Vendetta System

On his way home, Hyunsoo accidentally ran into Choi Daehoon and his gang, who were hanging out and smoking with Choi Daehoon's girlfriend. Hyunsoo was terrified at the sight of his bully, despite having built up some courage. Choi Daehoon spotted Hyunsoo and ordered his subordinate to bring him over.

Hyunsoo (panicked after seeing Choi Daehoon and his gang):

"Oh no, it's Choi Daehoon and his guys! What do I do?"

Choi Daehoon (seeing Hyunsoo and ordering his subordinate to bring him over):

"Whoa, there's our prey! Hey, Jiwoon, get Hyunsoo over here!"

Kang Jiwoon (approaching and dragging Hyunsoo):

"Hahahaha, Hyunsoo, where have you been? All sweaty? Scared? Or... come on, let's go!"

Choi Daehoon then called Hyunsoo over to his group. Hyunsoo, forced to comply, had no choice. He was still thin and small. At their hangout spot,

Kang Jiwoon (bringing Hyunsoo to their hangout):

"Here he is, Choi Daehoon! What should we do with this kid?"

Choi Daehoon (forcing Hyunsoo to light a cigarette):

"Hyunsoo, you're such a nerd, you know? How about a cigarette? Hahahahahaha!"

Hyunsoo:

"Sorry, Choi Daehoon, I don't smoke. Smoking is bad."

Choi Daehoon (grabbing Hyunsoo's face):

"Hey, Hyunsoo, are you mocking me, huh? Smoke this cigarette or you'll be sorry!"

Hyunsoo was forced to light a cigarette, but he refused and was further pressured by Choi Daehoon. Hyunsoo eventually lit the cigarette and coughed violently.

Seojin (seeing Hyunsoo coughing):

"Ugh, disgusting! Hey, you, Hyunsoo, don't face this way!"

His gang laughed at Hyunsoo. After being laughed at and berated, Hyunsoo left, feeling sad and crying. Even though Hyunsoo had gained new skills, his thin and small frame wasn't enough to overpower Choi Daehoon.

However, the incident was witnessed by Minseok. Minseok saw Hyunsoo being forced and insulted. Angry, Minseok approached Choi Daehoon and his gang. Wearing a bandana as a mask, he ran forward and leaped, performing a taekwondo kick aimed at Choi Daehoon's face. Choi Daehoon was sent flying.

Choi Daehoon (thrown back and looking at Minseok):

"Hey, where's your brain, huh? My face is all dirty, you bastard!"

After Minseok kicked Choi Daehoon in the face, he left. A furious Choi Daehoon punched the nearby wall. He ordered his subordinates to find out who was wearing the bandana.

After the incident, Hyunsoo went home and drank some water. He was still upset about Choi Daehoon forcing him and insulting him. Hyunsoo then saw another quest that read: Defeat Choi Daehoon's subordinate. A little information: Choi Daehoon's subordinate in question is Kim Minhoo. He wasn't actually as strong as Choi Daehoon's other subordinates. Kim Minhoo only followed because of the money.

Hyunsoo (seeing the quest):

"Huh, defeating Kim Minhoo, Choi Daehoon's subordinate? How am I supposed to defeat Kim Minhoo?"

Hyunsoo (seeing the system, realizing he could upgrade his punch strength, he upgrades it):

"Oh, yeah, I forgot this system has upgrades too? Wow... just like in a game!"

As he activated the upgrade, a warm, pulsing sensation flowed through his arm. His vision blurred for a moment, then he saw his right hand bathed in a fiery red light. It wasn't real fire, but a hot, pulsing energy.

Hyunsoo stood in the middle of his room, his hand clenched tightly, and tried to punch, swinging his arm forward. Suddenly, his system beeped: "Caution, your body is still very weak!" And after Hyunsoo ignored his system and swung his arm, a red, fiery light erupted. When he punched, his body was thrown back as the system had warned. His body wasn't strong enough to handle the power, but his room was now a mess.

