A Loli’s Space Odyssey

After Kizuna disappeared in a mysterious manner, it was Bayek’s duty to maintain this place safe. And for a few years I carried out that duty. Until the Vanderbach Federation appeared.

“HAAAAAAAAAH!”

 

Bayek’s fist cut through the air.

 

The Nemean armor fist struck the opponent with a severe punch. A terrific impact sound was given off and sparks scattered, the shockwave rolled up the sand.

 

It was a critical hit. However the enemy’s armor was also thick.

 

What blocked the fist was the neck of a giant boar. It was a lump of steel with a height of two meters in total, and its width reached a meter, stopping Bayek’s fist right from the front.

 

“Kuh!”

 

Bayek took distance in one go using his thruster and slid on top of the sand. 

 

That man’s name was Bjorn.

 

A tall body that was nearly two meters and light armor that looked as though it was one with the body. His beautiful golden hair lengthened until his back and his well-featured face looked masculine like a Greek sculpture. 

 

“Fufufu, I never thought that someone out here could face me, who is ranked 53 in lady Hollsen’s army.”

 

“It was a mistake on our part to let the Federation establish a settlement on the mountain range. We were generous since nobody uses that place but… now I see how much of an error ojou-sama’s retainer has made when he gave you the stamp.”

After the Federation established a settlement on Eleanor, they secretly brought troops and ships and started a full scale assault to take over the planet. Battles were being held everywhere, and Bayek was doing his fair share of fighting.

 

“But you see Bayek, talented as you may be, you cannot possibly reach this Bjorn. Even if a miracle occurs, you won’t be able to defeat this me.”

 

Bayek kicked on the ground before Bjorn could finish talking. She closed the distance in an instant. But in reaction to Bayek’s attack, the giant boar cut in between the two of them once more. The boar stopped Bayek’s fist with its nose and then it opened its mouth. That force bounced off Bayek’s arm.

 

“Kuh!”

 

“Now, Grillburst!”

 

Flame was spouted out from the largely opened mouth of the boar of steel. It was a beam shaped flame that was compressed into high density. Bayek defended against that flame’s pressure making an X cross shield with his arms. His gauntlets took the blast.

 

“tsk……you!”

 

“Don’t underestimate my defense!”

 

Bayek still looked like he was burned to a crisp as smoke was coming out of his entire armor. But he stood up somehow. 

“What will you do? Surrender?”

 

“Don’t joke! I’ll defeat you and then I’ll beat your leader!”

 

“Fufufu, Bayek. So you plan to challenge Ingrid-sama?”

 

“What a fool.”

 

Bayek stared at the shining sword Bjorn was holding with a fearless smile. As though to shake off Bayek’s gaze, Bjorn readied his sword and showed an unpleasant expression.

 

“You can die here!”

 

Bjorn brandished his sword. Bayek wasted no time to put one of his hands forward.

 

Bjorn wondered whether he was begging for his life with that movement.

 

But in the next moment, a magic circle spread from Bayek’s palm. The shining bright pattern was slowly rotating while advancing toward Bayek. 

 

“What-!?”

 

“Demolisher!!”

 

A huge cannon was pulled out. And then that cannon muzzle was put on the forehead of his boar. At that moment, terror ran through Bjorn.

 

“That’s impossible!!”

 

“Fire!!”

 

The corruption armament that Bayek readied, Demolisher, launched tremendous light. It was a ruthless light, destroying everything in its path. A hole was opened instantly on the boar’s forehead, and in the next moment, the boar was smashed apart into pieces in a whirl. And then the light of destruction headed straight to Bjorn.

 

“U! GOKAAAGUAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”

 

He raised a scream of death agony and he got blown away. t.

 

“Impossible……this, me is……like this.”

 

Bjorn’s body was literally crumbling.

 

*Clap**clap*

 

"That was quite enjoyable for me." (???)

 

As Bayek turned his head around, he saw the figure of a woman. From the description of his dying men he knew who this woman was.

 

"Ingrid von Hollsen!"

 

"You seem more entertaining than that crocodile I met earlier."

 

"Don't tell me… what did you do to Sobek?"

 

"That was his name? I killed him, what else? He was too big and annoying so I had to silence him. But you are a different story. I'll spare your life if you come and fight in my coliseum."

 

Bayek reflexively clicked his tongue. Inside his heart rage was welling up, thinking that this woman would only bring ruin.

 

"Ingrid, I challenge you!"

 

"It’s fine even if you don’t be that impatient right? Even if you fight me now, you have no chance of victory. You will become stronger if you mature more. Even if I steal your current ability it won’t really be helpful."

 

"Don’t screw around-! If I defeat you then this war is over. I will absolutely defeat you!"

 

Bayek faced Ingrid and took his stance. 

 

"Geez……can’t be helped then."

 

Ingrid sighed deeply looking disappointed.

 

"Then, take this."

 

With just one flick of her hand, a pure white spear came flying towards Bayek.

 

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!"

 

Bayek’s body instantly traversed through ten kilometers and crashed into a pillar. 

 

"See? You're not a match for me."

 

As Ingrid got close to the crash site.

 

"Huh? He's not here. How shrewd. He used that gap to run away. Oh well. That just proves he's a coward and I have no room for cowards on my side. Let's see what else I can kill around here."

"My body was screaming at me to run away. That is my shame and sin. After that this city turned into ruins.

 

I still did my best to protect it from mercenaries or scavengers hoping that one day you would return, but running away that day is something I will always regret. If you wish to end my life here, then I will gladly give it up."

 

"No. What's done is done. If you weren't around, this place might have turned even worse as it is. But don't get me wrong, I will punish you at a later time."

 

"Ojou-sama, I don't deserve your kindness…"

 

"Don't cry."

 

Why am I so pissed? I'm not actually Kizuna. I shouldn't be affected this much? Is it because someone spilled a can of paint all over my painting? Is my artistic side that touchy? My girls all want me to be the ruler I am meant to be and I don't see a reason to go against their wishes.

 

But what exactly do I want? Do I really want this? The name Ingrid von Hollsen wasn't implemented in Fraxinus Online. Is it okay to be confident against an enemy I have no knowledge about? Is it ok to face this enemy? I could just leave this planet and forget about it but…

 

After pondering, I can't. I won't. This is my world. I worked many hours on it. It's not perfect but it's mine. I won't let go of it. Miss Ingrid, if you want a battle to never forget you'll get one. You messed with the wrong loli and now it's time to pay!
