Chapter 31: Side Story: Amazing Spider-Man (3)
Peter sat at his desk, typing feverishly into his personal computer. The screen was filled with search results about the strange girl now occupying his room—Baobhan Sith.
His heart skipped a beat as he read the folklore:
[Baobhan Sith: A female fairy from Scottish Highlands, known for their beauty and deadly allure. They seduce their victims before draining their life force]
He glanced nervously at the girl lounging on his bed, absorbed in a manga.
'She's not going to kill me… right?' Peter thought, suppressing a shiver.
In a moment of desperation, Peter opened a private chat with his new friend.
______________
Spider-Man: "Brother Shin, I need to ask you something."
Shin: "Sure, what's up?"
Spider-Man: "Remember the surprise box discussion we had in the group chat?"
Shin: "Yup. Did it explode or something?"
Spider-Man: "Worse. I summoned someone, and now she's taken over my room."
Shin: "Wait… are you bragging about your new girlfriend? Dude, you should save that for Kazuma or Jiraiya."
Spider-Man: "No, this is serious! Her name's Baobhan Sith. Ever heard of her?"
Shin: "Baobhan Sith… wait, does she know about the Holy Grail?"
Spider-Man: "She does. Why? What's going on?"
Shin: "Hang tight for a sec. I'll look her up."
_____________
Satria's POV
Satria leaned back in his chair. "Fatalis, search my memory for information on Baobhan Sith."
A voice echoed from within.
[Fatalis: Do I look like Google to you?!]
"Shut up and get to work, you neet dragon," Satria retorted.
[Fatalis: Neet?! You dare call me that, you crybaby puppy?!]
"Who are you calling a crybaby puppy, you Neet-Dragon?! Get moving!"
The insults flew until Fatalis grumbled and finally dug through Satria's knowledge.
___________
Spider-Man: "Hello? Brother Shin, are you still there?"
Shin: "Sorry, technical difficulties. Anyway, here's the deal: Baobhan Sith is a member of the Knights of the Round Table from Fae Britain. She assumed the Saint Graph of Tristan and served as a fairy knight. If you want more details, payment is required—preferably a Big Mac and a large Coke."

Peter sighed and dialed McDonald's.
Baobhan Sith watched Peter with a raised eyebrow as he hung up.
"What are you doing, Master?" she asked suspiciously.
"Ordering food," Peter replied nonchalantly.
"For a girl other than me?" Her tone turned icy, making Peter sweat.
"No! It's for someone else. A friend. A male friend!"
Baobhan's eyes narrowed. "A male friend? Don't tell me… you walk that path? Is that why you won't share the bed with me?"
"I'M NOT GAY!" Peter nearly screamed, his face beet red.
"Then why the secrecy?"
"It's personal."
Baobhan grabbed his face, forcing him to look directly at her. Her proximity made Peter's heart race.
"Tell me the truth, Master," she whispered. "If you do, I'll reward you."
Before Peter could stammer out a response, the doorbell rang. "The food's here!" he blurted, escaping the room.
As he walked to the door, Peter clutched his chest. 'Why does my heart race whenever she's close? This is dangerous.'
___________
Peter sent the food to Satria, who replied almost immediately.
Shin: "Thanks for the offering, dear customer. Now, here's what you need to know: Baobhan Sith is the daughter of Morgan le Fay and a former kind-hearted fairy who was betrayed by her people. After being savagely attacked and left limbless, Morgan found her and adopted her. Unfortunately, Morgan was a terrible mother who praised her only when she tormented the weak. Baobhan is broken but not beyond repair. And guess what? You might be the one who can fix her."
Spider-Man: "Thanks, Shin."
______________
Peter returned to his room with a newfound resolve. Baobhan was still sprawled on his bed, giving him a curious look.
"What took you so long, Master?"
"I was thinking about us," Peter said with uncharacteristic seriousness.
Baobhan smirked. "Oh? About us? Do tell, Master."
"I've decided," Peter declared. "I'm going to save you and make you happy, no matter what it takes."
Baobhan blinked, her cheeks tinged pink. "Idiot. What makes you think a small fry like you can save me?" She mocked him, but her voice wavered slightly.
Peter smiled confidently. "Because I'm a Hero. And I promise, one day, you'll tell me about your past on your own terms."
Baobhan stared at him for a long moment before turning away. "Do as you wish, you fool. But don't think I'll go easy on you."
Peter grinned. 'No matter what, I'll protect her smile.'
Baobhan watched Peter from the corner of her eye. 'He's a fool,' she thought. 'Kind, brave, selfless… the kind of idiot who'll get himself killed someday.'
But for the first time in her life, she felt something unfamiliar—a flicker of warmth.
'Maybe I'll help him survive… if only to keep my favorite toy around a little longer.'
Side End.