Hyunsoo (surprised):

"I was thrown back? But my room is all messed up? Is it because my body is still weak? Is this enough to defeat Kim Minhoo?"

Hyunsoo's grandmother (knocking on Hyunsoo's door and telling him to eat):

"Hyunsoo, what's all that noise in your room? Are you alright, Hyunsoo? If you're hungry, there's food on the table."

After trying out his upgraded punch, Hyunsoo was surprised. He was happy, but his body was still weak. He went to the living room to eat with his grandmother.

The next day, Hyunsoo saw the quest again: defeat Kim Minhoo. Hyunsoo was very confused about whether to accept it, but for revenge, he would. Whether he or Kim Minhoo would be battered was another matter.

Hyunsoo (with a sullen face):

"This system's quests are so harsh! Yesterday it was running 5km shirtless, now it's defeating Kim Minhoo?"

Hyunsoo left the house and searched for Kim Minhoo. He found him extorting a middle school student. Hyunsoo, remembering the incident where Kim Minhoo took his money, approached cautiously. The child ran away. Kim Minhoo was furious at losing his ill-gotten gains.

Kim Minhoo (extorting the middle school student):

"Where's the protection money, huh? This area belongs to Choi Daehon. You have to pay if you want to hang around here."

Middle school student (terrified while being extorted):

"I'm sorry, I don't have any more money. This is all I have. Please don't hurt me."

Hyunsoo (approaching Kim Minhoo):

"Kim Minhoo, please don't extort this child. Don't hurt him. Hurt me instead if you want."

Kim Minhoo (annoyed that the child escaped):

"Hyunsoo, do you have a brain? The kid ran away, so you want me to beat you up? You're small and weak. Better kneel and pay up!"

Hyunsoo was terrified; his hands and feet trembled uncontrollably. He wanted to complete the quest, but Kim Minhoo grabbed his neck. Hyunsoo was helpless, so he bit Kim Minhoo's hand. The system then displayed Kim Minhoo's stats:

Back to the fight. After biting Kim Minhoo, Hyunsoo, despite his trembling hands, prepared to punch him. A faint red glow emanated from his fist, and with a "Brukk!" sound, his punch landed.

Hyunsoo (successfully punching Kim Minhoo, whispering to himself):

"I'm sorry, Kim Minhoo. This wasn't intentional. It's for the quest."

Kim Minhoo (angry and emotional):

"Damn it, Hyunsoo! You ruined my handsome face! Take this!"

Kim Minhoo, though knocked down, stood up and prepared to strike again. But as he swung, Hyunsoo used his quick dash skill. The system announced "(Quick Dash Active)," and Hyunsoo dodged, landing another punch that sent Kim Minhoo flying into a wall.

Hyunsoo (having defeated Kim Minhoo, breathlessly):

"I... I defeated Kim Minhoo! Is the quest complete?"

The system announced, "Quest completed. You have gained a body transformation."

Hyunsoo (hearing the system):

"What!! Body transformation? What's happening to my body? What should I do? Why haven't I changed?"

The system responded, "Don't be impatient. The transformation will occur tomorrow."

Hyunsoo (hearing the system again):

"Tomorrow? Okay. The important thing is I defeated Kim Minhoo and completed the quest."

After the fight, Hyunsoo returned home. As he was about to open the door, a female neighbor, Baek Suzy, around his age, approached him with food for him and his grandmother. She was very kind.

Baek Suzy (bringing food for Hyunsoo):

"Hyunsoo, I brought food for you and your grandmother. Don't forget to eat it..."

Hyunsoo (receiving the food from Baek Suzy):

"Wow... Thank you! I will. Don't worry."

Baek Suzy (seeing Hyunsoo's battered face):

"Hyunsoo, what happened to your face? Did someone bully you? Did you get into a fight?"

Hyunsoo:

"No, I fell in the park. See? I can still smile! Hahaha."

They both laughed heartily. Hyunsoo then went inside, ate with his grandmother, and went to his room, still thinking, "Body transformation?" The system said to wait until tomorrow...?
