Blue comet Hospital

As soon as my hands made contact with the my body was over ran with energy as my body sparked like a tesla coIl, "AHHHHH", I felt my body give out as I collapsed backwards on the floor with a gasp, "w-what was that", I felt my body twitch slightly. A loud laughter rang out from Michael, "oh my gods was that hilarIous", I slowly turned my head to him as my body twitched, "w-what's so funny", I saId through shuttering teeth, "I've just never seen someone try to absorb pure energy so recklessly" I slowly rolled to my stomach pushing off the ground, "I didn't try anything I just tried to open the dumb door", Michael's laughter stopped in an instant, "what do you mean you didn't try', I shakingly got to my feet, "it just happened I didn't purposely try anything", Michael scratched his head for a second, "alrIght then I'm going to try something come here,", I walked over to him shaking my hands off as I noticed small arcs of electricity snaked through my fingers, "gImme your hand", I put my hand out as he held the bottom of my hand, "Im going to try something and all I want you to do Is Imagine sparks of lighting", I nod as I felt an energy beginning to buIld within my hand. After a few seconds a gold-ish lighting sparked around my hand, "w-what's this feeling", I pulled my hand from his as the sparks began getting stronger, "don't worry about it just try to strike the door", I turn to the door as the lighting snaked in the air, "ok should I do like superheros do and name the move", Michael chuckled, "sure kid go ahead", I nodded with a chuckle as I pulled my hand back, "vesper bolting palm", I threw my palm into the door as a brIght light and loud boom enveloped me. As I stood in front of what would have been the gate If it wasn't in rubble opening a wIde window to the room behind it and a brIght light shined extremely brIghtly, "Woah kid you pack some power even without a god it's Impressive", I looked at my hands as my head felt like a hazy forest, "w-what was that", Michael slung his arm over my shoulder pulling me into the room, "that kid was a fragment of divine power which normally shouldn't be possible to absorb but you child seem like an anomaly", I listened to him slightly confused but I nodded along with it as If I did, "so what was the lighting then", he laughed a bit thumping me in the forehead, "that was your own power I just simply provIded the energy" I looked at him confused before turning to look at the room we were in as it appeared to be the outside like there wasn't a ceIling and this wasn't just another room, "I-I thought this was just room", Michael sighed before laughing, "it Is just a room but it's meant to simulate the outside as a way to prevent feeling Isolated and trapped", I looked around slightly amazed by the sheer size of the room looking about as bIg as a stadium, "so um how will we um train and um how long tIll the exam", Michael patted both my shoulders, "first off we'll be working on perfecting your little move or whatever and probably have you create two more", I needed as I realized how tIght his grIp on my shoulders Is, "and you only have a week so…", I raised an eyebrow as he stopped grIpping my shoulder, "If we only have a wee-", I stopped instantly as I noticed he cocked his fist back, "wait wait wa-", he smiled before planting a heavy punch to my gut, "Grit those teeth brat",. I instantly crumbled forward feeling the air in body escape in a gasp, "w-what was that for", I could barely speak through the gasps as I fought to regain my breath, "what you thought this was going to be a walk in the park or something", he crouched down in front of me pulling his hair from his face, "I'm not going to go easy on you so you better prep yourself because I'm going to whip you into a half decent disciple at least" I slowly pushed myself from the ground feeling the ache in my stomach, "d-did you really have to punch me that hard", Michael laughed, "nah not really I just felt like it", I thought about socking him in the face but I knew it wouldn't work. As I pushed myself off the ground I started feeling a pain in my arms, "agh", I grasped my arms as they began getting hot, "what's going on kid", I could barely speak as the pain got stronger, "I-I don't kno-", couldn't finish my sentence as the feeling reached a peak. I could barely functIon as red-ish rings burned into my arm feeling like a torch was being pushed into and around my arms, "hey kid whatever you're doing you need to stop trying to contain it you're only hurting yourself", the burning sensation continued as a weird buzz began filling my ears. my vision went hazy as I could barely stand on my feet. the two red-ish rings that were now pulsing red as they formed solid rings over my hands and wrist, "w-what's going on", I held my hands out. The two rings preceded to flow down to my palms. I clutched my hands as I grabbed hold of the inside of the rings as they grew to the size of frisbees, "hm you get more and more interesting kid", I was stIll kinda unable to hear him as the hiss continued, "I-it feels weIrd", he laughed a bit, "I can see that why don't you try to throw one of them", I looked at the rings before I pulled my arm back and launched it as it crossed the room and slammed into the wall at an almost unnatural speed. The rings slammed into the wall with enough force to cause cracks that shuttered and splintered up and along the wall. I watched as the rings shot back to me slamming into my hands with a force that almost took me off my feet, "woah!", I could barely stop myself from flying off my feet, "mm interesting kid". My vision went cloudy as I felt my body felt like lead before I collapsed to my knees, "I-I'm dizzy" I could barely feel arms before it went dark. The sounds of a door slamming as I jolted up with a gasp, "w-what?" , I looked around the room in a panic, "jeez kid you're jumpy", I looked at my hands as I grIpped my sheets, "anyways where are your parents at I figured they'd already be here to pick you up it's been", I chuckled a bit looking down, "couldn't tell ya If I wanted to they left me at some orphanage", I looked up to Michael who looking kinda conflicted on something, "well then you're going to need a place to stay at while I train you", I raised an eyebrow with a slight shutter , "I-I do I mean I have the orphanage so I can just stay there", Michael just chuckled before he palmed my head with an insane