White Dragon Hidden in The Leaves

Chapter 30: The Silent Hunt

It was around dinner time after Naruto and Sasuke stopped being idiots and eating to the point, that they threw up that we were told about that event. The event that sealed that bastard death by my hands. About Inari's Father's death, It was something I had forgotten but now I had all the reasons to kill him.

As I sat on the rooftop, enjoying the serene view of nature, my eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of Naruto as he made his way out to the woods. I couldn't help but sigh as I stood up, feeling my muscles tense after sitting for so long. I stretched my body, trying to ease the stiffness, and then dropped down from the rooftop, landing softly on the ground. Putting my fingers together and creating a shadow clone that made its way inside.

As I turned to look up, I saw Izumi standing by the window, staring at me. I waved at her, and then quickly set off to follow Naruto's trail. It always amazed me how little awareness Naruto had of his tracks. As I followed his steps, I could hear the sounds of his voice, faint at first, but growing louder as I approached.

Finally, I found him training in the woods, his focus entirely on his movements. I climbed up a nearby tree and sat on the top, watching him intently. He seemed to be doing far better than when he was originally doing in the show. Since Tonight would be a long night of training, guess it wouldn't hurt to train as well. So, I tried to focus on the feeling I had felt when those ninjas had gathered their Chakra. Closing my eyes and pulsing out like what a droplet of water would do in a still pool.

It was hard to feel anything at all but thankfully I had all night. And so the night went on, with two people training until the sun came up and one of them had passed out.

And so, as the sun was rising higher, I felt something or maybe I was Imagining it. It was hard to tell, I might be feeling something. Sighing I opened my eyes and blinked repeatedly as the sunlight hit my eyes from what managed to seep through the tree branches. The figure of a girl with long hair was making her way towards the sleeping figure of Naruto.

I watched as she seemed to be struggling with something as her hand was hovering about Naruto's neck, before moving it to shake him.

"You'll catch a cold sleeping in a place like this."

"hn?" his voice barely came out as he opened his eyes.

I wouldn't give it much attention as I looked towards the basket she had. Her eyes snapped right at me as I was beginning to move. Damn, that was scary, sweat forming on my back from how fast she located me.

Jumping down and landed with a soft thud as my feet touched the floor. "Well, Naruto seems like you're finally taking an interest in girls, if you need me, I'll be at home." It was time to get my plan into motion, Besides Naruto was a better Talk ono Justus master than a novice like me.

Backing away from them and slowly walking back, I needed Kakashi's help for my plan to work. If I remember he knows the Jutsu to change one's body into something else. It would hopefully be Easy to learn and with that in mind, I set out to find Kakashi and convince him to teach me.

As I walked back to the house we were staying at, I spotted Sasuke approaching me from the opposite direction. He looked a bit curious and asked me where Naruto was. I paused for a moment, thinking about the last time I saw Naruto and his whereabouts. Eventually, I responded by saying "When I left him, he was with a girl. They were walking in that direction," pointing towards the path I had just walked from.

I was a bit surprised that Naruto had stayed behind with someone he had just met, but I hoped it would make things easier for me later. It had taken me about an hour to get back, and I was feeling slightly refreshed after tapping my rested clone's head and causing her to vanish. However, I was still a bit tired as I made my way towards Kakashi's room.

I tapped on the door frame and waited for Kakashi to allow me in. After a few moments, I heard his voice from inside, "Come in"

As I slid the door open, I caught sight of Kakashi, who was sitting up on the futon where he had been sleeping. I entered, closed the door behind me, and approached him slowly before taking a seat in front of him.

His voice was clear as he fixed his gaze on me. "Ayumi, what brings you here?"

I hesitated for a second, feeling a bit guilty for disturbing him in his recovery. But I knew that I had to ask. "I was hoping you could help me with learning a jutsu, Kakashi sensei."

He raised an eyebrow. "And which jutsu would that be?"

"The transformation jutsu," I replied, and he seemed to ponder it for a moment, his expression thoughtful.

Kakashi spoke in a confident, yet calm tone, "This particular jutsu is classified as an E-rank technique, but don't let that fool you. It's still one of the more challenging techniques for that level. However, I have no qualms about teaching it to you." He then proceeded to demonstrate the hand seals slowly, emphasizing the importance of being mindful of mental strain.

"It's likely that you've already learned this technique in class unless you were not paying attention," he added with a hint of playful sarcasm.

I must admit, I felt embarrassed when I realized that I had missed the lesson on this particular jutsu. It dawned on me that I hadn't been attentive enough during the class.

Kakashi could sense my embarrassment and chuckled softly. "No need to worry, Ayumi. We all have our moments of distraction. Let's get started with the basics."

He patiently guided me through the hand seals and the proper chakra control needed for the transformation jutsu.

As I attempted the technique, I found it challenging at first. Transforming into a completely different form required precision and concentration. Kakashi provided constructive feedback, correcting my hand movements and offering tips to enhance my focus.

Hours passed as we continued the training session. Kakashi's expertise and patience were invaluable, and gradually, I started to grasp the fundamentals of the transformation jutsu. The fatigue that lingered from the night's training with Naruto seemed to dissipate as the excitement of learning a new skill took over.

Eventually, Kakashi nodded in approval. "You're catching on quickly, Ayumi. Remember, the key is to visualize the transformation vividly in your mind. The more detailed your mental image, the more convincing the transformation will be."

Feeling a sense of accomplishment, I thanked Kakashi for his guidance. With the newly acquired transformation jutsu in my arsenal, I knew it would play a crucial role in the plan I had in mind.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the village, I made my way back to the training grounds where Naruto. making sure I was alone I created 10 shadow clones and had them transform into different animals. One a snake the other a white crow and so forth. Sending them forth to look for Gato's hideouts and any other place he could be hiding in.

The shadow clones dispersed in different directions, each taking on the form of a different animal to scout the area for information about Gato's hideouts or any potential locations he might be hiding. As I waited for their reports, I focused on maintaining my transformation jutsu, while two other clones meditated to help keep my chakra levels high enough.

Time passed, and one by one, the shadow clones returned with valuable information. The snake clone slithered back, relaying details about a suspicious-looking warehouse near the outskirts of the village. The white crow clone brought news of increased activity in a nearby port, suggesting that Gato might have more men coming to join him.

As the clones continued to report in, I began to piece together a map in my mind, marking potential locations where Gato could be operating. Dispelling one of the meditating clones to refill my Chakra. Meta Knowledge was great to know for things like this.

With the gathered information, I decided to regroup with the shadow clones and consolidate their findings. The transformation jutsu had proven to be a valuable asset in discreetly navigating the village without drawing attention.

As I returned to the house, I dismissed the shadow clones, absorbing their memories and experiences. Right, tonight I'd get some rest and Tomorrow I'd kill a fat pig. Things were going to change, but for the better or worse only time would tell.
