What the hell is making games in the Ninja World?

Chapter 13: Chapter 9.1 : Uchiha Culture!!

Minato's blind trust in Uchiha Kai deeply moved him, but it also put a tremendous amount of pressure on him.

After all, one knows himself the best, and unlike the natural evil genius of Senju Tobirama, he didn't possess any legendary creative talent.

He was just a plagiarist, okay?

Anyone can copy homework, right?

While it's true that, in the normal world, being a plagiarist can lead to success and even make you a 'master,' to truly become a 'master,' one needs the basic talent to replicate what's been copied.

In the modern world, this means having an incredible memory to recall and transcribe classic works from the past. In the ninja world, it's a foundational talent for ninjas.

Unfortunately, Uchiha Kai lacked this basic ninja talent, so his so-called 'creativity' was just cheap 'ideas' that were one-time use only.

Being aware of one's limitations is important. Uchiha Kai knew exactly what he was capable of, so he paid no attention to Minato's praise.

However, Minato's suggestion to delve deeper into illusion techniques caught Uchiha Kai's interest.

Though the genjutsu game wasn't a unique ninjutsu, but rather a strange mix of futuristic technology from the system and the Sharingan, Uchiha Kai figured he could use the guise of a forbidden technique to cover it up.

Forbidden techniques are so-called because they are typically unique to certain people or clans and don't need to be publicly disclosed.

Though some forbidden techniques are stored and backed up by Konoha, these are only techniques voluntarily donated by the individuals or clans who hold them.

Even if these donations aren't truly voluntary, anyone with enough power and influence can protect their forbidden techniques.

Coincidentally, Uchiha Kai was of the noble Uchiha clan. Even though he wasn't well-liked within the clan and didn't feel a sense of belonging to the Uchiha, their protective nature could still help him.

His lack of acceptance within the clan was one thing, but if outsiders tried to bully or force him, that would be a different matter entirely.

Although there would undoubtedly be people in the clan who wanted Uchiha Kai to hand over his 'forbidden technique,' the Uchiha clan was made up of proud and arrogant people who never took away the achievements of their clan members.

"If you hand it over, you'll receive rewards and benefits from the clan. If you don't, some people within the clan might be displeased with you, but they won't force you to hand it over.

Instead, they'll proudly believe that one day, when you've thought it through, you'll voluntarily submit it. This is similar to what many Uchiha clan members who created forbidden jutsu in history went through.

However, if an outsider tries to force you to hand over your secret technique, then sorry, the Uchiha clan is famous for its unity and xenophobia.

Anyone who dares to openly bully a clan member will be marked by a group of mentally unstable, red-eyed lunatics!

This is the Uchiha.

Before the Nine-Tails Incident, the Uchiha clan didn't have a position in the Konoha high ranks, but their authority within Konoha was unquestionable.

Even Danzo, the dark shadow behind Konoha's leadership, only dared to secretly cause trouble and never dared to confront the Uchiha head-on.

Do you understand the weight of the founding clans of Konoha?

It was during the Nine-Tails Incident, when the Nine-Tails was controlled by Uchiha Obito, that the massive Sharingan was revealed, giving the higher-ups of Konoha the chance to suppress the Uchiha clan's prestige with the excuse that 'the Nine-Tails was controlled by the Uchiha Sharingan.' This allowed them to expel the Uchiha clan from the core areas of Konoha.

Even then, the Uchiha didn't fall completely. The clan's ninjutsu were still well protected.

Konoha only truly gained access to the Uchiha clan's secret techniques after the massacre, when the 'great filial son' Uchiha Itachi wiped out the entire clan.

When everyone was dead, it was obvious the clan's techniques couldn't be kept intact.

So, right now, Uchiha Kai has no difficulty protecting his 'secret techniques.'

As for the future...

In a few years, he'll either leave Konoha or gain enough strength through the system to protect himself.

By then, would he still need to care about the higher-ups of Konoha?

If the system's rewards are powerful enough, he might even give the Konoha Council a piece of his mind: 'I only want to protect 'my' Konoha. Do you old traitors to the Will of Fire understand me?'

Thinking about it, he's a bit excited.
