Wasn’t This Supposed to Be an Erotic Game?

Chapter 15

The child’s body was painfully horrific.

Rotting down to the bone, a foul and filthy stench wafted around, and her skin was oozing with pus and slime that flowed endlessly.

It was a ghastly smell that could make anyone’s nose wrinkle, yet I didn’t flinch.

I’ve seen enough horror movies, right?

No need to make a fuss over this.

“Aaaagh!! Aaaah!! Aah…”

At first, the young girl’s screams were filled with pain, but they gradually started to fade.

The sound of bones, flesh, skin, and blood vessels being rearranged by my skill filled the room.

Rotten bones regenerated, and the decayed muscles and veins transformed back into neat forms.

The skin that had been spewing slime and pus transformed into a clean, white surface, and her frazzled hair, which looked like it had been nibbled by rats due to pain, grew back neatly.

Her face, once all gaunt, was restored, and finally, perhaps due to not being able to eat or sleep because of pain, some flesh and muscle returned to her emaciated figure, completing my modifications.

I lifted her up, now transformed into a new and clean version of herself.

“M-mom… Dad…”

With trembling hands, she began to feel her body all over.

Perhaps due to the pus and slime, she was completely unclothed.

Thus, everyone in the room witnessed her wonderfully restored body.

“I… I’m not in pain anymore. I…”

“Cecilia!! Ohhhh!! Oh, my daughter! My daughter!!”

Her mother rushed to her and embraced her.

The daughter, in turn, hugged her mother.

The mother began to shed tears, and soon the daughter started crying as well.

But it wasn’t over yet.

“This isn’t finished yet.”

I pulled Mrs. Scrooge and Scrooge toward me and took their hands one by one.

“W-what are you trying to do… ugh!!”

With a cracking sound of bodies being reassembled, the couple began to undergo my modifications as well.

As I had thought.

Hadn’t I just said I suppressed the contagion with medicine?

Thanks to that, the infectious rot didn’t spread, but both had suffered psychologically and physically while paying for their daughter’s treatment, leaving them in a dire state.

Plus, Mrs. Scrooge was even struggling with pneumonia, and her lungs were utterly wrecked.

I wiped it all away in an instant.

Scrooge, beaten down by reality to the point of grotesquely aging, had his skin and hair restored neatly. Now he looked like an ordinary middle-aged man.

Mrs. Scrooge was the same.

No more coughing for her.

Instead, she had transformed into a dignified middle-aged woman with radiant skin and long hair.

Once I had treated both of them entirely, they quietly stepped back, and at that moment, a thunderous cheer erupted from behind me.

“Lilia of Grace! O Goddess!”

“It’s the Saint!! Truly, truly the Saint!”

The clerics and knights from the Lilia Church, witnessing my game skills for the first time, fell to the ground, tears streaming down their faces.

The Vice President had a blank expression as if his soul had left him.

“I believe! Punish me for doubting you even momentarily! Ahh! O Goddess!! O Goddess!!”

The police, taking off their hats, looked at me in awe, and the knights from the Sun Church were uncharacteristically teary-eyed.

Amidst all this weeping and wailing,

“Hmph! Fraud! Do you think I would believe you?”

Scrooge’s sharp voice pierced my ears.

I turned to look at Jonathan Karma.

He was gazing at his daughter, wife, and his own body with a face full of suspicion.

“Do you think you’re the only one who knows about fake Saints?”

His pointed, harsh voice was enough to turn the emotional scene into an inquisition instantaneously.

“You impious one!! How dare you challenge the Saint!!”

“Are you blaspheming the Goddess of Grace!”

The knights of the Lilia Church instantly readied their weapons, and the police and Sun Church knights openly showed their disgust.

But Scrooge didn’t care one bit.

“Shut up! If you all gather around and yell like that, do you think I would be fooled?! I’ve suffered countless times until now!! If I fall for it again, I’m the fool here!!”

Scrooge darted over to a corner of the room and brought back a bunch of stuff.

