What To Do If The System Forces You To Exercise

At the start of the new school semester, Wen Jiexi's amazing changes became the talk of the entire school forum. At least seven out of every ten forums were about her.

Just what kind of person is this legendary sick beauty? Since she was rather frail, it was natural for her to stay in the dorms, and go home every two days. However, everyone's impression of her completely turned upside down.

Classmate A: The sick beauty is jogging?! That running speed is even faster than me!

Classmate B: Brother, you've only just came, I've been here for an hour, and she has maintained that speed since then.

The university did not have any uniform requirements, so the students were dressed however they wanted as they talked in groups of two and three on the track field. The air was slightly shilly, even though the sun was out, Wen Jiexi was wearing a sweatshirt as she sat on the bleachers. Li Lingmeng sat besides her, yawning and tapping on her mobile phone.

They didn't know why so many male students were surrounding them and there were many other students from different departments watching them. Wen Jiexi hesitated and then patted Li Lingmeng on the shoulder,

"Little Meng, do you think we're bothering others by sitting here? I feel like there are a lot of people watching us, can we move to another place?"

"Hah? …" Li Lingmeng's gaze shifted from her mobile phone, looking around, er … these people's eyes are burning with fire, how can you not feel it?!! And these pieces of trash have been standing there for so long, and yet not a single one dare to come up! Li Lingmeng snorted, so timid, how can anyone of you be worthy enough for little Xi!

"Come on, let's go over there." Then, pulling Wen Jiexi up, she walked to the other side.

"Ok…"

"Haaah, it's morning…so bright! I'm melting!" At that moment, the Dango sleeping on her shoulders woke up because of their movements and was blinded by the harsh sunlight. 

It's already late morning, why did you wake up so late? Wen Jiexi asked.

Apparently, Dango came with a human sized smartphone, and although she didn't know why Dango had one, she once saw Dango watching a movie on it. It was quite an interesting experience. She never expected that non-living creatures would be so addicted to the internet as well. However, Dango always completed whatever task Wen Jiexi handed out so she had no complaints, but…

"Hey, hey! Although I'm not human, I need to rest, too! What is that thing you humans always say…en, yes, you cannot abuse my worker rights!" Dango posed with its arms on its hips, and said arrogantly.

….. Wen Jiexi rubbed her forehead, there was a sudden urge to confiscate the phone. Why would you look up this nonsense?!

"Little Xi? Hello? What are you doing?" Li Lingmeng raised her hand and waved it in front of Wen Jiexi.

"En, what's wrong?" Wen Jiexi came back to reality and asked quickly. 

"The teacher is here, it's time for roll call." Li Lingmeng pointed not far away at the person quickly walking towards them. This was the physical education teacher in charge of their class, and so all their other classmates slowly got up and the students from the other departments also walked over, but sat to the side to observe.

"Alright, morning class! With the new start of the semester, first and foremost …." The physical education teacher is a woman in her thirties. She always started class with the same series of words every time. The students around her whispered and gossiped as they rarely listened to the teacher.

For today's class, the male students will be running the 1600 meter and the female students will be running the 800. Please be prepared." 

The students immediately complained and groaned. No matter who you are, no one had a good impression of the long distance run. Furthermore, it's scored as well. If it wasn't scored, they could at least slack off, but now they had to run themselves to death for a good grade. 

"Alright, no complaining. The boys will start first." The physical education teacher clapped her hands and ignored the wailing directly. This kind of reaction, the teacher is already used to it.

The gender distribution of Wen Jiexi's department was fairly equal, so with a class size of roughly 80, the track field was pretty crowded whether it be boys or girls. 

"Ready, set, go!" The physical education teacher ordered.

"Hah…we just started and it begins with long distance running. The teacher sure is cruel…" Li Lingmeng muttered.

"This is the third class today, so we'll be done faster if we finish quickly." Wen Jiexi said helplessly.

"That's right, Jie Xi, let me tell you, this long-distance running mission, don't look down on it, as long as you complete it, you can be promoted to the next level! This is the 100th task! The 100th!" Dango loudly echoed. 

I got it, help me accept it first, and then we'll look at the results when we get back. Hearing the good news, Wen Jiexi felt happy. She originally thought she would have entered the next level in less than a week, but since she had to go to class, she could only do a limited number of missions. But now, she finally can move on to the next level! 

"Ugh…why can't we play some basketball instead? Why do we still have to take these tests in college?" Li Lingmeng sighed and looked enviously at the volleyball court and basketball court next door, where the other classes were playing enthusiastically. 

"We'll get there eventually. After the suffering, comes the joy. Besides, I've never played any sports before, so you'll have to teach me." Wen Jie laughed softly and followed Li Lingmeng's sight. Sport games are really interesting to her. She had always wanted to play, but she could only ever sit on the sideline and at most she could only hold the ball and watch other people play.

"Alright girls, it's your turn now." The teacher called out. 

Out of all the boys, at least half of them still could walk. However, about eighty percent of the girls were already showing signs of exhaustion from just walking up to the starting line. Just as the teacher was about to start, a trace of light flashed in her eyes,

""Wait a minute … you don't have to run." The teacher said, and walked towards a figure.

Wen Jiexi looked at the teacher who was suddenly in front of her, and quickly reacted with a bitter smile,

"Teacher it's fine, I can run. I'm healthy now."

"But…" The physical education teacher was a little hesitant. When she started teaching this class, she was warned by the head of the department that this girl was strictly forbidden from doing any vigorous exercise. She was allowed to walk slowly, bounce a ball, etc. Her parents explained that she was not allowed to participate in these types of tests, and even gave her a bunch of information from the doctor about her body.

The physical education teacher naturally disapproved of such things. These types of situations, she's seen plenty enough. These rich kids, not wanting to take PE classes, use the reason of poor health to get out of it. Then later they would party all night and drink with their friends. If this is considered a 'weak' body then there is no one else in the world who is healthy! Of course, for students with actual poor health, they would not bother. And at the same time, the head of her deaprtment told her very seriously, 

"I know what you're thinking, put away that mindset of yours.. Do you know why you were assigned to this class three weeks after school started? Do you even know why the previous teacher disappeared?"

"What do you mean?"

"Although I do not know the exact details, but because that teacher asked this student to run, in less than three minutes the student fainted and was rushed to the hospital. And she had to be hospitalized for three days! I personally visited myself, and saw that in that amount of time, the student had lost over 10 pounds! Then the teacher suddenly resigned and their entire family moved out of the country! Do you understand what that meant? Anyhow, do not push this student, okay?" 

"Understood."

The physical education teacher felt that if anything happened to this student, she wouldn't be able to afford the consequences.

"Teacher, I'm fine, don't worry." Wen Jiexi insisted, this was the 100th mission, and she was so close to completing it. How could she give up now? She didn't want to go and wander around aimlessly to trigger another mission.

"This…" The physical education teacher felt awkward. She has been observing this girl since her first class and found that this girl was very quiet and well-behaved. And despite being in poor health, she came on time to every class. A student who looked at all the other students enviously as they played. Even she felt heartbroken for the student, and with this girl insisting, she didn't have the heart to refuse.

"Is that so? Then stop immediately if you feel uncomfortable, don't be stubborn and tell me if it hurts." Hearing the word of the girl who was alway accompanying this frail student, the teacher hesitated and then nodded.

Because the sick beauty who used to faint after three minutes, ran at a speed three times faster than normal people, without even breaking a sweat. In the blink of an eye, 800 meters flew by and she had set a new record, and completed the run in under three and a half minutes.
