Chapter 33 - I
The black snake laid with its belly turned upward, concealing its reverse scales beneath the tip of its tail, and fixed its gaze on Wan Zhong with a pair of green vertical pupils.
Wan Zhong leaned forward, exerting great force as he held the rope. Despite his worn-out shoes, he couldn’t move the black snake.
“Handsome snake~”
“Huh~!”
Wan Zhong panted heavily, patting the shiny reverse scales under the tail of the black snake, urging anxiously, “Don’t just rely on my strength; you need to move too. The monster will be back soon, and we can’t stay here.”
The black snake flicked upward after being prodded by him. Narrowing its vertical pupils, it spat out a snake tongue and slowly took out the notebook in its mind: snake egg + 1.
Glancing at Wan Zhong, it showed no intention of leaving, so Wan Zhong gave it two more punches, saying, “I’m not exaggerating. Xuan Ming is truly not a good creature! His snake tail quality is terrible. He claimed I am his mate, but he – ”
Wan Zhong avoided mentioning the rogue monster and tried to persuade the black snake.
“Come with me. Although I have can’t provide a comfortable place, and lack gold, I offer sincere companionship. I can’t protect you by sleeping in the open air, but I have a genuine heart for you.”
The black snake paused after the accounting and nearly burst into laughter.
It thought, ‘Is your smooth talk trying to deceive a ghost? You haven’t even given me a piece of meat, and you claim sincerity? In just a few words, you want me to leave my nest and elope with you. Are you avoiding kissing, hugging, and wrapping with tail around me? I’m a smart and handsome snake; I won’t be fooled.’
The black snake effortlessly tore off the straw rope around its head with the tip of its tail, rolled up its annoying mate, threw him into the pit, then playfully slapped Wan Zhong’s buttocks twice and departed.
Wan Zhong hurriedly called out, “Hey! Handsome snake, where are you going? Wait for me! I haven’t picked up the mirror yet, hey!” Holding the underwear strap and the mirror, he was about to chase when the black snake who disappeared from the cave entrance. In the next second, Xuan Ming with flowing long hair returned.
Stunned, Wan Zhong stood on the high black soil platform, unsure whether to faint, run, or secure the underwear in his hands.
Xuan Ming raised his long eyebrows slightly, extended his hand towards him and said, “Jump down, I’ll catch you.”
Wan Zhong loosened his underwear, raised the mirror, looked at Xuan Ming’s head, and hit him hard.
.
A few minutes later…
Xuan Ming was looking in the mirror and weaving a mat. Wan Zhong was riding on his tail with slap marks all over his butt. Tremblingly handing tree vines to him, he hunched his shoulders and whispered, “I’m sorry, I was wrong. I will never dare to do it again.”
Xuan Ming hit him several times on the butt.
Tears welled up in Wan Zhong’s eyes from the pain, and he gritted his teeth, refusing to groan.
Xuan Ming used the tip of his tail to lift Wan Zhong’s chin, making him look up. Though tears filled his eyes, he remained stubborn and refused to let the tears fall. Setting aside his work, Xuan Ming asked, “Feeling wronged?”
Wan Zhong shook his head, whispering, “Don’t dare.”
“Don’t dare?” Xuan Ming seemed to find some humor in it. “You ran away on your own, and now you want to steal my pet snake and run away with it. What else do you not dare to do?”
Wan Zhong remained silent for a while, then nervously curled his fingers and inquired, “Did the black snake complain to you?” He seemed ready to break into tears if Xuan Ming confirmed it.
“…” Xuan Ming replied, “That snake has your heart now, and I haven’t had time to deal with it. It secretly stole the master’s mate.”
Wan Zhong hastily defended, “It didn’t! Don’t bully it!”
Xuan Ming placed Wan Zhong against his waist and abdomen, touching foreheads with him. Their noses nearly touched as Xuan Ming leaned in and smirked, “You care about it so much?”
The proximity was dangerously intimate.
Wan Zhong’s scalp tingled, fearing that Xuan Ming might attempt to kiss him if he showed any resistance. When he turned his head to avoid it, Xuan Ming seized the back of his head and kissed him forcefully.
It was overpowering.
He wasn’t allowed to break free or show reluctance.
Wan Zhong subdued his escape attempt to endure, he breathed heavily, imagining the blue sky, white clouds, and a gentle breeze to relax himself.
“Don’t run away again,” Xuan Ming declared emotionlessly after kissing him. He licked the saliva from the corner of Wan Zhong’s mouth and added, “You’re very frail. Without my care, you won’t survive on this island. And no matter where you run, I’ll bring you back, so don’t get into trouble.”
Wan Zhong felt despair in his heart, a quiet and deep despair was visible on his face.
Xuan Ming, irritated by the desolation in his eyes, reluctantly said, “Don’t worry, if you don’t want to tie snake tail with me, I won’t force you.”
Wan Zhong’s eyes flickered, “Then let me go.”
“No,” Xuan Ming refused.
“Ha,” Wan Zhong’s eyes held a hint of mockery.
Xuan Ming frowned, swinging his tail to smash a hole in the rock wall with a bang. The green pupils in his long eyes burned like flames.
Wan Zhong trembled in Xuan Ming’s arms, and impatiently Xuan Ming questioned, “No matter where you go, you’re on my territory. Why do you want to escape?”
Wan Zhong remained silent, his eyes red.
Xuan Ming grew irritated at his state. Swinging his tail, he tirelessly dug a hole in the rock wall all night. Yet, even though he allowed Wan Zhong to retreat, he didn’t permit him to leave. At most, it was a step back rather than a full-fledged force of intimacy.
But Wan Zhong didn’t believe Xuan Ming.
