Chapter 2: 2. New Life
Armaros let out a sigh as he sat in his room. He had turned 12 three months ago, but his life in the household hasn't changed much. He can still remember how he was when he first gained consciousness, learning that he has been reborn was a shock for sure.
It took time for him to get used to the fact that he had died and has now been reborn in another world as a member of the nobility. He is also the only male child of the matriarch of the Dawnbringer family.
*Knock knock*
Armaros blinked when he heard the knocking as he looked at the door before he remembered the time.
"Master Armaros, it's time for your training." The woman, his caretaker, called out from outside the room.
"I'm coming." Armaros said to her as he went and opened the door as he came face to face with his nanny.
She is a good looking woman who has brown hair tied in a bun, brown eyes, and is wearing a maid outfit. She has a good figure, big breasts and a good butt as well. She also wore glasses as she smiled at him as he looked at her.
Despite the fact that he had been reincarnated, his mother didn't have much thoughts about raising him and left the job to his nanny who has taken care of him since he was a child.
"Hello Mary." Armaros said to her with a smile as he saw her.
Due to the fact that she is the one who mainly raised him, he always felt happy at seeing him as she is a nice woman and a good caretaker as well, and she is also beautiful which gained her more points.
"Master Armaros, are you ready?" Mary asked him with a smile.
"Yes." Armaros said with a nod, though he was reluctant to go for training, knowing how it would go.
The two them made their way to the training area, with Mary following right behind him as he already knew the direction in which the training area is.
They passed by many servants of the family and they only gave him a small bow as they walked past him. Though he has grown used to their lower respect for him as he didn't care about that. Though Mary did frown as she saw the way the other servants acted, but she kept her thoughts to herself.
The interior of the mansion was beautiful and the craftsmanship is immaculate as it is very detailed. It is not only very sturdy and durable, it is also very great to look at as well.
The two reached the training area and they saw that there were already people in the training arena before the two of them. And Armaros couldn't help but frown as he saw the four girls on the arena, and the fifth one who is sitting at the stands and watching them.
They were his siblings, he has two older sisters and three younger sisters. He is the third child and the only male out of the children his mother had given birth to.
The first child, Claudia Dawnbringer, is 17 years old, the oldest sibling and sister and the strongest of the six of them. She has long light blonde hair reaching her knees, light green eyes, fair skin, a beautiful face and body which is curvaceous and shows potential for further growth.
The second child, Arianne Dawnbringer, is 15 years old and the second strongest. She has light blonde hair, light green eyes, fair skin, a beautiful face and body which is slightly curvaceous as well.
The fourth child, Solana Dawnbringer, is 10 years old and to his sadness, the third strongest amongst them. She has light blonde hair, light green eyes, fair skin, a beautiful face which makes her looks doll like and a lithe and slim body.
The fifth child, Fleur Dawnbringer, is 8 years old, and is the fourth strongest. She has light blonde hair, dark green eyes, fair skin, a beautiful face and body, though she has some baby fat left in her cheeks, but she has a slim and strong body.
The sixth and last child, Valeria Dawnbringer, is 6 years old and also the fifth strongest of the siblings. She has light blonde hair, light green eyes, fair skin, a beautiful and adorable face.
Aside from Valeria, the other four sisters are wearing training garbs as they used their magic and sword techniques. Though they stopped for a moment as they looked at him as he walked down the steps and into the arena.
Armaros gave a small wave and a nervous smile to them but the four of them looked at him blankly before they scoffed and went back to training. Even Valeria didn't give him much attention as she went back to watching her sisters.
"Master..." Mary said as she looked at him.
"It's fine Mary. You can go to do your job." Armaros said to her with a smile as she nodded and went back.
Though she did look back at him once before she went away. He removed the clothes over his training garb as he went and picked up a wooden sword and started to practice the family swordsmanship on the wooden dummy.
The sisters didn't pay him any mind as they were focused on their respective training. But he knew their behaviour as he took some breaths of air and then tensed his body as he got into the stance.
Then he did an arc slash as he closed the distance between himself and the dummy as he quickly dealt many powerful blows on it. He kept on with the attacks as he attacked with great speeds and power, until finally the sword in his hand broke from all the attacks.
Armaros looked at the broken wooden sword and sighed at the sight. His left ears twitched a bit as he looked to his left and saw Arianne looking at him with a cold gaze.
"You still do not use your mana when using our sword?" Arianne asked with a glare.
Armaros just looked down at that as he knew that nothing he said would work. His sister just clicked his tongue at his actions.
"How in the world is a weak guy like you a member of our family?" Arianne said as she shook her head.
Armaros didn't dignify her with a response as she just looked at him with a dismissive look before she walked away. But it wasn't like he didn't understand why she would be like that.
Their family, the Dawnbringers, are one of the most important family in the human empire. Their progenitor, Lucius Dawnbringer, was one of the heroes of the Demon War, and a key figure who played a vital role in the defeat of the Demonic army.
Not only was the progenitor very powerful, he was also blessed the God of Light, giving him the ability to manipulate and use Holy Light and also made him more powerful due to being blessed by him.
Not only did he win the war alongside the other heroes, it was said that he had also ascended as well. Whether that claim is true or not is unknown for now.
But the fact was that his ability to use Holy Light, was something only the Saint of the God of Light was able to do and due to it being of Holy nature, it is very effective against the Demonic forces.
Being blessed not only empowered him, but also strengthened his bloodline. Those descended from him have bodies which are tougher, stronger, heal faster and have greater mana than normal people and anyone born from this bloodline are naturally more powerful than others.
And this is shown as his sister's have powerful bodies and mana pools that are far greater than any ordinary or noble born. Of course, this wouldn't be the only reason they would become one of the most important families in the empire.
They were also born with the ability to create and use Holy Light like their progenitor. This made them invaluable as they are naturally able to fight against demons and are also their weakness as well.
But unfortunately for Armaros, he wasn't born with the same strength like his many sisters. His body wasn't as strong as theirs were, nor did he have the great mana pool that his sisters had.
It wasn't like he didn't have a good body, he hasn't fallen ill even once in his life, and he can feel that his body is much stronger than the one he had in his last life, but compared to his sisters, his wasn't impressive as it was only a few times stronger than a normal people.
'Well, I don't like using Mana anyway.' Armaros thought to himself as he started training again using another sword.
His own sisters trained using metal swords and dummies, he was not allowed to use them since he never used Mana whenever he trained physically, so he didn't have the same power like his sisters as well.
"Alright, it's time for magic traning." Their instructor said as the five of them stopped their respective training.
'Here we go.' Armaros thought to himself as he placed his sword back.
The four of his sister's got ready as the instructor made targets for them to hit. All four of them immediately raised their right hands and created Holy Light spheres and shot them at the targets and obliterated them, leaving nothing in place.
"That means you as well, Armaros." The instructor said as he looked at him.
"Yes." Armaros said as he raised his right arm.
He activated his mana and immediately he felt pain in his body as he stood stone faced.
'No matter how many times I do this, it's still the same.' Armaros thought to himself as he kept his calm as much as he can as he endured the pain.