Scrolls. Magical potions. A strange-looking wand I had never seen before. A mirror with peculiar magical markings.

All sorts of items.

“Just wait until this gets exposed!! This fraud! I’ll report you immediately!! You’re going to die by my hand!!”

Scrooge said that as he pulled out potions and sprayed them on his daughter, wife, and himself.

And then he started waiting with a smug look on his face.

Five minutes passed.

For the first time, cracks appeared in Scrooge’s confident expression.

“No reaction. Apparently, that was a pretty good trick.”

He shot me a derisive grin before preparing his next move.

“If I tear this scroll, it will be different!! I spent a lot of money on this dispel scroll!!”

The scroll tore.

But still, the three of them showed no signs of change.

Scrooge’s face quivered even more.

“Th-this!! If I use this mirror, your fraud will be revealed!! If I use this!”

He looked through the magical-marked mirror at his daughter and wife’s bodies.

His breaths grew increasingly ragged.

“If I use this… if I use this, your deceit will be uncovered… will be uncovered…”

Scrooge kept trying this and that, but there was still no change.

The daughter still looked pristine, while his wife was the same.

“This is a true miracle… There can’t be a real Saint. They all must have stolen my money… No, it can’t be. There can’t be a real one…”

Scrooge was now crying.

For the final trial, he waved a bizarre-looking wand in the air, but when nothing changed, Jonathan Karma collapsed to the floor, choking back tears like a small child.

The knights and clerics, who had been angry, finally bowed their heads solemnly.

I approached the weeping Jonathan.

And I quietly embraced him.

He clung to me fiercely.

“Why!……… Why did you come now!! Why!!…. Why not earlier… earlier!!……..”

“I’m sorry. It’s all my fault.”

There were no further replies.

“Dad!”

“Honey!!”

His wife and daughter rushed in.

We four tangled together, and Jonathan Karma’s family seemed intent on shedding all their sorrows, crying for a long while.

I hugged the three of them tightly.

Just hearing about what they had been through was more than enough to understand their struggles.

After suffering so much, a bit of happiness shouldn’t be a problem, right?

After nearly 30 minutes of non-stop sobbing, Jonathan seemed to finally calm down.

Alright.

I could probably ask for just a little more time to gather the money, and they might agree?

“Saint! I will just offer up my factory site! Please, take it!! Just take it and use it!”

No, wait a moment.

This isn’t right.

I’m supposed to make the Lilia Church spend the money!!

I need to invest in your trash land and make a loss!!

“Since the Goddess of Grace has granted me my most desired wish, I will also give you the most precious thing to me! Just take it! I will donate my factory site as a tithe!!”

“No, Mr. Jonathan Karma. That’s not….”

“It’s a miracle!”

“The grace looks down upon us!!”

With the shouts from the priests of the Lilia Church, my words were completely cut off.

Before I could even do anything, a contract stating that Jonathan Karma would donate the factory site and everything in it to the church had already been signed with his and Vice President Yodel’s names.

In an instant,

the Lilia Church gained the entire massive factory site in the heart of the capital without any loss.

***

I was once again leading countless followers toward the recently legally acquired factory site of the Lilia Church.

A filthy and dirty land covered in industrial waste and garbage.

What the hell.

I was planning to force the church to spend money, yet they just got it for free.

But that’s okay.

There are plenty of opportunities to make them spend money.

“Clear the trash, demolish the factory, and start digging up the land.”

“You want us to dig?”

“Deeply. Dig as deep as you can. And build a tall temple!”

Coming to the capital, it seemed there was technology for reinforced concrete, as I easily saw 5 to 6 stories buildings around.

I planned to build a high-rise temple and live extravagantly.

The costs for demolishing the factory, cleaning the trash, and hiring workers to dig would amount to significant money—and time spent too.

While throwing away that blood-earned money to build a temple and then living indefinitely lavishly on top of it, I thought perhaps the Vice President Yodel would slap me and walk out!

“Start immediately……..”

