What To Do If The System Forces You To Exercise

"Do you like her…?" Su Chenyu narrowed her eyes and asked.

"Huh? Who?" Wen Jiexi blinked. She liked who now? And what the heck is with this position they were in? 

"You Sister Heling. She should be called Chu Heling, right? Do…you like her?" When Su Chenyu saw that woman, she immediately knew who she was. All kinds of information appeared in her mind. It could be said that she knew everyone in Xingle, for she even had reports on newcomers sent to her. 

Che Heling from Xingle was a good actor. Good at acting had a good personality and was overall very popular. Although anyone who could climb to such heights was not simple, since she was from Xinle, Su Chenyu did not think Chu Heling would do anything to Wen Jiexi. However….she was really annoyed. It was obvious that the scaredy-cat below her was very easygoing and enthusiastic with everyone except her. 

"Ehm, she…she…Sister Heling is very nice and very gentle. I think everyone on the crew likes her." Wen Jiexi sturred, feeling a little scared at Su Chenyu's sudden movements. Obviously, they were both women but why was her heart beating so fast? Was it because of this position they were in? 

At first, Su Chenyu's mood was getting worse and worse until she heard that last sentence. If everyone liked Chu Heling…doesn't that mean it was just a senior-sister like relationship? 

Suddenly feeling all happy, Su Chenyu gently rubbed some of Wen Jiexi's hair between her fingers, 

"You seem to be very happy with your crew." 

"Yes….yup…" Wen Jiexi nodded slightly, that oppressive aura suddenly dissipating. Was Goddess Su on her period today? Is that why she was so moody? 

With one hand gently patting Wen Jiexi's head, Su Chenyu stood up and sat back onto her own bed. 

Wen Jiexi propped her body up, her hair a little messed up due to Su Chenyu's movements. It looked like a bird's nest and a smile appeared in Su Chenyu's eyes. 

"Wuu…" Wen Jiexi pouted, trying to fix her hair. 

"I can help you practice your lines." 

"Huh?" Wen Jiexi raised her head and looked at Su Chenyu in surprise.

"I said, I can help you practice. After all, it's not good if you always trouble other people." Su Chenyu picked up the towel that had fallen on the floor. 

"R-Really?" Wen Jiexi grabbed Su Chenyu's hand in excitement. To practice with your fellow cast was to get more familiar with the script, but to rehearse with Goddess Su was an almost impossible thing. 

It was not to say that Goddess Su was unwilling to rehearse with others, it's just that no matter what scene it was if it was performed by Goddess Su, it was perfect. Unless you had strong mental strength, it was hard to act with someone who was almost perfect. The pressure was overwhelming.

"This is…." 

Looking at the bracelet, this was the only jewelry Su Chenyu always wore. It looked like a vintage product and should be very important, so why did it suddenly appear on her wrist? 

"This is the first time I've given someone a gift, so you can't take it off." Studying the bracelet, Su Chenyu felt it really paired well with Wen Jiexi's pale skin. 

"But isn't this something important to you?" Wen Jiexi said hesitantly. 

"It's important, but it's worth nothing if it can't be given away." Su Chenyu said and then leaned forward slightly, grabbing the potato chips on the newspaper. To give a gift…. Mother had always said to give gifts to someone she felt special towards. After so many years, other than her family members, only this person in front of her that she has seen a few times made her feel something. At least, she knows her mood fluctuates due to the actions of the other party. Therefore, the person in front of her was a special existence for her. 

"Thank you, I will cherish it." Wen Jiexi touched the bracelet and smiled at Su Chenyu. She tugged at it…Huh? Why can't I take it off? Uh, why kind of special technique did she use to put it on. Well whatever, if I can't remove it I'll just keep it on. 

"En, let's go. Time for dinner. We can practice when we get back." Su Chenyu said after throwing the bag into the trash. She stood up and walked out. 

