You’re Supposed To Be The Villain, But You Effortlessly Win Over The Female Leads?

Chapter 6

Chapter 6:

Jiang Feng smirked, “I’m stingy? He Mingxue, what right do you have to say that to me?”

They stood facing each other, the tension thick as they argued.

Xu Qingya bit her lip, feeling a strange sensation in her chest.

Could Jiang Feng be acting this way because of her?

Her heart raced, filled with a bittersweet hope.

She had known Jiang Feng wouldn’t give up on her so easily. By now, a small crowd had gathered, listening to their argument. Curious eyes glanced their way, and some students whispered among themselves.

“Is that Jiang Feng?” one girl asked, her eyes wide with curiosity. “What’s he talking about with He Mingxue? Something about donating bone marrow?”

Another girl responded, “You don’t know? It’s for He Minglang! He was diagnosed with leukemia, and Jiang Feng didn’t donate his bone marrow even though he’s a match. He’s so heartless!”

The girl beside her looked scornful. “No wonder his grades are terrible. No wonder Qingya dumped him. If I were her, I’d break up with him too!”

Hearing these judgments, Xu Qingya’s anxiety over being blocked by Jiang Feng started to fade. Yes, why should she worry? Could Jiang Feng really find anyone better than her?

“Xiao Feng,” she said softly, trying to sound reasonable, “even though we’ve broken up, you haven’t taken any time to reflect on your actions. We can’t behave like this. This is a life at stake! You always wanted to know why I ended things with you—it’s because of your cold and selfish nature.”

Cold? Selfish?

Jiang Feng almost laughed at the absurdity of it all. How could they have the nerve to say that?

On the original Jiang Feng’s birthday, his father had celebrated someone else’s birthday instead. Song Lin and her daughter barely had enough to eat, yet Jiang Jiandang gave all his money to He Minglang. He ignored his own family to help others every single day.

The veins on Jiang Feng’s forehead pulsed with anger as he let out a bitter laugh. “I’m cold and selfish? I don’t even get along with He Minglang, so why should I donate anything to him? You’re the ones who are close to him—why don’t you go get tested? He’s not my brother. Your logic is ridiculous. You care so much about him, so why don’t you do the matching?”

The people around them were taken aback by Jiang Feng’s words.

Someone murmured, “He’s got a point. Jiang Feng and He Minglang don’t even seem close.”

Another chimed in, “Exactly. When have you ever seen them hang out or even talk? Everyone knows Jiang Feng can’t stand He Minglang.”

As the gossip spread, people began to see the situation in a new light.

“If that’s true, it’s weird for He Mingxue and Xu Qingya to demand Jiang Feng do the matching,” someone else said thoughtfully. “I wouldn’t donate to someone I hate.”

Xu Qingya’s face paled as she overheard the murmurs. Her expression shifted rapidly, betraying her inner turmoil. “Jiang Feng… you know I’m not in good health…”

“And what does that have to do with me?” Jiang Feng thought to himself, finding it all utterly absurd.

Did they really think the world revolved around them?

Before Jiang Feng had become an infinite tasker, he had met all kinds of people—some cunning, some selfish, but none as brazenly self-serving as this.

He was now accustomed to the intrigues and schemes of the infinite world, but no one he had encountered had ever been this blatantly manipulative, trying to guilt others into submission.

This was nothing more than pure emotional blackmail.
