Anime Lottery System

After turning in my bounty I bought some food and got some rest in the inn in town. By the time I did that and bought some supplies I was out of money again. Luckily thanks to the tip the officer gave me, I had a lead on a pirate whose bounty would give me a pretty decent payday.

I followed the directions he gave me and found myself at the place he'd set up as his base a lot quicker than I thought I would. Apparently, this guy is some sort of violent criminal that has been terrorizing the villages in this area for a while now. It'll be a bonus to help out the locals along with picking up a decent chunk of change. I've never been particularly good at being sneaky so I just waltzed right in the front door.

"Hey! Do you know whose hideout this is kid? This is the base of the Mad Pistoleer Prauge Grant! He has a bounty of 10 million berries! If you mess with us you're dead meat!" Said a random lackey trying to intimidate me.

"Now, now. The kid is clearly just lost. Why else would he carelessly walk into a den of dangerous outlaws like us?" Captain Grant said with a laugh.

"No actually I'm here to capture you guys and turn you in for your bounty." I said bluntly. This caused the crew of pirates to start laughing uncontrollably.

"Kid do you know who I am? I'm the best sharpshooter in the West Blue. I'm Captain of the Pistoleer Pirates, The Mad Pistoleer Prague Grant! You must have no idea who you're messing with!"

"I obviously know who you are or else I wouldn't be here to capture you. Are you stupid or something?" My words seemed to really enrage the captain as he ordered his men to attack me.

"This will be my first real test of my power. If I can't even beat small time pirates like these guys then maybe I wasn't ready for this journey after all. I guess I'll go all out from the start just to be safe."

"Bankai!!! Hihiō Zabimaru!!!!" At my command my sword changed forms into the shape of a giant skeletal snake with red fur around the neck and was covered in bamboo sections down to the hilt. Before I attacked them, I admired my new sword. "So cool! Zabimaru really is the best!"

The transformation of my sword seemed to frighten the pirates in the base as a few of them started to panic and run away. Captain Grant started to shoot his pistol at Zabimaru, but I guess he was panicking too because he missed every shot.

"That's too bad, if you really were an expert sharpshooter I was thinking of letting you join my crew, but it looks like you can't perform under pressure. Plus on second thought I really wouldn't want a bad guy like you in my crew anyway." I then swung Zabimaru and in a single swing trapped the whole crew in the jaws of Zabimaru.

"Well that was pretty easy. They were just small fry anyway. But still it's good to know that I'm at least strong enough to take care of guys like this with no problem."

After defeating Captain Grant's pirate crew I made my way back to the navy outpost to collect my reward.

Much to the Navy officers who sent me out surprise, I had come back fairly quickly after defeating the entire crew of pirates. "Whoa! You actually pulled it off? I guess I really underestimated you. Those guys were supposed to be really dangerous."

"Nah, they were small fry, it was no trouble at all. Anyway, money please." I said holding out my hand.

"Yeah of course, that'll be 10 million for Captain Grant and another million for his crew. That'll be 11 million total, here you go." He said handing over my money.

This amount of money will be enough to take care of supplies for a while, plus I need to buy a new ship, I probably still couldn't afford a big one but at least something that would be an upgrade over the dinghy that I've been using. The officers told me that there were shipbuilders on the island directly north of here. That was perfect, I could get a new ship and maybe even recruit a shipwright to my crew. But before I left one of the officers stopped me.

"Hey that was seriously impressive how you took out an entire crew of pirates despite being so young. Have you ever thought of quitting being a bounty hunter and joining the Navy?"

His question was interesting, I wasn't actually a bounty hunter, I was just turning in bounties to make some extra money. But also, I never really considered what I wanted to do on my adventure, I could pick up being a bounty hunter full time or maybe I could join the Navy, or I could go on a form a pirate crew. As I rowed my boat to the next island I considered all my options.