"Oh….ok!" Wen Jiexi looked at the empty potato chip bag and scratched her nose. She had only eaten half the bag and the other half had disappeared in a blink of an eye. Sure enough, Sister Su's acting was powerful, but her gluttonous appetite was even more powerful! 

The dishes in the evening were much richer than during lunch. There rice and noodles along with a variety of other dishes and ingredients. There were a total of ten different kinds of dishes and three different kidneys of soup. Today there were even udon noodles. 

Wen Jiexi scooped up two portions of udon noodles, fried eggs, corn, seaweed, bean sprouts, and every single side dish. As for the soup…Oh, there's miso soup!!

Balancing her trays over to their 'exclusive' seating, she found there were already two people there. She felt like she had seen them several times and she knew they were in her crew, but she was sure these people were not from Xingle. 

Li Lingmeng sat opposite of the two, swiping away at her phone as she hungrily bit into her chicken chops while occasionally looking up at the two in front of him,

'What's going on?' Wen Jiexi asked silently towards Li Lingmeng with her eyes. 

'Who knows?' Li Lingmeng responded with a roll of her eyes. 

A table could hold eight to ten people, but only six people sat at this table. It was the 'unwritten' rule and everyone seemed to agree as no one crowded towards them. Today, this rule was broken. Wen Jiexi felt numerous gazes looking towards their table and seemed to be observing the situation. 

However, these two….one was a young girl that seemed to be about her size. She didn't know why, but she felt this girl was unnaturally hostile towards her. She didn't have any impression of the girl, so maybe the girl had only arrived today? But why was there so much hostility? Next to the girl was a thirty-year-old woman who smiled and put people at ease. However, compared to Chu Heling, the woman's smile felt false and deliberate. The woman seemed to be playing the junior sister of the Master of the first branch. She was regarded as a master of her own peak and had a good relationship with the female lead. It could be considered a third supporting female lead role. 

If she remembered correctly, this person was a veteran actress from Guanghua and her fame was somewhere between the first and second strings. It seems her name was Zhong Liwen. Since this was a veteran from Guanhua, the young girl with inexplicable hostility was probably a newcomer from Guanghua. 

Wen Jiexi met the girl's gaze and the girl immediately stared back with maliciousness. She was very, very sure she hasn't seen this woman before and so this maliciousness was quite strange. 

"Move." Just as Wen Jiexi was wracking her brains for an answer, a voice rang out beside her. She saw SU Chenyu holding a tray and hurried moved her stuff while pulling out a chair for the Goddess, 

"Here, sit." 

"En…" Su Chenyu nodded, setting her tray down and sat down. She completely ignored the two in front and began eating. 

Wen Jiexi glanced forward again and saw the girl was still staring at her but this time with jealousy. She also looked over at Su Chenyu with admiration and the woman called Zhong Liwen also raised her head and watched Su Chenyu with eyes full of fire. 

Eh? Wen Jiexi raised her eyebrows and finally knew what the two were after. It seemed they came for Su Chenyu. But seeing Su Chenyu's total disregard, she felt it was funny. So what if you toughened your skin and sat over? Not only were they getting ignored, but they were also being ridiculed by the eyes around them. 

Zhong Liwen seemed to notice and her face flickered. However, she quickly calmed down and then silently ate her own dinner. The girl beside her, however, was different and couldn't help blurting out, 

"Sister Su, my name is Ye Xinxin, a newcomer from Guanhua. I never expected to meet you here. Ah, I am also a big fan of yours. Can you sign this for me?" 

The shy and self-proclaimed Ye Xinxin, she took out a pen and some paper and cautiously waved it at SU Chenyu. Her face was full of expectations. Compared to the face she had shown Wen Jiexi, it was totally different. Wen Jiexi pouted. What a bipolar personality. What's there to be shy about? The person is ignoring you and you still bother her. Now only that, you take out a pen and paper in front of everyone so isn't it obvious that Sister Su would have to sign it? 

