without the grace of god

Chapter 6: Chapter 5- dungeon creation

While Shiva is heading towards the dungeon, somewhere far away on the other side, a teacher named Ramesh, who is the heir of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, is teaching the children.

"Children," Ramesh said in his calm but stern voice, "as you all know, this planet as we see it today, Etal, was not like this 10 years ago. It was formed when two planets, Prithvi and Satal, merged together due to an event. Everything that you see around you now - our earth, sky, these powers that we have, was not like this before

The children knew all this, but the way teacher Ramesh taught was such that the children were always eager to listen to him. "It is impossible to survive here without powers," Ramesh continued. "That is why the gods chose us as their heirs, giving us their power. But do you know how it all started? How the peaceful world of Prithvi and Satal changed into Etal?"

There was silence in the classroom. Everyone was eager to hear the whole story.

All this happened on Earth 10 years ago," Ramesh said. "Once upon a time, there was a scientist named Shubham. He was a brilliant scientist. He did many experiments on time and space, and when he failed he unleashed the forces which were beyond the human race and conducted an experiment which caused a huge explosion. This explosion altered reality, merging our two worlds into one. In an instant, everything changed."

The students were shocked. Then what happened?

He said that earlier there was a lot of peace on both the planets Earth and Planet Satal, but after the merger, there was a lot of chaos. First, humans teleported to Satal, then Earth also teleported to Satal's orbit and within no time, both collided, a massive explosion took place and both planets merged, earthquakes started happening at many places on Satal, the oceans of Earth and Satal merged and started causing tsunamis due to which some cities got submerged and mountains collapsed like sand castles. Days and nights became long and dark.

There was silence in the room as the students tried to imagine the scale of such destruction.

"But that was just the beginning. Nature had decided to wipe out all life on both planets," Ramesh said, his voice now slow and full of pain. "Humanity was put to the test. Scarcity of resources and the struggle for survival, their spirit was broken.

First, there was panic in the cities. Food and water were scarce. People began dying under the burden of the disaster.

People were struggling in the streets, for whatever they could get. Theft became common. People were killing each other to survive." Ramesh added, "More terrible things happened… terrible things that we try to forget. Women were attacked, families were torn apart. Violence was rampant. The weak suffered, and humanity died. It was a time of cruelty. Not everyone survived those dark days with their humanity intact. " Some of the students exchanged nervous glances, terrified by the picture Ramesh was painting in their mind.

It was a world they had only heard about, a world that seemed impossibly frightening. "All the natural laws on Satal and on Earth had changed overnight," Ramesh explained. "In Satal, people followed the rules made by God—the balance and law made by the gods. But with the merger, those rules were broken. Time was no longer what it used to be. Gravity, seasons, even the cycle of life and death... everything was gone.

"But that was just the beginning. Nature had decided to wipe out all life on both planets," Ramesh said, his voice now slow and full of pain. "The disaster tested humanity's spirit, as scarcity of resources and the struggle for survival broke it.

First, there was panic in the cities. Food and water were scarce. People began dying under the burden of the disaster.

"In Satal, people followed the rules made by God - the balance and law made by the gods. But with the merger, those rules were broken. Time was no longer what it used to be. Gravity, seasons, even the cycle of life and death... everything was gone. People were fighting not just to survive, but to understand the new world around them. "In just two years, humanity was on the verge of extinction, people were tired of fighting, they were all cursing God.

Teacher Ramesh paused, he said after a moment of silence. The survivors were somehow getting by, "And then something even worse happened." Creatures that did not exist in reality before began to appear,

The students shuddered. They had heard stories about the creatures roaming the Dungeon, but hearing it from Ramesh made it even more real.

Ramesh said seriously, "Monsters, born of chaos. Some were once humans, warped by the energy released from the experiment that caused this. Others were nightmare creatures, drawn from the darkest corners of reality. These monsters roamed the land, destroying whatever they could find. The cities fell, and once again, people completely lost the will to live."

A student raised his hand, his voice shaking. "Sir... how did this stop? How did we survive?" Ramesh nodded, knowing the question would come. "After the disaster, when it seemed like all hope was lost, we began to hear a voice - the voice of the gods. They had finally awakened from their long sleep. Seeing the devastation, they intervened. The gods chose heirs from among the survivors, giving us their power so that we could rebuild. They gave us the strength to lock the demons in the dungeons and restore some semblance of order to the world."

"But sir," asked a student hesitantly, "what happened to Shubhu ? The one who did all this?"

At this, Ramesh's face became expressionless once again. "Ah, yes. Shubhu..." People found out through the gardeners that he was responsible for all this. "And when it was discovered that his experiment had led to this disaster, people were enraged. People wanted justice. He was caught, and it was decided to give him death as a severe punishment."

The students sat up straight, eager to hear what happened next.

"However," Ramesh continued, "just before the day he was to be punished, something strange happened. A portal opened and he disappeared into that portal, and no one - no human, no god - could find him.

Another student raised her hand in curiosity and asked . "is he still alive "

Ramesh eyes narrowed; his tone serious. "It's hard to say. Some believe Shubhu was alive some not . Others think he escaped into another dimension. we do know that the gods themselves have not been able to locate him. Whatever happened to him, it's clear he's no ordinary man."

Whispers echoed through the classroom, students' imaginations running wild. Was Shubho still out there, hidden in the shadows? Or had he met a fate worse than death?

As Ramesh finished the lesson, he couldn't stop wondering the same thing. Shubhu, the scientist who bridged two worlds – what happened to him? And what role will he play in the future of this strange, new world?