“The Saint commands us to dig deep and build a high temple!! Let’s clear the trash!! It is the Goddess’s will!”

My grand plan unraveled as Vice President Yodel began shouting.

As soon as Yodel shouted, an immense number of the poor rushed in from everywhere.

Looking closely, these were all people I had treated.

“Let’s repay the grace from the Saint!”

A huge crowd quickly came to help clear the factory.

Of course, there was not a soul in sight who wanted to receive payment.

“Form a line! You will enter and clean up, then exit in order!! Got it?”

The knights of the Sun Church and police controlled the crowd to prevent any accidents.

“Go and buy some food! Right now!! We need to provide food for those working!!”

Vice President Yodel and the knights and priests of the Lilia Church went to buy food.

Me?

“Saint!! Bestow your grace!! The child is in pain!”

“Mother is coughing up blood! O Saint!!”

Now accustomed to it after a few times, a long line naturally formed in front of me.

This isn’t how it’s supposed to be.

Shit.

But it’s alright.

The costs of demolishing the building would probably be substantial.

Look at that huge factory.

It would take at least a few months to demolish that thing.

With the costs for waste disposal and labor, the Lilia Church would be spending a fortune.

That’s surely going to happen.

As I thought about this while treating the poor,

I suddenly felt an overwhelming dread seize my entire body.

A Witch!!

The four-armed nuclear bomb of a witch!!

No!! I made her with just two arms, so why does she have four again!!

What is she doing here!!

“Saint!!”

The witch spotted me and gleefully dashed toward me before I could do anything.

And she hugged me tightly.

The scent of a woman wafted from her, a shocking surprise for a lonely guy like me.

“I wanted to see you!”

The witch shouted with an overly happy face as she looked at me.

I froze and couldn’t muster a proper response.

“What brought you here?”

Yeah!! Why did you come! I don’t want to see you again!! I don’t have a hobby of living next to a bomb!!

“The Mage Tower accepted me back. Tomorrow, I will be officially declared the next Mage Tower Head! I wanted to share the good news… so I came here. Is there anything I can help with?”

The Mage Tower accepted you back?

The next Mage Tower Head?

No, weren’t you a Dark Magician???

Back then, a knight had said there was no witch like you in the Mage Tower.

It didn’t seem like a knight from the Sun Church would lie.

What the heck is going on?

While chaos and pandemonium danced around my head, the witch observed the factory site, which was in the process of being cleaned.

“You need to hurry up and demolish the factory!! There will be a lot of work to do, so we must move quickly!!”

Did she hear Vice President Yodel shouting at the poor folks working? The witch smiled at me.

“You’re planning to demolish that factory?”

“Yes.”

“I can do it for you!”

In a flash, the witch seemed to use teleportation and disappeared before my eyes.

Unlike me, who was panting from lack of mental capacity due to just using Time Stop, she was a true witch.

And after a moment, the witch appeared right in front of me, as if it was only natural.

She held a large permit in her hand and said, “This is the magic usage permit and the demolition permit! You need to have a permit to use large-scale magic in the capital! Just wait. I’ll make that factory disappear immediately!!”

No.

Wait a minute.

What happened to my plan to make the Lilia Church spend money on demolishing the factory?

My plan to make them lose out on cleaning up that trash?

No, stop, you witch!!

But before I could stop her, the witch was already sprinting toward the factory site.

She showed her permits to the police controlling the crowds and said something, and in an instant, they evacuated the workers who were cleaning up.

Once the evacuation was done,

“Oh my god!”

“Unbelievable!! No way!!”

The witch drew her wand and waved it, and with it, the massive factory was lifted into the air completely.

No.

It wasn’t just the factory.

The industrial waste and trash that the poor had been laboring over were lifted as well.

And just like that, the factory and trash were whisked away to who-knows-where in an instant.

In just a day,

the abandoned factory overflowing with waste and garbage became a neatly cleaned vacant lot.

Shit.

This is not how it’s supposed to be!