However, the main point is that only I can call her Sister Su! Not you, an unknown person! Wen Jiexi's emotions were a mess and she didn't realize it until now that the title was actually so important to her. She turned away and sullenly ate her food. 

Su Chenyu naturally noticed the ups and downs of the mood of the person beside her and a smile flashed in her eyes. However, she looked up at the two uninvited guests who disturbed her meal. She could tolerate them sitting here but that doesn't mean they can interrupt her meal. Furthermore, she saw the girl glare maliciously at her scaredy-cat earlier. The girl was two-faced, but which person wasn't in the entertainment circle? 

She pulled out a napkin and wiped her mouth then looked coldly at Ye Xinxin, 

"You bothered me during my meal. Please be quiet. Also, don't call me Sister Su, I am not familiar with you." 

"I…." Ye Xinxin didn't expect for Su Chenyu to not even give her any face and she opened her mouth to refute when she was stopped by Zhong Liwen beside her who smiled at Su Chenyu, 

"I'm sorry, Miss Su, Xin Xin just came here and is not sensible, please don't mind her behavior just now."

"Sister Zhong, I…." 

"Xin Xin, eat first and we'll talk after we finish." Zhong Liwen patted Ye Xinxin's head and said softly. 

Su Chenyu glanced at Zhong Liwen and then bowed her head to continue eating. Meanwhile, We Jiexi was in a better mood after hearing Su Chenyu's words. Hehe, you deserved it! Who told you to butt in? One must know that SIster Su never talks during dinner and will only nod. Of course, this behavior is known only by her acquaintances. Scram you random person from who knows where.

Half an hour later, Wen Jiexi patted her belly in satisfaction. 

"Full?" Su Chenyu asked. 

"Yup!" Wen Jiexi nodded quickly.

"Let's go then." Su Chenyu stood up with her empty tray. 

"Ah, Sister Su, wait for me!" Wen Jiexi hurried to catch up.

"Su-cough, cough, cough!" Ye Xinxin, who was drinking soup, saw that Su Chenyu was about to leave and tried to stop her, but was choked by her own soup. 

"Why are you so careless." Zhong Liwen took out a packet of tissues and handed it to Ye Xinxin. A flash of annoyance flashed in Ye Xinxin's eyes. 

"Thank you, Sister Zhong….Sister Su…" Ye Xinxin started but was caught off by a warning look Zhong Liwen sent her. 

"Why did Sister Su leave so quickly…I haven't even spoken to her yet…" She watched at a loss as Su Chenyu and Wen Jiexi disappeared. 

"Don't be discouraged, you just need to focus on your acting." Zhong Liwen felt helpless and patted Ye Xinxin's head. 

"Then let me first…"

"Cough, Lingmeng, I'm full. Let's go back to our room. Are you done yet?" Lin Yunxi finished her meal and stood up while looking over at Li Lingmeng who was still reading something on her phone. 

"Ah? Ah….finished… let's go…" Li Lingmeng looked at her empty plate and then followed Lin Yunxi. 

"…first establish a relationship with the assistant…..that person is so annoying! Not only her but her assistant too! I won't believe that this person didn't walk through the back door! To be able to room with Su…wuwuwuwu…." Ye Xinxin's complaints got louder and louder until Zhong Liwen covered her mouth helplessly. 

"Xin Xin, you can't say this stuff here. Let's go back to our room first." Saying so, Zhong Liwen pulled Ye Xinxin behind her and disappeared. The people around them were trying to suppress their laughter. 

At the stairs, seeing now one around, Ye Xinxinx whispered to Zhong Liwen. 

"Sister Zhong, why did you stop me? That woman looks like a fox and even has Miss Su wrapped around her finger to take care of her. I was warning everyone that this girl is not a good person. Plus, since the other crew is a big production, the news will spread about that…ah, I think she's called Wen Jiexi. This person is no good." 

"Xin Xin, you just entered this circle so you don't know the rules yet. You must know that Wen Jiexi's agent is the gold star Xue Molin, whose reputation is no less inferior to Wang Anyi. That's why her backing must no be simple."

