Chapter Thirteen: The House With Bad Atmosphere

At Norton's home, Norton and Gwen were sitting on the sofa watching TV.

"Look, that's me!" Gwen pointed to the TV, where the news showed her Ghost Spider incarnation flying between buildings, rescuing those about to be crushed by falling rubble. Gwen waved her hand happily, then shouted excitedly, "It's your turn!"

A red figure resembling a human-shaped unicorn appeared in front of the camera, taking only three seconds to save people and defeat the Green Goblin. The news was praising this figure, calling him the "Unicorn God." Especially when this title was directly marked in the headlines, Norton was left speechless with a headache.

"Norton, you are so cool!" Gwen hugged Norton excitedly. 

Norton felt the warmth of her embrace, and a smile began to spread across his face. He turned to look at Gwen, and she became quiet under his gaze. The two looked at each other, and the atmosphere gradually heated up. They approached slowly, and when their lips were about to touch...

"Beep!" The doorbell rang.

They were interrupted instantly, and Gwen turned away, her face reddening. This girl was sometimes really shy and sometimes proactive; Norton really couldn't understand.

When Norton went to the door, he was curious about who would dare interrupt their moment. Upon opening the door, he was greeted with a touch of silver.

"Hi~" Felicia waved her hand, smiling in a way that said, "I've arrived."

"Damn!" Norton reacted by trying to close the door, but Felicia quickly put her foot in the door to keep it from closing. 

Norton thought it was troublesome. Of all times, why did she come now? He had given her the potion just a few hours ago, and now she was at his doorstep, with Gwen at home.

"Norton, who is it?" Gwen asked from behind him, confused.

"Gwen, it's me," Felicia said before Norton could reply. 

Upon hearing Felicia's voice, Gwen's smile vanished momentarily before reappearing. She patted Norton's shoulder kindly, saying, "What are you doing? Why don't you let her in to sit down?"

Norton had no choice but to open the door for Felicia. Once inside, Gwen hugged Felicia "happily."

"Felicia, it's been a long time! Why did you suddenly come to my boyfriend's house?" Gwen asked, still smiling as if she were a hospitable hostess.

"Well, it was definitely your boyfriend who invited me over." Felicia said, giving Norton a wink.

Gwen's face froze as she turned to Norton, narrowing her eyes and asking in a not-so-pleasant tone, "Really?"

Norton touched his neck in embarrassment, expressing his acquiescence. After all, he told Felicia that she could come when she was free, which meant she was free now. So he held himself accountable and admired his honesty. "I won't disturb you?" Gwen asked Felicia. "Definitely not, but Norton will teach me the fighting techniques later, and there will inevitably be some... physical contact during the process."

Felicia's words undoubtedly hit the nail on the head, and the immature Gwen lost in this small war. Just when the two were about to argue, Norton hurriedly stood up to avoid Lu Xiaobu's happy scene. After Norton explained the situation, Gwen's anger subsided a little. "Why do you need an assistant? If you want an assistant, I can do it too."

Norton hugged Gwen in his arms, and Gwen was very happy being hugged. She thought it would make Felicia give up, but sadly, Felicia was far less fragile than she thought. "Gwen, this world is far from being as peaceful as we imagined. There is definitely an unexpected crisis brewing in the dark, so we need more heroes. Felicia is very capable." After Norton finished speaking, he felt like he could tell stories effortlessly. After hearing this, Gwen thought it made sense.

"Are you sure you want to come?" Norton asked Gwen. Just now, Gwen offered to let her teach Felicia, and he also asked if the system was feasible. It seems his system did not want him to be hacked and agreed. "Then definitely, I'm not bad at fighting techniques," Gwen said proudly, with her hands on her waist.

"Okay then, I'll make you some tea." After Norton went downstairs, Gwen and Felicia looked at each other. Gwen took the lead and said, "You attack first, don't say I bully you." Gwen was quite upset now. She knew that Felicia had been pursuing Norton for almost four years. So as his girlfriend, she was naturally upset.

"Alright then." As soon as Felicia finished speaking, she swung her fist at Gwen. The speed of the punch was beyond ordinary, and only the shadow of the fist could be seen with the naked eye. Gwen was startled; she raised her hand to block the punch and said in surprise, "Norton is right; you are indeed very capable. Your punch has at least a ton of power." "You will be more surprised."

After finishing speaking, Felicia raised her leg and attacked Gwen's abdomen. A few years ago, to pursue Norton, she diligently practiced fighting techniques for a long time. Since Norton gave her this chance, she would not let it go and would not stop her efforts because of Gwen's existence.

Norton, who was making tea downstairs, felt the commotion upstairs and sighed. "It's really a house with a bad atmosphere, and it's not good to go home."
