed Olivia on a trunk of a tall tree and gave her a bone knife to protect herself, instructing, "Wait here, I'll be back soon."
Then he jumped down from the tree, landing gracefully on the grass.
Olivia sat on the tree trunk, tightly grasping the bone knife in her hand.
She saw Andrew hiding in the bushes.
A fully satisfied wild boar dozed not far in front of him.
Andrew waited for a moment, until the wild boar completely relaxed and let down its guard, then suddenly pounced out, lightning fast, and bit the wild boar's neck in one swift movement!
Blood sprayed, and the wild boar let out a painful scream.
The wild boar struggled desperately, but ultimately couldn't escape Andrew's fangs and was bitten to death alive.
Olivia, who witnessed it all, was stunned by this hunt.
Such a large wild boar could easily throw her away with just a gentle push.
But Andrew had actually bitten it to death in one go!
Olivia felt like she had to reassess Andrew's strength.
He could easily crush her with just two fingers if he decided to kill her.
For the sake of her personal safety, she should try to avoid provoking him in the future.
Andrew transformed back into human form and walked to the tree, spreading his arms and looking up at Olivia on the tree: "Jump down."
Olivia was very afraid. The tree was so tall.
"I would break a few bones if I jumped from such a height. Could you help me?"
It turned out that his Luna was afraid of heights.
Andrew understood her fear immediately, and agilely climbed the tree, picked up Olivia, and jumped down, landing safely on the ground.
Since Andrew left his parents after reaching adulthood, he had never lived with a female, so he was pretty clueless about his Luna's habits and behaviors.
He must learn more about her as soon as possible.
There were also a few females in the werewolf pack who could tell him how to take care of his Luna.
Andrew used the knife to skin the wild boar,
Then he cleaned the wild boar's skin and wrapped it around Olivia's body, "Now you won't feel cold."
He continued to cut the meat and bones apart.
Suddenly, that familiar voice echoed in her mind.
"Obtained one wild boar skin, trigger newbie quest!
Please collect five animal skins. On the quest completion, newbie packet will be distributed!"
Olivia was stunned.
Newbie quest and newbie packet? What are those?
But the Moon Goddess didn't respond.
She could only wrap herself tighter in the wild boar skin and ponder the answer in her heart.
The raw wild boar skin had a bloody smell, but she had to admit, she felt much warmer, at least she didn't have to run around naked anymore.
Olivia thanked Andrew.
Andrew, looking at her small figure hidden under the wild boar skin, tapped her shoulder gently, "When we get to the werewolf pack, I'll buy you clothes."
She asked Andrew curiously, "What is the werewolf pack?"
"It's where the werewolves live, not too far from here. Whenever I need something, I usually go there to trade or buy it."
"It sounds like a supermarket."
"Supermarket?" Andrew wasn't quite sure about the term, "I've only heard of packs and cities. I have no idea about supermarkets."
Olivia's eyes lit up: "Cities? What's it? Are there humans inside?"
"Humans? I've never heard of them. Those cities were built by beast men. They are powerful but fierce. If you're interested, I can take you there to play sometime."
Olivia didn't know what the cities meant to the beast men, she just thought of it as a normal trip and nodded.
Andrew cut off the tenderest part of the wild boar meat and handed it to Olivia.
Olivia looked at the bloody meat in front of her and was completely overwhelmed even though she was starving.
"I can't eat raw meat."
Andrew said: "It is very fresh and tastes good, hurry up and eat it."
Olivia shook her head in horror: "Oh no! Thanks, but I can't eat raw meat!"
Andrew furrowed his brows: "You don't eat meat? No wonder you're so thin and small. It is bad for your health, eat it quickly."
But no matter what he said, Olivia refused to touch the bloody raw meat.
Andrew couldn't do anything with her and finally could only find some fruit for her.
Olivia ate the fruit with satisfaction.
Andrew looked at her for a moment and suddenly asked: "Are you a vegetarian female, like sheep or rabbit?"
Olivia felt a bit guilty.
She wasn't a sheep or rabbit.
She was a human!
But Andrew had never seen a human, she didn't know what the consequences would be if she revealed the truth, so she vaguely answered: "I'm an omnivorous animal."
"You mean you can eat both meat and vegetables?"
Olivia nodded.
"Then why didn't you eat the meat just now?"
Olivia, with a mouthful of apple, explained, "I just don't eat raw meat. If it's cooked meat, I actually quite like it."
"Cooked meat? How do you prepare for it? Tell me, I'll cook it for you!"
Andrew was a confirmed carnivore, he had to eat meat every day, or he'd get sick!
He would never let his Luna get sick.
There were no pots here, so cooking or stewing meat was out of the question.
The best they could manage was a makeshift roast.
"First, we need fire."
"Fire?"
Olivia asked cautiously, "Have you ever seen fire before?"
