A Loli’s Space Odyssey

My treasury. Where was it located? Well in what was left of the main throne room, there was an ugly giant rug. And under it is basically where I placed the entrance to the treasury. Don’t judge me. It only opens with my biometric data anyway, so it’s safe.

 

Ok. It's not exactly Erebor, but the amount of gold in here is still ridiculous. Coins and jewelry as well as other articles all made of solid gold. There was still a large path you could walk and observe everything. Why did I make a path?

 

Well… gold isn't water. Don't expect you can pull off a Scrooge McDuck dive. Jumping on anything solid hurts. Getting around it is better. 

 

But my treasury doesn't stop at gold. Every weapon released in the game, from blasters, sniper rifles, proton swords and anything you can imagine. Of course, something as convenient as a sorting function by level or rarity is not available. Yet even so, I feel like all I have to do is think of the weapon, and it will come to me. Technically now that I am reconnected to this space, I should eventually be able to pull off a stunt similar to Gate of Babylon.

 

"Ojou-sama, what are we doing here?" (Alisha))

 

"Just a routine check. To make sure nothing is missing. With this amount of gold I can rebuild everything easily."

 

"How so?"

“The master control panel.”

“Forgive me, but I have no knowledge of what you speak.”

The master control panel is basically what players use when they decorate and create their guilds. It’s natural for a subordinate like Alisha to not know about it. Technically whenever the guild takes damage after a guild war, by spending a certain amount of Sol or gold, all damage is instantly repaired. How much gold would it take in this particular case? A lot. Roughly the size of Europe’s biggest indoor aqua park pool maybe. But lucky, it’s an expanse I can cover. Glad I stuffed this space with a huge amount of gold.

“Don’t mind it. For now we need to find energy cells. I should have a good amount of those lying around here. They can power the secondary engine on Ava so the others can get the ship over here. If only I can find them…”

“You don’t know where to locate them?”

“Alisha, the vastness of my treasury long surpassed my memory.”

“Of course. Forgive my earlier remark.”

It’s more like I dumped everything in randomly. When I designed this place it seemed like a good idea. Let's just try this…

 

I extended my hand as if reaching for something and my palm got sucked up by an invisible force. When I pulled it out…

 

*Bang*

 

Energy cells around the same size as myself fell down.

 

"Ooo! As expected of ojou-sama!! You didn't want to bother with searching in this vast space, you bent the space to your will!"

 

Err… sure. Keep up that imagination. This is basically just a standard inventory skill. This entire treasury is considered my inventory now.

 

"Alisha, I want you to take these cells to Ava. Get the other girls here too."

 

"Of course. But what will you do in the meantime?"

 

"I can't start rebuilding this place until I reaffirm that I am the main authority of this planet.

 

If I make to large of a move, people might just try attacking this place again. With no subjects it would be too big of a hassle. So I am going to pay a visit to this Ingrid."

 

"Absolutely not! I would fail as your bodyguard if I were to let you go alone. Please reconsider."

 

Yare yare…

 

"Fine. Then we'll take the cells together. The snowy mountain top is in the same direction I parked Ava."

 

"Thank you for listening to my selfish request, ojou-sama."

 

"Bayek. You stay here until we come back."

 

"As you command."

 

Let's get this show on the road. I got lots of work ahead of me. I'd rather get it over as soon as possible.

"I think we might be in serious trouble, girls." (Stella)

 

"Ara? So I was right in coming here, despite this terrible heat." (???)

 

A voice that shouldn’t be here was heard.

 

Stella's breathing stopped. Her chest was beating rapidly.

 

――No way, why is this person here?

 

A human silhouette was in front of Ava.

 

"Allow me to introduce myself. Ingrid von Hollsen, ruler of this planet."

 

Blasphemy. The one true ruler was their lovely mistress. However at this point nobody had the strength to open their mouths.

 

"Why are you here?"

 

"I’m sensitive to strength, see. My power to detect high power levels is something I take great pride in, you know? There is no way I will overlook a promising warrior that came to my world."

 

She was walking towards them while saying that with a smile.

 

"So this is something we must face? I wish we could use the ships guns at this point. I'm not good at combat…" (Molly)

 

"Analysis: My scanners indicate that this person is a terrific opponent. Even if we work together, we are no match for her." (Shiro)

 

The trio maid squad were the ones that stood in Ingrid's way.

 

"Miss Ingrid……perhaps we are not a match against you. However, we won’t be defeated that easily." (Mio)

 

Mio readied her hammer, Yuri with her hand cannons, Misha with her scythe and spinning proton gatling gun, each of them prepared their respective weapons and took a stance that could attack anytime.

 

However Ingrid didn’t look concerned at all, she left behind foot tracks in the sand, walking towards them.

 

"I welcome you all. Welcome to Ingrid’s world. This is a world where only strength has meaning. If you all are strong, then surely it will please you."

 

Cold sweat trickled down Mio’s cheeks.

 

Her distance with Ingrid was roughly five meters.

 

She was lost whether to attack or not.

 

――What’s with this person? She is just too defenseless, it’s like she isn’t even looking at us. Yet I can't help the feeling that if I jump at her, I would immediately fall.

 

While all that was going on, Ingrid bumped into the bodies of the trio and she kept advancing without stopping by pushing the maids aside.

 

"Honestly, with the current power you all have there is nothing worth considering, but perhaps you will grow from here on, and even if it’s no good you can still become an underdog for others."

Mio instantly showed a furious expression and raised her hammer.

 

"Don’t screw around!"

 

Mio's hammer had a special power. It was a power that twisted cause and effect and forcefully prioritized the effect. Even if the opponent evaded the hammer’s attack, the fact that they evaded would be made to not exist and the effect that they were struck by the hammer would be prioritized by this ability. However this skill has a lengthy cooldown in exchange.

 

The hammer struck Ingrid's head.

 

"It hit……" (Stella)

 

Fear was welling up inside her heart along with that whisper.

 

Ingrid’s legs stopped.

 

And then she looked up at the hammer above her head as though she only noticed it just now.

 

"My……this is rare."

 

And then she glared at Mio.

 

"Ho, how is it? Now you rea, realize, my strength?"

 

"Fufu."

 

Even though she had hit her with a critical hit, but Ingrid acted like she was only hit by a raindrop. 

 

――Wha, what in the world, is this person!? There is not even a little bit of damage?

 

Ingrid looked around at the trio maids around her once more.

 

"I didn’t notice at all because my ice guardian is not reacting. But, that weapon has the same metal properties as my blade. That’s really rare. However…"

 

Ingrid's expression immediately changed into disappointment.

 

"...It’s power is too weak. This hammer is a weapon of the same metal as my weapon, but it’s too lacking in destructive power. You won’t be able to defeat your enemy with power like that."
