*Georgie POV

"now we back to highschool... hufftt.." I looked around, some I recognized from Georgie's memories. I walked towards my classroom and I saw some students, there were different types of students here.

Punk, Chearleader, hippie... I don't know about that group…. But this is high school and like all students don't want to miss out on their youthful life.

I saw a girl who just came out of the bathroom. "hey veronica!" I greeted her with a smile on my face.

Veronica who heard my voice, looked at me with a strange face. "why are you smiling Georgie? it's weird"

"Yeah? My little brother is going to school here for the first time." I shrugged my shoulder.

"Is that something you're proud of?" Veronica said strangely, but there is something that make her realise, "Why am I talking to you too?"

"Yeah, as an older brother, I'm proud to have a little brother like Sheldon. And to answer your question, because you are nice and beautifull" I said and left without waiting for her to reply my words.

Leave the messaged and go. She will wonder about why I said that she is nice and beautiful which she already knows that she is beautiful, 'but why did he say that?'. 'How does he know I am nice person?', 'He didn't know my… ?'.

"Wait..." Veronica tried to call out to me, I had left her far enough but I still turned around and looked at her. "Yeah?" I shouted, maybe she was waiting for me to come back to her but I didn't do that.

I just smiled at her and said "Bye Veronica" waving my hand at her. "Huh?!" Veronica, who couldn't believe what was happening, just grunted and got angry at me.

As I walked around the hallway, I tried to look around the school. If there are a few that I want to take a deeper look at, it's the music room. Alright... I like music.

Before, I just played it with my brother... my other brother. But now I have talent and I have a very beautiful voice.

"hello Ms. fenley..." I said looking at someone who was tidying up the instruments and chairs there. Ms. Fenley looked at where my voice was coming from, she looked at me with a smile on her face. "Hello Georgie..."

"No one helping you here?" I approached her, looking at the quiet room because it was still early in the morning and the lesson hadn't started yet, but Ms. Fenley had already prepared everything.

"No.. you want to help me here?" Ms. Fenley chuckled and looked at me. Of course she was just joking and didn't expect me to help her, but my words surprised her. "Sure."

I tried to help her lift the chairs, "Uhmm... alright..." Ms. Fenley said and tried to ignore me. But I noticed a few times she glanced at me to make sure I wasn't messing around.

"And... here you go..." I finished rearranging the chairs, "anything else Ms. Fenley?"

"What are you doing Georgie? Is this some kind of punishment game for you and your friends? Where is your friends?" Ms. Fenley looked left and right, looking for my non existence friend.

"haha Ms. Fenley, no it's not a punishment game or anything, I just want to help you." I said, Ms. Fenley stopped looking for my friend because she couldn't find them. She looked at my face and as if she realise something else, "ahh.. you nervous because your little brother will be your schoolmate right?!"

Well, suck it. I just want to be nice to her... "..Yes... actually I am nervous and afraid…". After saying that, Ms. Fenley approached me and sat next to me "Why are you afraid?"

"My little brother is special. You already know it right? 9 years old in highschool?! I think he's the only one in this world... well atleast in all of Texas." I said, this also concerns me. No one likes Sheldon actually except his family.

Other people would think of Sheldon as an annoying little creature and it was certain that he would get bullied.

"Isn't that a very good thing?!" Ms. Fenley said, she didn't know Sheldon yet so she didn't know what kind of character Sheldon was.

"No... it's good that Sheldon has... you know... Modest feelings to other people.."

"umm... I've never met him... but I don't think it's that bad...." When Ms. Fenley said that, I shook my head and she understood that ".....that bad huh?"

*RING

"Well... I should go now..." I said and looked at Ms. Fenley who was already standing up too. "Thank you for helping me Georgie..." she said and touched my hair. "Hey don't touch my hair..." I walk away and she just laughed at this.

"See you later Ms. fenley... and give me more credit score for helping you out..." I said to her. "Now I understand why you want to help me..." of course Ms. fenley knew I was joking and we both laughed.

I left the music room and walked toward my classroom. Today is the first time I'll be in the same class as Sheldon. Both of us will attend Mrs. MacElroy's class as our homeroom teacher.

(I'm not sure, but from what I've read, Georgie is a sophomore, and Sheldon is a freshman. Can anyone explain this why sheldon and Georgie in same class? I'm not American.)

I walked down the now-empty hallway and saw someone standing at the entrance to my classroom.

"Mom?" I called out to Mary, my mother. She had just dropped off Sheldon, who was starting his first day at this school. Hearing my voice, she turned in my direction.

"Is Sheldon already inside?" I asked, but she didn't answer. Instead, she kept staring deeply into my eyes, as if searching for something within them.

"Huh… it's me, Mom. I just feel different now, alright?" I sighed because she still couldn't believe what had happened to me.

"…I'm sorry, Georgie. It's just that your grandfather wants to talk to you." Mom said. I sighed again. "Grandpa's dead, Mom… seriously?".

"Sorry…" she muttered and smiled awkwardly at me. I shook my head, understanding her hesitation. I knew how she felt and she was really scared of me now.

"Huff… alright, you can call Pastor Jeff to our house later. Let him see if I'm really possessed by a demon or not."

Mom nodded but still stared deeply at me.

"What's your favorite color?"

"It's green, Mom. Anyway, I need to go inside before Mrs. MacElroy starts yelling at me. And don't worry, Sheldon will be fine."

I said as I passed her to enter my classroom. She stayed there, watching the classroom door. I knew she was worried about Sheldon and, on top of that, me being 'possessed by a demon', according to her. Well, maybe she was more worried about me than about Sheldon.

*Third-Person POV

A few minutes later, Mary walked away but didn't head to her car. Instead, she went to George's office.

"George!"

"Mary?! What are you doing here?" George asked, slightly out of breath and sweating.

Mary noticed and asked, "What happened to you?"

George didn't answer, but his colleague, Coach Wilkins, did.

"He's been running around the school looking for your boy Georgie, but he can't find him anywhere."

"Yeah… I don't know where that boy is." George admitted, leaning back in his chair to catch his breath.

"Hey, you didn't check the music room earlier." Coach Wilkins added, but George ignored him.

"Yeah, whatever…" George returned to writing his report, ignoring both Mary and the coach.

"I just met him after I dropped Sheldon off in his classroom." Mary said. George straightened up upon hearing this.

"Really? Let's go to the hospital now!"

"Whoa, whoa, slow down, Coach. You've got a schedule to keep." Coach Wilkins said, showing him a piece of paper.

Mary, feeling uneasy, said, "I don't think there's anything wrong with Georgie." She wanted to continue, but seeing Coach Wilkins still nearby, she stopped herself.

Coach Wilkins noticed this, glancing back and forth between George and Mary.

"Come on… this is our office!" he complained. George motioned for him to leave for a moment.

Once the coach left, Mary continued.

"I talked to him, and he said I could call Pastor Jeff to our house to check on him. Before you get mad, Georgie was the one who suggested it and said he didn't mind."

George, who had been ready to yell at Mary, took a deep breath and tried to calm himself. Well, he was no different from Mary—there was something different about their son, and Georgie himself admitted that he'd changed and was trying to be better. But as parents, they didn't trust him. Was that really the right thing to do?

"Alright… huff… I'll check on him when he's practicing on the field." George finally said, easing Mary's worry.

"Thank you."

George nodded and told her to go home. Of course, Mary planned to meet with Pastor Jeff first and explain everything to him—and probably to her own mother as well.