"Hmph, maybe she slept her way in." Ye Xinxin said disdainfully. They were just a newcomer and yet they received an important role, had a personal company car, a top-tier agent, and even shared a room with Goddess Su! If they didn't sleep their way in, how else did they get this position! One must know that Goddess Su was number one in Xingle so how could a small newcomer hook up with the Goddess? And so, Ye Xinxin let her delusions out of hand and even began to secretly plan on how to save her Goddess from 'the sea of suffering' and become the hero that saves the damsel! 

Zhong Liwen glanced at Ye Xinxin, who was filled with indignation and sneered at the same time. However, she agreed with one aspect of Ye Xinxin's words: this Wen Jiexi had no acting skills. She had watched the shooting today and saw that the girl's acting was mediocre but had probably gotten the role because of her martial skills. But any veteran stunt performer had similar skills so how come a little newcomer got the role? 

If one looked at the cast for this production, then Yan Hoacheng was the most popular artist among the group. However, as a male, it was impossible for him to room with Su Chenyu. That left only her and Chu Heling, the two most famous female artists in the cast. If Chu Heling was rooming with Su Chenyu, she would have accepted it as the two were from the same company. Yet, an unknown nobody like Wen Jiexi was staying with Su Chenyu. If she could stay with Su Chenyu then she could stay with her idol every day and even possibly develop a closer relationship with the Goddess. 

Although Guanhua was also one of three major companies that competed with Xingle and Shangri, Xingle's resources and fame far exceeded the other two. So having a good relationship with Su Chenyu might not only elevate her own position in Guanghua, she might even be able to transfer into Xingle as well. No matter what, it would be a very rewarding relationship and yet a small newcomer had come in and ruined everything, 

Fortunately, she had her own newcomer, a brainless and easily controllable idiot. An idiot with a naive sense of justice and pride. With only a little prodding and guidance, the gullible idiot can become a magnificent chess piece. Zhong Liwen patted Ye Xinxin on the shoulder, 

"You're too straightforward. You have to be careful next time. Some things can only be said in private or else it might offend someone." 

"Eh, hehe, thank you Sister Zhong for your advice." Ye Xinxin scratched her head and smiled."

"Let's go back to our room first." 

"Ok." 

Zhong Liwen watched Ye Xinxin's retreating back and then looked upward towards the fifth floor, her eyes full of calculations. 

Back in their room, Wen Jiexi held her script while sitting on her bed. She looked at Su Chenyu with an expectant gaze. That shining and bright gaze made even Su Chenyu feel guilty….and then under the anticipating gaze of Wen Jiexi, Su Chenyu finally spoke….

"Go and make me a cup of instant noodles." 

Wen Jiexi: "…." We just finished eating dinner, why are we eating instant noodles too? However, it seems like Sister Su didn't eat as much tonight. Usually, she would go back for seconds, thirds, and so on. Today she only ate one serving. Probably the two unexpected guests affected her appetite.

"Which flavor do you want?" Wen Jiexi took out all the cups of instant noodles and placed them in front of Su Chenyu. 

"Hmm….beef with green onions." Su Chenyu quickly ordered. 

"Alright." Wen Jiexi picked up the cup, tore up the packaging, and then poured the hot water in the cup. One can only reap a reward if they serve their old lady well! [1] 

Su Chenyu moved from the bed to the table and sat down. Wen Jiexi sat across from her. Su Chenyu then took out a disposable pair of chopsticks before looking at Wen Jiexi: 

"I've already scanned your script. The role of the Right Protector relies mainly on your martial skills. Other than fighting, your only purpose is saving people. Even then you're acting as a mute. Besides your requirements for martial skills, the rest is not too difficult to achieve. After all, the Right Protector is an aloof character. Other than showing confusion and doubt when experiencing new things, the character is completely indifferent the rest of the time. Furthermore, she only saves lives with her medical skills in the Mortal Realm and there aren't many scenes of that. Today you performed the scene where the Right Protector first appears so tomorrow should be a continuation of the fighting scene."

