Villain: The Villain Sovereign System

"Ser Alex, I gave you face earlier when this young man tried to cause trouble in this hall. But now this is getting quite embarrassing, isn't it?" Luis stood up and looked towards Alexander Albonn, who was indeed a little embarrassed after Aaron's performance tonight. "May I ask who this young man is and why is he actively trying to fall into trouble with His Honourable Mikael? Especially in my home?"

He stressed the last words, and Alexander was forced to stand up and bow to him.

"My apologies, Viscount Fletcher. He's young and bold and has a lot to learn. I will make sure he understands his mistakes today."

Though displeased, Aaron stayed silent as he realised that no one was looking at him with kindness anymore. He was way too blunt with his words just now.

"As for who he is, he is my trusted and the adopted son of an old friend of mine. I hope you will forgive him for his rudeness this time."

Luis frowned when he saw the behaviour of Alexander. It did not feel like the man was truly apologetic.

However, before he could say anything, a guard rushed inside the Hall, walked straight to him, and whispered something in his ear.

After he nodded, the guard spoke into the handheld radio.

Seconds later, a squad of National Security Forces entered the room, and they all approached the Albbon table and pointed their weapons at the Son of Luck.

"Mercenary Aaron Stone, Leader of the Blood Fang Mercenary Group of Huaxia, you are under arrest for the murder of your comrade and friend, John Harper," The person leading the squad showed his badge and spoke, and suddenly everyone felt suffocated by their presence as they unleashed their Auras.

Every single one of them was, at least, in the Sixth Profound Realm.

Before Aaron could even react, the phones inside the Hall started buzzing and everyone received messages.

Mikael too feigned confusion and checked his phone, where he had received a message about Aaron Stone's details and the surveillance footage from an unknown number.

Everyone was left in dismay after looking at its content and looked at the Son of Luck in disbelief.

Alexander too was stunned after checking his phone and looked at Aaron with complicated eyes.

"Ser Alex! What does this mean? You brought a Mass Killer to my home?!" Luis went ballistic with rage, and the guards inside the hall immediately stepped forward to protect their employers.

Some people even looked toward the table where the Sterling Family was supposed to be present, and they finally understood the reason behind their absence.

This Mercenary had come to Sylvor City to kill them, and Alexander Albonn had given him shelter in his home...

The ladies at the Zarayne's table were shocked as well, and Grisha looked at her Father-in-Law in disbelief.

He wanted to wed her daughter to a Mercenary?

She felt dizzy as the thought crossed her mind, and Stephen, who too had received the message, was trembling with a pale face, and if it was not for Raeya hugging him, he would have screamed in fear.

The scene where Aaron had pulled the heart out of John's chest was too vivid and terrifying.

Though he did not scream, other people in the Hall did, especially some ladies who had watched the clip.

Added to the story that Mikael had created about Aaron and his Mother, where he presented the latter as a greedy girl, who had become Boris' favoured and intended to use a child to grab a piece of the Sterling Family's wealth, everyone was staring at the Son of Luck with strange eyes.

Aaron, when he read what was written in the message about his mother, had a very ugly expression on his face, and his eyes were bloodshot.

"This is a lie! My mother was forced by Boris!" He screamed, perhaps trying to justify things to himself, and as soon as he spoke, he realised his mistake. "Fake, this is all fake..."

The men from NFS immediately grabbed him and dragged him away. His outburst had just confirmed to everyone that he was indeed a bastard, and with their resources, the people in the Hall could easily confirm everything else. Especially because they knew the name of the victim as well.

A few NSF Officers stayed behind and surrounded Alexander.

"Ser Alex, please come with us. We need to investigate your involvement in this matter. The Sterling Family has named you an accomplice of Aaron Stone."

"I..." The Old Man wanted to say something but sighed and followed the Officers.

Alastair Albonn wanted to go with his father and ask where they were taking him, but the Officers did not allow him to come nor did they answer his questions.

