Chapter 2: Life's Beginnings

3rd POV

The first to rise was a truly gigantic entity created out of the rock and water found on the ocean floor. It rose out of the water a faceless humanoid entity, one that only had two rock eyes that both looked emotionless and yet full of emotions. This primordial appeared in the center of the planet's largest ocean, one separated from the rest by the two gigantic continents that were already formed on the planet.

This entity would stand in the center of the ocean as more of its siblings popped out all over the world. In the west, a being rose out of one of the last remaining primordial volcanos as molten lava/rock, its roar echoing across the lands as it destroyed the mountain as it moved out of it, its form constantly changing as it resembled a gigantic fiery minotaur-like entity.

In the East though, from the canyon, a being rose from beneath the earth made out of rock and ore. Their appearance resembles that of what earthlings would call a humanoid reptile, one who has the head of a reptile and a serpent's tail. It would be far calmer and more curious than its cousins, it would look around its environment and eventually exit the deep canyon and tower over the land it was born from, easily one of the biggest things on its side of the world.

As one being raged in the west, destroying and reshaping the landscape as they saw fit, like a child that was throwing a tantrum. In the ocean, however, the watery being merely stood there unsure of what to do, what it was meant to do. In the East, the reptile-like being explored, trying to understand its new environment and purpose for being like its watery cousin.

These three beings would be the first, the first to walk the world and explore and the first ones to shape it to their will, their whims.

Yet the entity that would be known as Volra continued to take in more mana and pump it into the world, having turned it into Holy energy. The primordial entities would be confused by their presence, unable to understand what was happening but would nonetheless feel an instinctual fear towards the black tendrils and leave them alone.

Eventually, a storm brewed in the center of the world as a typhoon of mana and power formed. Then lighting and thunder would boom across the area as the newest primordial began to fully form and become the first primordial who represented the sky. They stayed a living typhoon but now had a neck/head that resembled a ram and gigantic arms made of clouds and lighting.

While nameless for now, the begins would eventually name the four, The Primordial Ocean Oera, The Raging One Melga, Serava The Curious Earth, and Rava The Ancient Storm. Each one was created from the power of the planet and Volra, each one made to facilitate growth on the planet and eventually create the gods, monsters, and mortals that would call this world home.

Yet that would not happen for years, as Oera now began to wander the earth, towards the West, on a collision course with Melga. These two would not be the only ones to clash, however, as Serava began going North towards the ever-present tempest known as Rava whose roars acted as thunder and whose fists were far stronger than typical lighting strikes.

As the four entities approached one another, another significant event would transpire as Volra's black tentacles detached themselves from the world and went back as the entity simply watched on as their children began fighting, beginning to truly changing the world for better or worse.

The first to throw a punch was Melga who saw the ever-wandering Oera and roared out charging straight into the ocean like the bull it resembled. Its magma touched the ocean's surface and turned it into rock and obsidian as it charged the now-confused Oera.

Its fist collided with its head sending it flying back but not down and with a fury not known to it until now, it raised its arms controlling the waters of the ocean, and sent a tsunami towards it. Melga gathered its magma and began using its heat to evaporate the water and the magma to create a gigantic wall of rock/obsidian.

As the wave clashed against it, Melga charged through the newly formed wall and added the material to its body, making itself bigger. Gathering much of its magma into its right fist, the primordial threw a punch at them and it went through their body forming rock and obsidian gathering all the water it could, Oera engulfed Melga into their body, turning them into a statue with no magma/lava to be found.

Seeing that Melga was no longer moving, Oera retreated back into the ocean while showing no obvious signs of injury, they showed signs of fatigue and perhaps required rest.

Yet as it left, a bright orange glow emitted from Melga's frozen body as it burst forth from it and roared to life, they stopped seeing that their opponent left and began walking back towards land ready to continue its rampage across the continent.

All the while Serava began to approach the ever-present storm Rava and Rava seeing them roared out and began reshaping their body now almost fully resembling an Earth goat with gigantic horns of blue lighting and black clouds for a body. It let out a bah as its newly formed body charged at the earth reptile primordial who simply let out a rocky hiss of their own and a barrage of carved metallic ore.

As the charging ram collided with the barrage of sharpened metallic ore, small explosions would go off disorienting Rava who steered to the side and collided with the ground leaving a massive crater. Shaking it off, they simply bleeped like an Earth Ram and charged again, undeterred by the setback.

Rava launched Serava into the air, and then gathered all is power outside of their mouth and launched it in quick succession. The blast of power resembled a bright blue lighting ball that ran through the air and collided with Serava scattering their body all over the earth around Rava who just bleeped and went back into the typhonn that had grown considerbly smaller in its absence, rejoining the greater whole.

Serava was not destroyed however, as the piece that was once part of its head, burrowed into the Earth and began to move away from the storm, remaking its body in the process.

Volra watched on, its calculation going off without hitch yet would still have no emotion on its face as their homeworlds development went without a hitch.

[Primoridals satisfactory for now, possible pathways reopened and in need of further study]

[Intelligence will be formed eventually as Water and Earth Primoridals have shown clear signs of intelligence]

-----

Authors note, yes the primroidals seem weak for right but they are the equvilanet of newborns and only have animal instincts so far, and it will change soon. That and we will be exploring the myths this world makes when the first humanoids are created, so stay tuned.