"Oh, by the way, how did Sister Su know which scene I was performing in today?" Wen Jiexi scratched her head puzzledly and asked. 

"It's a known fact that unless there is a special factor in the scene, such as night time filming, or an artist can't adjust their time, most artists will perform in order of the plot sequence." Su Chenyu picked up her chopstick and opened the lid, stirring the noodles in an unhurried fashion. Anyhow, she can't exactly say that it was because she secretly watched Wen Jiexi, right? 

"Oh, so that's how it is!" Wen Jiexi nodded and accepted Su Chenyu's words as the truth. 

"It is impossible for me to rehearse the fighting scenes with you. As the Right Protector, the other characters you'll be in most contact with is the Demon Sect's Leader, then the male lead, and then finally the female lead. The other characters are only extras or cannon fodder in front of the Right Protector. If I remember correctly, after destroying a Sect the next scene you appear in is when the Right Protector reports back to the Demon Sect's Leader. Let's start with that scene." Su Chenyu decided. 

"Ok, I'll listen to Sister Su." Wen Jiexi nodded fiercely like a chicken pecking for rice. Whatever sister Su says go! However, Sister Su is so amazing that she can pick out the details from the script with just one glance at it! (Su Chenyu: That's a given, I was the one who selected the scripts for you.) Sister Su is so awesome! 

"Then let's give it a try." Su Chenyu grabbed the script and then pointed at a short paragraph, 

"Start from here."

The part Su Chenyu was referring to was when the Right Protector reported back to the Demon Sect's Leader after wiping out the Wenjian Sect. Su Chenyu gently pushed the table to the side and then stood up, her back facing Wen Jiexi and her arms held behind her back. Suddenly it was like her entire demeanor had transformed as bloodthirsty and domineering aura filled the room. In just a few seconds she had transformed into an entirely different person! 

The leader was no longer in the hall this time but in a place full of pretty flowers. It was one of the rare places in the Demon Realm that held a semblance of beauty and was requested by the leader to be created on his Palace grounds. It was quite difficult to imagine that a bloodthirsty demon like the leader would willingly ask for a place like this to be made. 

Plucking a beautiful flower, the leader lifted it up and watched the sunlight bounce off the petals. However, the leader's face was not one of appreciation but of madness, a madness that only had a desire to destroy. 

Hiss....

Black flames appeared in the air and burned the flower. The blooming flower turned into dust and the wind drifted its ashes into the air. 

At this moment, the Right Protector appeared behind him. She kneeled on one knee and stayed in that position quietly. 

"You're back." The leader gently rubbed his fingertips together but didn't look back as he noted her presence in a happy voice. 

"Did you bring it?"

The stone he had given her and immediately flew into his hands. He closed his eyes and countless gruesome pictures flashed through his mind. He let out a satisfied smile. 

Good, very good. I'm relieved to have left this matter to you." Turning his head, he walked in front of the Right Protector. He bent down and picked a small petal from the strand of her hair. 

"To let something like this fall on my Right Protector is rather disrespectful." With a light flick, the entire sea of flowers was engulfed in a black inferno. Instead of looking at his flames, he leaned towards his Right Protector's ear and whispered, 

"What do you think? My dear Right Protector?" 

"Cough, cough…." Wen Jiexi took a step back. 

Su Chenyu straightened, raising an eyebrow and slowly said, 

"You're breaking character." 

"Uh, I was thinking about how Sister Su's instant noodles are done soaking. If we soak it any longer it's going to get all soggy." Wen Jiexi looked away, not daring to meet Su Chenyu's gaze. 

"Is that so?" Su Chenyu sat down at the round table and quietly began eating her instant noodles. 

Huuu...Wen Jiexi raised a hand to cover her chest and still her beating heart. What is wrong with me? Am I sick?