The Hall was in turmoil after this episode, and a lot of people were stunned at what just happened.

For minutes, no one knew how to react, and a lot of people were busy making calls and gathering information.

Alastair looked very distressed and immediately left the venue after apologising to the City Lord and Count Romanio.

Grisha wanted to go with him, but he asked her to stay with their children, and seeing her state, Mikael stood up.

He apologised to the City Lord and Count Romanio and then asked Archer to bring the gifts he and Maria had prepared for Jose.

There was a painting from his collection, and Maria had gifted an antique piece, a five-hundred-year-old statue of Buddha, which was worth over 10 million.

Once Jose expressed his happiness at the gifts and thanked them for it, Maria and Mikael excused themselves and left the venue, taking Grisha and Stephen with them.

Raeya immediately called her Uncle and invited him to come over to the Villa with his family, which he accepted.

When they reached home, they noticed that there was a lot more security here and even people from the Military.

They knew that Mikael's Father and Older Brother had sent these men, and their presence really made Stephen feel safer.

The family sat in the lounge in deep silence with both Mikael and Maria busy on the sides, gathering information on their phones.

An hour later, Edwin Albonn and his two wives and sons arrived at the Villa, and all of them looked even more unsettled than Grisha and Stephen.

"Thank God I went to the Police in the afternoon and filed a case against Aaron. Otherwise, they would have taken me and Alastair in custody as well," The man, who was wearing an arm sling, sighed, and his words answered a lot of questions they had.

"Father was taken advantage of, Edwin. I am sure he did not know that Aaron was a Mercenary." His older wife, Anne, comforted him, but the man was still very worried.

Mikael, who was walking over, suddenly heard his phone ring, and he frowned at the Caller ID.

"Yes, Ryan?"

As soon as everyone in the lounge heard the name he took, they understood that it was the future Heir of the Sterling Family who had called him.

"Mikael, for old time's sake, please be honest with me." The young man on the other side sounded very anxious.

"Yes?"

"Are the Albonns after my Family?" He anxiously asked, and the Young Zarayne sighed.

"Edwin Albonn and his family are in front of me right now, Ryan. All I can tell you is that they are all shocked and are in disbelief at what happened today. Alastair Albonn was just as taken aback as us. None of them knew Aaron's truth, and I am sure even Old Albonn did not know that he was a Mercenary. You can rest assured that the Albonns are not Aaron's accomplices. Old Albonn trusted his friend and was just helping his adopted son. His trust was betrayed."

"I will trust you, Brother," He sighed. "Thank you."

"Ryan."

"Yes?"

"Is he really your Uncle?" Mikael frowned, and the Young Man on the other end helplessly sighed again.

"Yeah, it seems to be the case. The Old Man admitted to it, but we are still looking into things."

"I see. Good night."

"Good night."

Mikael shook his head after the call ended and took a deep breath.

"It's the mess. The authorities are anxious. Apparently, the Blood Wolf Mercenary Gang is very famous and has committed very nefarious deeds," He informed them. "Everyone that Aaron associated with since coming back to Dragonia is being taken in for questioning. Elder Bai Yuan has been called in for questioning as well."

Their faces became even more solemn after hearing his words.

"Please, rest easy. You are safe here. I am going out and won't be back until tomorrow evening," He told them and walked away.

"Mikael," Raeya immediately stood up and walked over to him, "Where are you going?"

"I need to make sure some people are safe. I will be fine. There are fears that the members of the Blood Wolf Gang are here in the City, and they might retaliate. Chances of it happening are very low, but you can't take risks when terrorists are involved."

"Can't your men do it?" She frowned, looking very anxious.

"I will be fine." He smiled and planted a kiss on her head. "Don't forget to eat." He told Klara, who had skipped lunch today, and she obediently nodded to him.

When he arrived outside, the cars were already waiting for him, and he left the Villa in the silence of night.

"The target has been secured, Master," Archer informed him, and he nodded his head before checking the System Prompts he had received when he left the City Lord's Manor.