grIp, "h-hey let go of my head you're going to crush my skull", I fought back against his grIp trying to pull his hand from my head, "nuh uh brat ain't no shabby orphanage housing a personal disciple of mine so you're staying with me for the tIme being", I couldn't think for a second as I tried to process what he just saId, "me stay with you?", I pointed between us as I tired processing it more," yeah what's so surprIsing?", Michael raised an eyebrow with a smug smile that for some reason made his face look punchable, "a non disciple staying with an apostle Isn't normal and Is basically saying you're supporting me no matter what", Michael grIp on my head remained as it got tIghter, "good you know what that means so don't disappoint me brat understood", I felt a shudder in my body as his indigo eye flared with an intensity that made my blood freeze, "u-understood s-sir", Michael's expression instantly relaxed as his carefree yet tired smiled returned, "don't stutter so much my disciple can't be a wImp", I nodded with a quickness, "yes sir", Michael stood up and started heading towards with a wave, "drop the sir too kid just call me Michael", Michael began to turn around, "oh uh where am I by the way?", he laughed a bit, "you're at the Blue Comet Hospital in the Elvaster district", I couldn't reply as he headed out without allowing me to reply. I sat in the room alone for a while letting my mind wonder before deciding to get up. I stepped into the hallway seeing the prIstine blue tIles of a hospital, I wondered the floor of the hospital as doctors came and went like blurs of white and blue not stopping or even noticing me. I stumbled onto the hospitals courtyard it was like an expansive park lined with over grown trees and vines that cracked the concrete but it was a beautIful sight. The feeling of someone tapping my shoulder snapped my outta the haze. My body snapped around as i saw a girl about my age her hair was a dirty blonde that faded into a diamond blue color that seemed to actually shimmer in the light, her eyes resembled bronze armor, her skin was a smooth carmel color as the sun shined slightly off her skin, "wow aren't you jumpy", her voice was soft and infectious as she laughed and the sunlight gently glistened against her barely noticeable braces, "hey aren't you going to say something", I nervously croaked outta laugh as my face started to heat up, "sorry sorry I'm just a bit foggy brained", she laughed a bit moving her hair outta the way, "I can see that", she smiled her a bit wider as her braces glistened more clearly in the sun, "So what has you in the hospital", she poked my chest lightly as I couldn't help but rub the back of my head as I nervously croaked out a slight chuckle, "nothing much I was just training", she raised an eyebrow, "training huh now what kinda training would put you in the hospital", I looked away with a slight nervous whistle, "the um real good kind of training ya know", she punched my shoulder lightly as I stepped back a bit, "mhm sure anyways what's your name mister intense training", I couldn't help but chuckle as i stuck my hand out, "Juno Arashi pleasure to meet you", she took my hand in her's as they felt soft and smooth but also with a slightly callus feel, " Eden Caster and believe me pleasures mine ", we both released our hands with an exchange of smiles, "so who's the god you chose" , I croaked outta a nervous laugh, "I'm actually godless", she looked at me with a raised eyebrow before laughing lightly, "welp it Is what it Is", I chuckled a bit surprised, "you don't have anything to say about that", she laughed again this tIme more joyful , "oh believe me I'm not so heartless" I chuckled alongside her, "That's good to know to but now that I think about it why are you here", she looked up through the foIleage as the sun shined through the foliage shimmering off her skin, "my body just can't handle the amount of faith I receive from my god", she simply shrugged as I raised an eyebrow, "you can't handle the amount of faith", she nodded with a bit of a tired expression, "yeah think about the first principle to faith", I leaned back against the wall behind my resting my arms against my chest as she continued, "prayer is the first principle and it is also how we obtain faith", I nodded along as she demonstrated what raw faith looks like as she held her hand out. Her faith surrounded her hand flaring calmly in waves of crimson red almost looking like streams of blood, I backed up instinctively as a slight chill ran down my spine from its weird aura. Eden laughed before continuing, "now the principle of prayer is as you know the act of praying to your god and it's consider the foundation of faith and faith fills in our bodies like pouring water into a cup", i nodded along ," my glass cup is larger then others but my glass has cracks in it", the aura of faith around her hand began swaying and slowly disappearing as Eden's veins in her hand began glowing a bright red as she winced slightly dropping her hand. I reach out but she motioned for me not to as she shook her hand a couple times before letting out a shaky breath, "are you ok!", she laughed a bit leaning back straight, "and due to my glass having cracks in it whenever i use it faith leaks out in large amounts", she walked forward a bit as she happened to step into a clearing of foliage and the light glistened off her eyes instantly drawing my attention, "so a godless disciple and a disciple with too much faith to actually use", I laughed a bit as she recounted our situatIons, "I guess we're misfits huh", she looked a me with a small smile that mirrored one of happiness but held depths of sorrow. So after we spent a few minutes talking between the two of us, "well as much as I would enjoy to continue our conversatIon I need to return my room before the doctors begin sounding the red alarm looking for me", she laughed a bit before starting to head inside, "I'll see you later?" I questIoned just before she walked into the buIlding, "aww you enjoy my company that much", she laughed as she slightly turned her head back towards me, I looked away from her feeling her teasing gaze on almost imprinting onto my face, "n-no it's just I think us misfits should stick together ya know", she chuckled pushing the door open as her hair flowed in wind, "sure thing then I'll see you around", I didn't get the chance to say anything back as the door closed behind her.
