Chapter 2: Star Weaver (chapter 2)
First, there was nothingness, and suddenly a sound and then another. This sound awoke her from her deep sleep as she rested in what felt like water. Was what she had seen a dream or was she currently in one? As her mind drifted the sound reminded her of something in her past. Someone or something was playing a Biwa. As she lifted herself off the ground a flashing light speared its way through the darkness and illuminated her surroundings. As her eyes adjusted to the light, she found herself standing in a stream within a forest. A mountain was ahead of her, and it sounded like the music was coming from there. As she headed that way, she noticed a gathering of clouds around its top.
The closer she got clear the music rang to her ears; this place made her feel calm and at peace for some strange reason. as if willing to stay here and down the mountain, however, the music called out to her. it was a sad melody, The more she listened the sadder she felt. Finally reaching the base of the mountain she started to climb up it. As if an invisible force was cheering her on. Rain slowly began to fall on her as she reached the halfway point of the mountain, gripping a rock her eyes drifted towards a hole where a milky white snake seemed to be watching her. Turning her head, she noticed more holes with veering types of snakes.
"ROAR' And a sudden gust of wind rushed behind her and up towards the mountain. Almost pulling her off and away from her spot. As her head turned up to see what had gone by her, her eyes expanded in shock and disbelief at what she just saw. An eastern Dragon with golden scales dived into the clouds. it was the size of a blue whale was the only thing she could compare it to in her mind. Fear was what she felt. As if it had a voice she heard "Go back down, why would you change how you have lived your life now that you have died? go back down to where it is safe and familiar?" Flashes of her life played in the back of her head, Moments where she choose to say nothing when she could have to help another. And moments where she turned a blind eye to someone else suffering. She had always been afraid of change. The snakes every watching while other creatures with the shape of human's upper bodies but the body of a snake from their hips down watched her movements as well. some with a sadistic look while others seemed to almost try and cheer her on.
As one of her hands move dowered the memories of her friend came to mind. And of how she had pushed her to try new things and be a better person. How she had defended herself from bullies. She wouldn't be that weak girl again, taking a deep breath she pushed forward and kept climbing making her way into the clouds. her grip was starting to fail her from how wet the stones had become. as she reached to grab the next one her hand slipped. She was going to fall and as a scream was forming in her throat a pair of hands held hers. Looking up she saw her parents were pulling her back onto the mountain. As she positioned herself and looked to make sure she had a good grip she turned to look back to her parents to notice they were gone.
Giving a small prayer as thanks she gathered her strength and moved up. Finally passing the clouds she reached the top of the mountain. It was flat as she pulled herself onto it and rested there for a moment breathing hard. The music was clear, and she just sat there with her eyes closed listening for a bit. The feeling of strong wind blows around her, opening her eyes she saw a woman playing the biwa, dressed in grey kimono while a sword rested on her hip. Her pale fingers moved as she played. a bright orb rested around her neck. A flowing stash moved around the lady as they rested atop a white dragon that was at least 4 times the size of the dragon she saw earlier. As for the lady she was at least 3 times her size. As if finally noticing Aiko, she gave her a smile a mother would give their small child. it was warm and welcoming. Her song came to an end a few moments later.
"Greeting child of man" The lady nodded her head towards her " I am Benzaiten, never few can hear my song even fewer have the will to climb my mountain home. For such a rare occasion as this I shall gift you with three wishes." as the goddess spoke a light shined from the orb around her neck and three smaller orbs flew down and orbited around Aiko. as for her she had dropped down and began to her knees and leaned forward, bowing her head down towards the earth. Her mother had told her stories of the goddess Benzaiten, one of the seven lucky gods, the Goddess of water, music, arts, wisdom, wealth, fortunes, Snakes, and Dragons.
"Benzaiten-sama where am I? Last I remember I had died." Aiko said not daring to look up as she felt the eyes of the large dragon rest on her. "You are in my domain child, souls are not meant to appear here unless they are souls of snakes, dragons, or Nagas. sometimes human souls do make their way here. however, more often than not they end up as food for the residents of this place. rarer still are those that hear my song." Benzaiten-sama's voice hummed as she spoke.
"Now dear those wishes, speaking of them there are things you cannot wish for. such as immunity, omnipresence, the ability to forcefully make others love you, and anything related to dragon ball z." Looking at Aiko with a knowing look.
"Can I be reincarnated in an anime world?" Aiko asked with hopefulness in her voice. The goddess seemed to open some kind of portal and began to speak in a langue Aiko couldn't understand. "After speaking with Lord Izanagi-no-Mikoto-sama he has allowed your wish." The goddess said as she closed the portal. Her three orbs still orbiting around her. " Do not worry child that was but a gift now tell me the name of the world." Aiko nodded and said Naruto.
"For my first wish Lady Benzaiten-sama, I wish to be born with the body of the Kure clan from the Kengan universe." As she wished for it, she saw one of the orbs grow, and within was a baby girl with their features. The goddess nodded as if giving her permission to continue.
"For my second wish, I want to have both the bloodlines of the Uchiha and Senju. " The goddess seemed to be in thought as she stayed silent for a few moments. "The mix bloodlines can be done now I need you to spin this wheel as these will be added as extra natures you will get from your bloodlines." as she finished speaking a wheel appeared with numbers on it from 1 to 5. where one was the largest and five the smallest on the wheel. As she moved up to it gripping the wooden stick to pull it down and spin it. she hoped for a large number as those were always good. As it spun, she watched with bated breath as it landed on the number two. Well, it was better than one she thought.
"Very well among the fire, water, and earth natures you will have from your bloodline and the wood release you may now roll for the remaining natures. and kaki Genki's " A new wheel replacing the old one appeared. As she rolled for the first one it landed on wind. As it did the scorched nature grow larger on the wheel. For some reason she couldn't remember if that was a good Kaki Genki or not, it was as if something was blocking her memory of it. As she did her second and final spin, she watched as stress began to grow in the pit of her stomach. It landed on Yang. What did that even do she thought. Her second Orb lit up as it orbited around her.
As for her Final wish, " I wish to be born with a Bijuu inside me" This seemed to take the goddess by Suprise. "Very well who do you wish to replace?" She asked. Aiko shook her head " I do not wish to replace anyone. the Bijuu I want to be born with will be a new one. The creature I want to be my Bijuu is Moonhidorah"
"I am unfamiliar with that creature, could you please explain what it is." The goddess asked and so Aiko when into great detail. (Female Ghidorah) "So it would be a creature similar to the Otsutsuki" Humming in thought "Very well your wishes have been granted however its Chakra level will be marked by the number of horns, and it will only gain more horns. You will learn more of its ability once you two manage to speak." As she said those words the child in the first orb had, had its hair change from a dark black to snowy white with a moon and star birthmark at the center of its stomach.
"I wish you luck on your journey and worry not you will be born in your favorite village." The goddess waved as the three orbs spined around Aiko golfing her and then suddenly disappearing.
