Xerox Zee : An Extra into a Novel

BANG! BANG!

All the students looked at the direction of the sound.

"Hey you lowkey! How dare you ignore me?"

"Hmm… Are you talking to me?" I replied.

"Huh! …See his behavior"

"Don't you know who he is?" one of the students said to me.

"I don't f**king care about anyone and I am not interested to know one"

"He is our legend Alex Belgium, the 7th ranked student in our batch"

"So?"

"He wants you to come outside for a while," One of Alex Belgium's lackeys said.

"I don't want to follow and also I ain't like your lackey"

"This bottom ranked student is daring to go against me. Huh!"

Whatever he was I don't really want to give any Sh*t!

So I reluctantly sat on my chair without looking at them.

This attitude of mine really made him so furious and he was trying to infuse his mana into his fist so that he could punch me so hard.

Just as expected I blocked his punch and within no time, I could see the right hand of Alex frozen.

"Ahh! This is so painful"

"You deserve this. Haha!"

Meanwhile, our class teacher Layla Costine interfere between us and said:

"No fight shall be entertained in this school and those who break the rules have to leave the school"

Having said that, we stopped fighting and the class became silent for a while.

It was so shameful to be in one of the best academies of this world and fighting with this person. 

I regret having done this.

Our mission was not to fight with each other but to be the role model who could save and defend humanity. 

"I hope that everyone practice and learn new things from this academy rather than fighting and clashing egos"

It seems like the teacher also heard about the incident that happened yesterday. 

So she was looking at me so many times which made me feel kind of awkward.

As I also being a human, I couldn't bear the awkwardness and I got into some negative thoughts:

Hey teacher, what is the problem and what do you expect from me? I ain't doing things just like that. All the things are being controlled by the Almighty!

Anyway, she was my class teacher after all, so I didn't pay much attention to it.

Just like everyday, our teacher took attendance and she left for other work.

Today, we had a professor who was so old but his knowledge was so great.

The lecture was about 1 and half hours and then we had free training sessions.

Basically, the old professor was teaching about mana.

He told us that though the Skill level of the two people may be the same, what really matters is the control of mana. 

Those people who have a good control over the mana can execute high power despite having the same level of Skill.

The old man talked a lot on the topic mana and other stuff like the advantages of having max mana and how it can be used effectively.

After an hour of class, since the old man was called for an immediate meeting the class was called off.

So we got free.

"Hurah!" 

Some students got excited as we were free to train ourselves.

Just as I was walking to the training room, I could see three students suspiciously looking at me.

Huh! Again those bastards!

I already knew that these guys were going to mock me so I stayed in a controlled state.

"Hey you Noob, wanna challenge me?" One of them said,

Remembering all that advice given by our class teacher, I instantly moved on from that place but they were kind of following me.

So, there I had planned to make them fool.

Haha! At first I acted like I wanted to pee so I pretended to go to the toilet but actually I went directly to my training room.

Here or there I had them go to the toilet and it was such a great humiliation to them.

It was like I was the most wanted student in this academy after that incident.

It seemed like nobody in the school dared go against the beauty queen Lily because of the fear created by Trival Maxpad. 

Since other students can't bully Maxpad for he is a top ranked student but why only bully me for going against Lily.

The answer was simple; It was because of my low rank where they thought that they could easily threaten me and even beat me.

And one funny thing was that no student could go near Lily and forget about approaching her.

If they do that they are going to be eaten by that monster Trival Maxpad.

During the free training time, everyone was allowed to practice anything like even if you are from a sword background, you can still learn magic.

So for this reason I could see a lot of people in the training room area.

They wanted to be like Jack of all trades but master of none.

Some students practiced bowing as a primary skill where some students took magic as a main skill.

It was just that they wanted to keep track of all kinds of skills.

In that training arena, I could see Lily and her friend Silvana who also wanted to practice and train themselves.

Suddenly I could hear a loud voice.

"Anyone with a good skill?"

He was a bold man with long hair and a thick mustache and had an aura of Elite.

No student replied to him but our class teacher suddenly said:

"Yes we do have some top ranked students of this year"

"Huh! Really? If you don't mind can you tell me their names"

"Aerox Sun, Trival Maxpad, Lily Paypal, and Silvana. And If I ain't wrong I do believe that some of them might even become rank 10 some day"

"Huh! Really ?"

"Yes and I'm pretty sure"

"Anyway let's proceed with what they really have got as some might have cheated and stood in the desired position"

"Never take it in that way Professor Lance. This academy is not just a playing school but one of the number one schools in this world. And I'm pretty sure about the results."

As our class teacher said so confidently.

"I do trust your words Mrs. Layla"

The professor Lance was a top ranked teacher in the Eclipse academy and he could join this school due to his father's connection with the academy.

He was a dedicated teacher and also a hard working person when he was just 25 years old and much younger as compared to other faculties.

But, this professor Lance was also a crazy man on the other hand.

From the time he joined this academy, he had been following Mrs. Layla Costine despite him being hated by her so many times for doing all the nonsense on her.

Just as I was standing in the corner…

"You…?"

The professor Lance immediately took out his book and checked for my information.

"Xerox Zee. Rank 999. And the rank of 1+"

"What's a bottom-ranked nobody doing here?" someone whispered.

Ignoring them, Lance smirked. "Let's test you. Cast Mana Skill right now!"

I hesitated. Mana Skill was an advanced technique only top students could perform.

The room erupted in laughter again. "He's going to fail so badly!"

With no choice, I raised my hand, channeling mana. A faint flicker sparked, then suddenly

—BOOM!

A burst of light shot across the room, slicing a practice dummy in half.

The laughter stopped. Silence.

Professor Lance stared at the destroyed dummy, then at me.

"Interesting," he said, closing his book. 

"It seems Rank 999 has a secret."
